You can tell that the baker Timmer has a monopoly on Texel. The bread and cake prices that the company can set are correspondingly high. As a consumer, you only have the option of purchasing baked goods cheaper from discounters or supermarkets. The price-performance ratio at Timmer used to be better.

I was satisfied. Coffee was very good and the food was good too.

Tough old sandwich without hardly any cheese, coffee is ditch water, omelette tough and dirty.... really not recommended, only the price was great!!

Omelette sandwich for breakfast. Was not fresh, but factory-prepared and warmed-up omelette with a dry, rubbery structure. A bit of a shame, you can have an omelet freshly prepared within a minute.

Toast is rock hard and bone dry. Cheese is the same... tasteless too. Another sandwich with brie and honey, too much honey. We'll never come here again De Koog Texel. Response to Bakker... No, we did not report it, what you buy just has to be good. Never had a sandwich that bad, dry and rock hard, whoever made it could have seen that with the naked eye. Cheese on the side you could also see that it didn't look right.

We were here for the first time today and absolutely disappointed. The small (!) cappuccino cup was only half full, the cheese turnover was ice cold, tough and definitely not fresh (possibly even from the day before?) The apple turnover was also not tasty. In addition, the outside area was very unkempt, there was garbage and cigarette butts everywhere on the floor, and the tables were not clean. Absolutely not recommended.

Breakfast review: The prices are relatively high. Unfortunately, you only get dry rolls that are not even smeared with butter (i.e. without butter or anything similar). The salad is out of the bag and not fresh. The ingredients in general are not good. Here I'm not judging the taste, but the quality. The taste is not convincing due to the quality. If you want to pay a lot and get little, this is a good place for breakfast. I can’t say anything about “buying bread”.

First visit to Texel is always a coffee at Timmer, delicious!

We were very disappointed with the rolls. Very bad for a “real baker”. Hardly any taste and a consistency like rubber. The baked rolls from the discount store taste better and are crunchier too. We baked our own bread rolls for the rest of our vacation. They were way better than Timmer's, even though we don't do that often.

Café and bakery with high quality products at acceptable prices.

You can have breakfast here and, if desired, sit on the terrace. Placing an order is a bit confusing for the first time, but above all very expensive! Next time I'll look for a nice alternative.

The quality of this business has deteriorated significantly in recent years. We have been coming to Texel for 18 years. This year very expensive, mediocre quality (fresh bread tastes old, and coffee dirty), and very unfriendly staff. First time a very expensive breakfast with bad coffee and old bread in the tea room. Our little one wouldn't eat the bread, and only ate the ham. Second time, after we had spent almost 10 euros on bread, and we wanted to sit on the terrace for a moment to give our toddler his sandwich, we were immediately asked to leave because in their opinion our sandwiches were 'to go'. Bij "echte" bakker Timmer kun je heerlijke verse broodjes kopen. Ook taarten en gebakjes zijn hier te verkrijgen. Wil je echt iets lekkers, dan is het een aanrader om hier iets kopen.

Mooie winkel. Vriendelijk personeel. En heel veel lekkers.

Echt lekker brood! Vers en kwaliteit! Wel echt retedruk in de winkel ‘s ochtends. Maar als je tijdens het wachten alvast een broodje oppeuzelt dan doen ze niet moeilijk. Gewoon lieve mensen dus. Maarre…. Wel netjes betalen!

Der Laden ist mitten in der Fußgängerzone und gut erreichbar, die Backwaren sind ok.

Hier kann man gut zu Kaffee und Kuchen einkehren.

Veel keuze. Heerlijk gebak, koeken en brood. Wel wat prijzig.

Leuke locatie. Redelijke prijs.

Lekkere koffie, maar gebak was duidelijk niet vers. Ook was het aan de dure kant.

Extreem duur. Totaal geen waar voor je geld. Het is kwalitatief wel in orde maar niet voor de prijs die je moet neertikken. Broodjes zijn karig belegd en je moet het zelf ophalen en opruimen. 32euro voor 2 broodjes en drankjes.

Fijne bakkerij en lunchroom goed terras

We went to get bread for breakfast here once or twice and I was always back in no time, because they handle that really efficiently. You can pick your bread and buns yourself and pay them at one of the two registers. We also had lunch here once with the kids and the options are great and not too expensive. They have quite a big playcorner for kids as well, allowing for a relaxed lunch even with kids. Its situated in the middle of De Koog with ample parking for bikes and a carpark somewhat closeby.

Ook op zondagochtend konden we hier een kop koffie/thee halen met gebak. Stelt niet veel voor; eigenlijk meer zelf bediening, maar dat maakt niet uit. Het appelgebak smaakte goed. Konden goed zitten, dus wij waren tevreden.

Update 22.07.23: Nach 2 Jahren heute mal wieder bei Timmer Kuchen gegessen. Schmeckt immer noch genauso lecker. --------- Auch immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Leckere Kuchen und div. Kaffeevarianten laden zum Verweilen und entspannen ein. Aufgrund von Covid 19 müssen ein paar besondere Regeln beachtet werden.

Arroganz hat einen Namen. Man steht, oder wie in meinem Fall, man sitzt im Rollstuhl vor der Theke und möchte bestellen. 3 Bedienungen im Umkreis von 1 Meter und keiner nimmt Notiz von mir. Was ist denn da los.... Nachtrag. Wir kommen seit 25 Jahren nach Tx und zu euch. Vielleicht hatten alle drei einen schlechten Tag. Natürlich werden wir wiederkommen. Nach Tx und zu Euch.
