We had a wonderful meal tonight. A lovely menu with shared dining dishes, not the usual boring dishes you'll find everywhere. The service was very attentive, and the price-quality ratio was excellent. A quick tip: don't order too much per round; small dishes aren't so small :))

We had a delicious meal on Saturday evening, our favorite: mussels, which were really delicious.

We were pleasantly surprised by the chef...our ladies preferred a main course. The ice cream was also formidable as was the Irish coffee with a genuine bushmill in it. Oh yes, the wine from Puglia was also fine

Good restaurant where you can eat deliciously. Until recently only enjoyed the delicious ice cream of Coava. But since this week also the food. Delicious dishes, friendly staff and plenty of seating both inside and on the terrace in the evening sun outside.

Had a great dinner. Extensive menu for food and drinks. We enjoyed the shared dinner. Great, here diet is taken into account and I could indicate which dishes I cannot eat. Close to City Hall, free parking.

Very tasty and friendly staff! Just average priced. We were with a large group and it was a warm Saturday night. So the staff was busy with it and came an hour after ordering with the starter. Luckily it was cozy and we didn't notice, but we were offered a free ice cream from the ice cream parlor in advance. That's service!

Nice atmosphere, nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the service took a very long time to order. Unfortunately the food was not as expected, but certainly sufficient. Too bad that part of the menu + desert menu was not available. There were virtually no options left for desert, and getting an ice cream from the affiliated ice cream parlor was not possible. To do this, we had to join the queue that stretched outside the ice cream parlour. This is a shame if you are dining in the restaurant.

Had some trouble finding it, I thought it sounded strangely familiar, they called it something slightly different.

What a wonderful evening! Thank you for the friendly welcome, fantastic food and something for every taste, the dishes look beautiful and are prepared in an open kitchen that looks clean and professional. The cocktails and sangria were also very popular, but the fresh meat and delicious fish and vegetables were especially great. We will definitely come back again. On a late Wednesday afternoon we went to Nijkerk for lunch. Coava has good reviews and we went to try it. The food is delicious and the service is very attentive. The ice creams that you can get were also particularly tasty, according to the wife and child. There is also a play area inside which we only discovered after we wanted to leave, although many of the toys are for younger children.

Had lunch at Coava yesterday and although I never leave reviews, I'm happy to make an exception now. Because I had a wonderful lunch here. Brown carpaccio sandwich, really tasty! Compliments, it's been a long time since I ate such a delicious sandwich. And then a delicious ice cream... Highly recommended!!

Everyone didn't think the food was that great. Also don't recommend the schnitzel. Bland taste and not crispy, the spareribs also had a lot of strings in them

What a delicious meal we had here. We had the shared dining, and it was really tasty. Pre-made plank, varied and generous portions. The main course again 4x delicious dishes. Afterwards the dessert board with delicious coffee, guys, what a party. We roll out, delicious, sufficient, nice staff, fast service and serving in consultation. We enjoyed.

Recently had dinner here with colleagues. First we got someone else's order in front of us. In retrospect, we should have kept it, because there was something wrong with our own order. Four of us ordered the steak, varying between rare or medium. However, all 4 of us received an overcooked, tough, dry piece of meat on our plates; which was also impossible to get through with the 'normal', more than blunt knives (not even a steak knife, not even when we asked for one...?). Also, 2 of us had part of the meal missing from our plates (the potato pie). All in all, not a success and not recommended.

Starter was fine. However, after the starter we had to wait almost an hour for our main course. Glasses were constantly empty and we had to raise our hands every time to get attention from staff. When someone finally came to the table, they were not politely asked what they could do. He came to the table and said: yes? When we finally received our main course, we were anything but satisfied. The spareribs were really not good. The thick membrane was still there and the meat could not be removed from the bone. I couldn't even get through it with my knife. And you pay €32.50 for this! Reported this to the staff. As a 'solution' they removed two soft drinks and a specialty coffee from the bill. We will never go here for dinner again.

Top restaurant. Burgers very tasty. So is the dessert. The family enjoyed it. Keep it up.

Longest for coffee and apple pie. Coffee was good but very expensive. Apple pie was made of oats with a few apple strings on top. Reported that it was not tasty but the staff did not respond! Too bad, I left everything but paid for it!

Coava is my favorite place in Nijkerk. Always the tastiest coffee, carefully selected and roasted, always a wide choice of alternative milks. Food is also tasty. They make their own ice cream and it can be proven. 👌

Restaurant Coava Nijkerk is a restaurant in the center of Nijkerk. It is a mid-range restaurant. When you make a reservation, there will be a nice card with your name on the table. The restaurant is nicely decorated and on the back wall there is a dark mirror through which the person who normally looks at the wall can now look into the restaurant. The restaurant has a children's play area that can be very busy. If you don't have children with you, I wouldn't want a table near the children's play corner. The restaurant has an open kitchen. The menu is quite extensive. Unfortunately, the menu does not match the menu on the website. Inquiries show that the website contains a menu from 2023. I find this somewhat misleading because prices have risen. It can save €3.00 on a main course. The toilet room was not clean. The floor was quite sticky. Inquiries reveal that the night before there was a big party in a room at the back of the restaurant. The dishes are large and good. The staff are helpful and friendly.

This review is for the ice cream part. It always takes so long here. That could be a little faster per customer. The ice cream is quite okay

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Plenty of seating, but still spacious enough for 4 to eat quietly. The children were also satisfied. Food was very successful. The open kitchen is great. Also very friendly and smooth service! If we are in the area we will definitely return. Greetings from Belgium.

A first introduction to Coava was a pleasant one. Although the restaurant was not particularly full, there was a large group at the back that we didn't notice until they left the restaurant one after the other. Nice staff, delicious food. If I'm ever in the area again, Coava will be on the list for dinner.

It is a nice place, plenty of choice in terms of food and drinks, but the service of the staff really determines the atmosphere. I've been there a few times now but it's certainly not a favorite to go back to. This is the only "child-friendly place" in Nijkerk where there is a play corner, unfortunately this could not be used recently because it was used as storage.

It was a bit on the quiet side. Service was nice and fast, except for a few times. The food was excellent.

The four of us ate here. We were taken to our table, then we waited a while before someone came to ask what we wanted to drink, even though it wasn't very busy.

Coava is located in the center of Nijkerk, I often go there to get ice cream as it is the only place in Nijkerk that sells ice cream in the evening. The ice cream is very tasty and the atmosphere is also pleasant on the terrace. I have also had a drink on the terrace at Coava. However, the service is not great, not very friendly or helpful. I would therefore not necessarily recommend it for a terrace, but it is nice for an ice cream.

The Good is amazing. Especially the wagyu burger is fantastic . 10/10 can only recommend

Nice spot. Share coffee/restaurant with a specific ice cream part. At the back of the store there is a part where the kids (3 and 5) can play. Toys were mainly for the youngest. In the meantime we were able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

My first experience at Coava for dinner is that there is still room for improvement. Very friendly service and reception. The food itself could really be improved. Gravad lax no longer tasted like fish at all. Because of the beetroot inlay, you can no longer taste or recognize the salmon. A tablemate got the vol au vent, a pastry case with the lid still in it (how?) with a dollop of what was supposed to be ragout on top. It was really too thick, a bit like clay. However, the taste turned out to be good. The steak was perfectly cooked and super tender. The layout on the plates, which are too small in my opinion, just doesn't do justice! In summary: there is plenty of potential, but just focus on the kitchen brigade and you will be fine with Coava as a place to be.

Cozy place! Especially nice on a summer day is that it is nice and cool inside. The food was delicious, fresh and also beautifully presented. I would love to come here again! :)

This place has great ice cream.

Recently made a reservation for a table. Due to an event and crowds we could no longer eat there! Booked really bad. We went to another restaurant was no problem. Nice weather last Saturday, well you know what, let's give Coava one more chance, waited 15 minutes on the terrace and still no service!!! We were helped within 3 minutes. The owner is not a catering man and you can see that in the service! Never again coava for me!

High tea was quite pricey, children also pay full price. All sandwiches had mayo as a base. Far too strong a taste and you get tired of it, a lot was left behind. Cheese with mayo, ham with mayo. The best part was the soup! So not really special.

:) You can sit comfortably here, it is nice and spacious. The staff is friendly. If you have an intolerance, they can easily adjust the dishes. I have had lunch here 3 times already, it is very tasty and the lunch dishes have a nice presentation. Good taste with herbs and sauces. It is also beautiful and clean inside the restaurant. You can also see exactly what is happening in the kitchen and work hygienically with gloves. We will continue to come here as new regular customers. Because we are very satisfied

From the moment you walk towards the door you get the feeling that they are happy that you are there. Smooth service with very enthusiastic staff and last but not least, the food was delicious!!!

First of all, actually 4.5 stars. Half a deduction in the B grade because the burger buns were too hard. And the chef proves that he can do bread brilliantly with the starter of homemade bread with 3 dips. The Wagyu Burger is a poem in terms of meat and cheese and to the point. The truffle mayonnaise is great and the fries are great, as we expect from the Dutch. The service is at its best and the ambience is rustic and good. Prices are fair for what is done.

Just had a lovely lunch on the terrace. Friendly/fast service. The map is not large, but it is surprising. Nicely laid out plates and delicious food. We will definitely come back someday.
