For lunch, we had a small snack and a drink. We had a warm sandwich, which had plenty of options. Iced coffee. (Strong version) delicious and full of flavor, served plain. The interior looked great, with a wide selection of delicious and fresh dishes. We ate and drank outside on the terrace. (There's no service, so you have to serve yourself/pick up.)

We've been here several years ago. The selection is well-stocked, and there's something for every taste. What strikes me is that the place seems unkempt. Used tables haven't been wiped down, and various plastic signs spoil the ambiance.

We got breakfast there and thought we could have a nice breakfast, but that was disappointing. First of all, the bread was cold. I had the idea that we had been to Lidl. I advise everyone not to go there.

Bad food quality. I found the coffee un-drinkable (tastes like soap), the chocolate croissant and bread are chewy and not enjoyable. The cheesecake and “room taart” don’t have taste. Orange juice was good and fresh. Was a pity to give the whole tray back except for the juice. The price/quality ratio is very disproportionate

Normally I rarely write a review, but this time I was really disappointed. I went in the afternoon to get some pastries and did not have high expectations, but a simple cream pastry should not be a problem for a warm baker. The whipped cream was dried out and clearly showed separation; no silky, homogeneous mass and the slightly sour undertone betrays an incorrect storage or production temperature. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this pastry; the technique and fresh ingredients on which it is based are missing here.

When passing your shop in the shopping street I had already noticed your cozy "Terrace" and "Bakery shop". Also online your website looks neat and tidy, It is absolutely not your fault that I did not walk in and place an order. It is because "Bread" is certainly not at the top of my favorites list for breakfast and lunch, I only eat bread when I have no other choice. Also nice to see that as many local products as possible are used. I can only accept the average rating.

The marzipan pastry was so delicious that I bought another one the next day; exactly how good marzipan should taste. The chipolata pastry was also super delicious. Compliments!!

The quality as well as the entire offering can certainly be recommended. So far everything has been really good and the prices aren't excessive. However, if you go to the toilet before shopping, you will definitely think about buying something else. Absolutely underground.

I only had a cappucino. For €3.80 the quantity and taste was simply not enough for me. Otherwise there is a lot of choice, it was clean, lots of seating. The price - possibly due to the location - felt too high and for me there are better alternatives in de Koog.

Highly recommended! Delicious sandwiches, pastries, coffee and juices. You can sit comfortably in the tea room or on the terrace when the weather is nice. Would you rather take it with you? Then you can get all the tasty things packaged in the store.

Nice case, but very high prices. A cheese twister cost around €3.75. Young girl behind the counter was also not very friendly. My husband threw away his sandwiches because they didn't seem fresh, rock hard foccacia sandwich.

Four people had a drink with a pastry that cost 32 euros. The cappuccino was tasty, but the pastry was not that special, the apple pie was small and dry, only the chocolate pastry was tasty and worth the high price, and for this price you also have to collect and clear it yourself.

Omelette sandwich for breakfast. Was not fresh, but factory-prepared and warmed-up omelette with a dry, rubbery structure. A bit of a shame, you can have an omelet freshly prepared within a minute.

I picked up rolls a few days in a row...my family wasn't happy with the quality. The rolls are also extremely expensive. Pistolet over 1 euro. Then I tried the rolls at the Jumbo around the corner. Much cheaper and the quality is significantly better. No light air buns and full of flavor. Clearly the better baker here.

What happened to Timmer? A self-service shop without taste and atmosphere. The products such as coffee, cake and bread have become terrible. The staff is unmotivated. The services have become worse and more expensive.

We were here for the first time today and absolutely disappointed. The small (!) cappuccino cup was only half full, the cheese turnover was ice cold, tough and definitely not fresh (possibly even from the day before?) The apple turnover was also not tasty. In addition, the outside area was very unkempt, there was garbage and cigarette butts everywhere on the floor, and the tables were not clean. Absolutely not recommended.

Breakfast review: The prices are relatively high. Unfortunately, you only get dry rolls that are not even smeared with butter (i.e. without butter or anything similar). The salad is out of the bag and not fresh. The ingredients in general are not good. Here I'm not judging the taste, but the quality. The taste is not convincing due to the quality. If you want to pay a lot and get little, this is a good place for breakfast. I can’t say anything about “buying bread”.

First visit to Texel is always a coffee at Timmer, delicious!

We were very disappointed with the rolls. Very bad for a “real baker”. Hardly any taste and a consistency like rubber. The baked rolls from the discount store taste better and are crunchier too. We baked our own bread rolls for the rest of our vacation. They were way better than Timmer's, even though we don't do that often.

Café and bakery with high quality products at acceptable prices.

You can have breakfast here and, if desired, sit on the terrace. Placing an order is a bit confusing for the first time, but above all very expensive! Next time I'll look for a nice alternative.

Actually the only bakery on the entire island of Texel that you will find in almost every village. Tasty sandwiches and other sweets. Open early and always plenty of freshly baked sandwiches. In De Koog you can also sit comfortably with a coffee and a sandwich.

The quality of this business has deteriorated significantly in recent years. We have been coming to Texel for 18 years. This year very expensive, mediocre quality (fresh bread tastes old, and coffee dirty), and very unfriendly staff. First time a very expensive breakfast with bad coffee and old bread in the tea room. Our little one wouldn't eat the bread, and only ate the ham. Second time, after we had spent almost 10 euros on bread, and we wanted to sit on the terrace for a moment to give our toddler his sandwich, we were immediately asked to leave because in their opinion our sandwiches were 'to go'. Bij "echte" bakker Timmer kun je heerlijke verse broodjes kopen. Ook taarten en gebakjes zijn hier te verkrijgen. Wil je echt iets lekkers, dan is het een aanrader om hier iets kopen.

Mooie winkel. Vriendelijk personeel. En heel veel lekkers.

Echt lekker brood! Vers en kwaliteit! Wel echt retedruk in de winkel ‘s ochtends. Maar als je tijdens het wachten alvast een broodje oppeuzelt dan doen ze niet moeilijk. Gewoon lieve mensen dus. Maarre…. Wel netjes betalen!
