Last time I had to give a 1 star review because it was very difficult to ask whether vegan cooking was possible. You can now also come here as a vegan and that is very nice. As a Hoevelaker, it is nice to be able to occasionally return to places that you have fond memories of!

The food was good but the time choice around 6:00 PM is not pleasant due to noise nuisance from the church bell & the prices on the website still need to be adjusted.

An eatery that has its kitchen in order. A small menu but what appears on the table is correct. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and spontaneous. It is noisy, but that is part of the character of an eatery. The Foep Burger is of great class and is definitely worth the 20 euros. The amount of fries that comes with it is quite large. But here too, well prepared (not those limp colorless matchsticks) but nice and brown and crispy and almost salty with a tasty mayo on the side. In short, as it should be, but fewer and fewer eateries are doing it that way.

Had dinner at this establishment a few weeks ago and to be honest it was a bit disappointing, I'll explain why below. To start with, we were asked if we wanted a sandwich beforehand. We answered in the affirmative. Unfortunately, this sandwich never arrived, the first dish was immediately the main course, which we had ordered in advance with the sandwich. As a main course I had the fresh salmon. This was completely done when it was served. This made it quite dry and relatively tough. Considering it was one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, this should not be allowed. By the way, the dish was nicely prepared, see the photo. For dessert I had the chocolate trifle. This one was very tasty. For the rest, there is ample parking at this restaurant. In addition, the ambiance inside was also excellent. There was only 1 men's and women's toilet, so I can imagine that this could be a problem when it is really busy. All in all, I have a mixed experience.

I ate the Foepburger on Saturday October 21, which then gave me food poisoning. A shame because the restaurant was cozy and the food very tasty.

Pleasant crowds on this Saturday evening. Very friendly service in the restaurant, except the bartender. The food varied greatly. Some things were okay but lukewarm. Unfortunately the burgers were floating in the sauce. Quite pricey for what you get, but it is quite pleasant. Very noisy. Unfortunately we won't be back for the food.

Het eten was meer dan prima. De zelfgemaakte friet was uit de kunst. Niets meer aan doen. Het voorgerecht buikspek aan te raden en ook de spareribs. Het duurde wel erg lang voor het hoofdgerecht kwam en het hoofdgerecht kwam snel erna. Niet zo handig en de koffie hebben we toen maar overgeslagen.

Was vreselijk rumoerig kon geen woord wisselenmet vrienden . Bleef nietvd gezelligheid zitten. Eten sathe vonden we een 6,5 waard.

Ter ere van de verjaardag van mijn schoonmoeder het eetcafe afgehuurd voor de zondagmorgen (buiten openingstijd). Een heel lekker 7 gangs lunch genoten. Vlot bediend, eigenaar Andre weet er altijd een goede sfeer bij te brengen. De gerechtjes waren leuk opgemaakt en smaakten prima. Wij komen wel terug. (Overigens ook bij het belendende pannenkoekhuis van dezelfde eigenaar.)

Alles klopt, personeel eten en sfeer

Heel erg bedankt voor de gastvrijheid, het is duidelijk wat deze plek zo geweldig maakt, het personeel. We waren 1e keer klant en werden met open armen ontvangen, in tegenstelling tot "De Haen" en "De wiekslag" in het centrum dat ons beiden de toegang ontzegde voor geen reden. Ik zal hier zeker een vaste klant zijn. Oh en het beste......"Hertog Jan" op tap💪😜

Wat een verrassing is dit eettentje. Aan de voorkant lijkt het een bar. Eenmaal binnen super gezellig! Heerlijk gegeten, alles netjes op de borden, veel en super vriendelijk personeel. Echt super allemaal!

24-2-23 gegeten bij de Foep. Fantastisch en heerlijk gegeten. Voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht (sukade) en nagerecht (plaat appeltaart) alles top. Vriendelijke bediening en prettige sfeer, kortom een aanrader!

Heerlijk gegeten en bediening was ook erg vriendelijk. Ook heerlijke muziek, gezellig bijgekletst, ik heb een heerlijke avond gehad.

Van voren ziet het er niet erg aanlokkelijk uit, maar we hebben er even heerlijk gezeten.

Gisterenavond heerlijk gedineerd in de Foep. Hier wordt het woord Gastheer met hoofdletters geschreven. Genoten van het voorgerecht Buikspek een aanrader. Daarna de biefstuk super mals en prima bijgerechten. Alles weggespoeld met een door de Gastheer geadviseerde rode wijn. En dat alles tegen een redelijke prijs. Wat wil je nog meer, nou tzt weer eens terug voor een prettige avond.
