April 12, 2025 ate for the first time. Food, service and ambiance are excellent. There was time to talk to “new” owners and staff. In one word, excellent. Jan and Marjoke Beverwijk.

New owners since 1 year. We had a delicious meal here, received a very hospitable welcome, nice outdoor area. Cozy furnishings. In short, great!

Had a delicious meal here tonight, baguette with starter spread, top burgers and a delicious dessert, in short, definitely worth repeating. The service was also great and the atmosphere was very pleasant!

It had been a while, because of the bad stories from the previous owner, we wanted to try it again. And I can only say that the new owner has succeeded in bringing back the old atmosphere. So we sat there with a smile. The menu is varied, simple but fresh. That's how it was before. The service is friendly, they come and ask if everything is to your liking. The owner is a good host. I recommend everyone to have a bite to eat here. We had a nice evening!

We were a bit early, but were received very hospitably. Cozy atmosphere, nice and warm and super sweet staff. 1st course we had the tasting. A mix of several starters, highly recommended. Delicious flavors together. 2nd course we had the mixed grill, a dish outside the menu. Juicy meat, with a tasty mix of vegetables and well-fried fries. With the fries we got a little Zaanse mayonnaise, a nice addition. Finally, a Dame Blanche and chocolate heaven. This was truly chocolate heaven! Service, atmosphere and food are well balanced and the price tag is even on the low side for this time. Highly recommended and we will definitely come again.

Na jaren weer de gok gewaagd om weer eens bij de Tamme Boer te eten. Geen spijt van gehad. De nieuwe eigenaren hebben de Tamme Boer weer positief op de kaart gezet. Chapeau!

Unfortunately there were sick people the evening we were there. Waiting times were long, the staff made the best of it. To compensate, we received a bottle of wine as a gift.

Had dinner here tonight via the social deal, but we were not treated as less because we came via the social deal. We enjoyed it. A very very good restaurant. The carpaccio beforehand was of excellent quality. The bread board was also original and delicious. We both had the chicken satay and it was fantastic. The dessert was delicious. Anderhalf uur gewacht tot de hoofdmaaltijd geserveerd werd. 18.15 uur besteld, 19.45 uur Pas begonnen met eten. Weinig voor heel veel geld. 4 Volwassenen, voorgerechten, hoofdmaaltijd en drinken, 170 euro. Kipsaté, 1 stokje, mixed grill ook niet heel veel, 35 euro. Restaurant zat wel helemaal vol uiteindelijk. Echter 1 jongeman in de bediening hele restaurant. Op zich wel knap. 2x Werd eten gebracht dat door andere klanten besteld was. Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Horeca staat wel onder druk, personeelstekort, alle ingrediënten duurder

The Tame Boer is back. The food is good, the wine also goes well together. Service is good. The prices are a bit on the high side. Example: Tiramisu at Damiano (Italian) €6.95 at De Tamme Boer €13. Main course prices are average. I find starters and desserts quite pricey. However, the food is delicious there.

Cozy cafe. Never before have I had chicken satay so tender. Delicious.

Great restaurant and value for money. A relief compared to the previous owner. The restaurant looks neat and the service is hospitable. Food quality is good. The decoration of the Restaurant could still be a bit cozy (ceiling and no curtains or the like) Satay and spare ribs were excellent with good wine and tasty draft beer.

When we heard that there were new owners in the business, we went inside again and it was definitely worth it. With just one leg over the threshold, the good atmosphere greeted us. We received a friendly welcome and it was teeming with familiar faces. Half of Krommenie seemed to have already found their way to this oasis of conviviality and good food. We were well and kindly looked after, had a delicious meal and walked home with an overall satisfied feeling. In our opinion, owners Mitchel and Sephanie have turned it into something beautiful. A cozy place where you can feel at home and enjoy a relaxing meal.

Voor het eerst weer bij de Tamme Boer in Krommenie met z’n vieren gegeten. We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en naar de gereserveerde ronde tafel gebracht.Het was niet zo druk en dat is jammer voor dit net geopende restaurant. We begonnen met een lekker drankje naar keuze en we kozen een broodplankje vooraf en voor het diner 2 keer de tamme burger en 2 keer de mixer grill. Alle menu’s waren keurig opgemaakt en netjes geserveerd. De burgers waren goed gebakken en met de zelf gemaakte eigen saus smaakte deze burgers heerlijk, ook beide mix grills smaakte zeer goed. Goed gebakken frietjes met gemixte salade erbij. Vriendelijk personeel en een goede en snelle service. Als dessert Scropinno, was heerlijk, dame blanche en voor 1 persoon een bolletje ijs. Als laatste nog 2 zwarte koffie en twee cappuccino’s,we hebben een leuke avond gehad en met een goed gevoel gingen we weg. Hier komen we zeker terug. Bedankt Tamme Boer het was prima verzorgd. Delicious food, the nice atmosphere of the past is finally back. Been twice in 1 week. The first time the salmon: perfect, not dry, good taste. Second time the satay: same story. Fine. Service attentive.

Tamme Boer 3.0 really deserves more attention and customers. Still carries the bad name from the previous owner. Now new owners who are really doing their best. Affordable food, good quality and friendly service. Chicken satay for under 20 and salmon for 22. Spare ribs also great. Fries are tasty and you get some salad with it. Then also Affligem on tap! Tamme Boer is back!

It was delicious and good service. We had the carpaccio and gambas piri piri as a starter and mixed grill as a main course. It was really tasty and the service was friendly.

Last night we had a delicious meal at the Tamme Boer on the sheltered terrace at the back. Service was smooth and attentive with personal attention for everyone. Food was very tasty and more than enough. Definitely worthy of its stars and highly recommended!

Had a wonderful meal with the four of us at the Tamme Boer! The restaurant recently changed ownership, so we were curious. With the nice weather we took a seat outside on the terrace. The service was friendly and from the carpaccio to the salmon fillet, the spare ribs and the trio of chocolate and truffles: we enjoyed it. Worth repeating!

Just had a delicious meal at De Tamme Boer. A good chicken fillet satay (I don't like chicken thigh and can hardly go anywhere for a tasty satay anymore, but here I do 😀) and my husband had sludge soles of which he said: 'I can't remember having eaten such tasty sludge soles'. So congratulations 🤩. Portions were large. So we'll be back 👋🏻

Delicious food! We have been there several times now and go home satisfied every time. Super nice to have such a new addition to Krommenie, we will definitely come back more often!

Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience was not what we had hoped for. I ordered a medium cooked steak, but it was served in a very raw ("very rare") state. It was awkward to ask for it to be cooked further after I had already taken a bite of it, because the chef should really know how long to cook a steak. This was not a case of “cooking it some more” – the steak was way too raw! In addition, the meat had an unpleasant, raw smell. The sauce served with the meat was also not good. The peppers in the sauce were burnt, which gave the sauce a bitter taste. At checkout we politely mentioned to the chef that the meat was raw. He just said that next time we should say something and he would put it back on the grill. Although he was right about this, I don't understand how the meat could be served so raw, especially considering that the restaurant was not busy at all. We paid around 65 euros in total, of which the steak cost 29 euros, probably the most expensive single dish on the menu. For that amount, I would have expected more attention to be paid to the meat. Finally, when we politely raised the issue, some people sitting at the bar – presumably acquaintances of the chef – responded with “drama”. This gave us the feeling that our feedback was not taken seriously.

Apparently new owners, and things have improved enormously. Rise above mediocrity, this is simply one of the better restaurants in the entire Zaan region. Four people sat down to eat, everyone left the table satisfied. We'll come more often!

Very good food. Very nice outside terrace. It's just a pity that when you sit on the outdoor terrace, a cool generator is continuously switched on. That's the only downside. For the rest a top tent.

Had dinner with the new owners today. A delicious tasting in advance, as a main course salmon with herb crust, spare ribs, fresh fries and salad. Everything was very flavorful and the meat was very tender. For dessert we enjoyed the home-made tiramisu. This was also very tasty. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

How wonderful to be able to eat well at the Tamme boer again now that there are new owners. A nice menu with something for everyone. I had a tasting beforehand, which was delicious. Main course: tenderloin…. super tender. The sole and salmon were also very tasty. The desserts also went down well. The service is very friendly. Bought cheese fondue via social deal. Delicious food, vegetables were crispy. The server asked several times if we had enough or if we wanted more. We had a nice time, dessert was also tasty.

Had a cheese fondue last week: Excellent cheese, excellent side dishes, excellent location, in short; entirely right. Oh yes, and that nonsense about a grumpy host; the man has a pleasant understated sense of humor that unfortunately, given the reviews, not everyone understands it...a shame.

We had a delicious meal at the Tamme Boer tonight. Start with a trio with tuna salad, soup and carpaccio. A delicious Schnitzel as a main course and an apple strudel for dessert. Too bad it wasn't that busy, the food won't be the fault. Highly recommended.

The host was a bit pushy and not very cheerful. The cheese fondue (via social deal) was tasty, but just too short, only 8 slices of baguette for 2 people, but also with tasty vegetables. But not worth repeating, also given by the host.

Wat jammer. Gezellig met zn tweetjes naar dit restaurant waar we langer geleden graag kwamen. Een norse niet een keer lachende bediening. Geeft aan dat dat komt omdat hij alleen is maar daar heb je als gast toch geen boodschap aan. Een beetje vrolijkheid hoort toch bij de experience. Heel jammer. Eten okay

Vreselijk, hadden we voordat we de kaasfondue social deal kochten maar even op deze pagina gekeken😞 Een bord te ver doorgekookte groenten voor de gesmolten kaas met wat broodjes en paar chipjes, 1x tientje waard, 3x 17,50 betaald. 5 euro extra nog voor minibakje patat.Locatie ook vreselijk. Koop geen social deal en ga niet!

Wij hadden afgelopen zaterdag kaasfondue met onze vrienden via sociaal deal. We werden bij binnenkomst naar ons tafeltje verwezen. Prima, de kaasfondue was best lekker, maar na een paar grapjes die onze partners probeerde te maken met de gastheer totaal geen feedback. De gastheer deed precies wat hem gevraagd werd. Maar dat was het ook. Op een complimentje of grapje kregen we totaal geen respons. Jammer, het kwam op ons eerlijk gezegd een beetje boers / onverschillig over. Jammer want een beetje gezelligheid van de gastheer had het sfeertje in het restaurant veel gezelliger kunnen maken. Wij hebben ons met elkaar prima vermaakt, maar dit had net de kers op de taart kunnen zijn.

Mijn vriendin en ik hebben hier heerlijk van de kaasfondue genoten. We hadden er op het eerst niet zo veel van verwacht, je ziet het niet zo snel kaasfondue in een eetcafe. Maar was echt heerlijk. Schaal met groente erbij, broodjes en nacho's. Hebben nog een keer het brood laten aanvullen en de kaasfondue. 2 heerlijke toetjes en een glaasje wijn. Goed gegeten voor een goede prijs. Ik heb er gisteravond gegeten en ik vond het net niet. Eten was oke , maar niet iets extra of zo. Gastheer was technisch oke en eten kwam op tijd maar hij voegde niets toe aan sfeer of je welkom voelen. Stelde zich niet voor, maakt niet echt contact, straalde geen plezier of passie uit. Alles eigenlijk een beetje vlak, gaf niks extra. Misschien is de manier waarop er gemaild wordt een goed voorbeeld van wat ik bedoel. Ik mailde netjes om te vragen of een nog een tafel beschikbaar was ( vroeger zat het nl stampvol) en kreeg letterlijk deze tekst: Oke tot vanavond. Waarom niet net iets meer moeite en aandacht zodat je je gewaardeerd/welkom voelt zoals bijv. Beste mevrouw van Bruggen ( je weet mijn naam gebruik hem dan ook) Fijn dat jullie bij ons willen eten ( waardering) We hebben nog een tafel beschikbaar en bij deze voor jullie gereserveerd. We zien jullie graag vanavond om 18.30 ( welkom voelen) En dat was eigenlijk bij alles zo. Heel jammer want ook voor service, welkom voelen, wat aandacht , vriendelijke gezicht ga je voor uit eten. Anders laat ik het wel bezorgen, want dit is eigenlijk wat de gastheer deed: het bezorgen van het eten en verder niets. Dus helaas kom ik er niet meer en raad ik heb ook niet aan. Jammer

Omdat dit restaurant in het verleden wel een goede naam had, hebben we hier via Social Deals voor 6 personen het 3 gangen keuze menu besteld. Wat meteen opviel was de bijzonder klantonvriendelijkheid van de persoon die in de zaak stond. Het was warm en wilden graag buiten zitten, maar dat was niet aan de orde. De stoelen waren nat en hij was niet van plan deze droog te maken. Dat was het toonbeeld voor de rest van de avond. Een norse grimmige man die vooral uitstraalt dat hij horeca helemaal niet leuk vindt en klanten al helemaal niet. Voor de prijs die we ervoor betaalden was het eten niet slecht, maar meer dan dat was het ook niet. Als dit restaurant niet heel snel wat aan de kwaliteit van het eten doet, maar vooral iemand in de zaak zet met gevoel voor horeca en klanten, is deze zaak geen lang leven meer beschoren. Ons zien ze zeker niet meer terug.

Bij deze plek kreeg ik geen warm welkom. Ik geloof dat de eigenaar aan het bedienen was en er kon geen lachje vanaf en elke vraag of bestelling leek te veel. Bij het opnieuw bestellen van een drankje kregen we geen nieuw glas en het nieuwe bier werd zelfs bij het oude bier in mn glas gegoten. Gelukkig was het eten heerlijk wat het allemaal goed maakte! Maar door service zal ik hier niet nog een keer terugkomen.

Heerlijk gegeten voor niet veel geld. Gezellig in de tuin gezeten, en lekker lang kunnen genieten. Daar houden wij van, niet snel 'afgewerkt worden '..Gert Jan onze gastheer, rent de benen onder zijn lijf vandaan, dat waarderen we óók. Wij komen zeker terug, aanrader dus..

Lekker gegeten, goede porties, goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, wel wat lang gezeten maar wat ons betreft niet storend, Gert Jan moest dan ook alles in zijn eentje belopen… Gewoon goed 😊

Helaas vergane glorie. Vroeger regelmatig geweest. Was altijd druk en het eten was goed. Via Social Deal hier weer eens gaan eten. Wat een teleurstelling. De zaak was ook zo goed als leeg op zondagavond. Ik snap nu waarom. Vooraf carpaccio. Kwam volgens mij uit de vriezer. De carpaccio van de supermarkt smaakt beter. Geen parmezaanse kaas, maar geraspte kaas zonder smaak. Weinig sla, 3 pijnboompitten en heel weinig carpaccio. Wat een aanfluiting. De kipsate was zonder vleesstructuur, de groente bestond uit een paar reepjes groente in zuur. De varkenshaas was droog en de "champignon" saus, kwam uit een zakje. De groente die bij de varkenshaas zat, was doorgekookt maar waarschijnlijk opgewarmd vanuit een kant en klaar zak uit de vriezer. De friet was hard en de wijn waterig. De cheesecake was niet vers gemaakt en de bodem smaakte naar karton. Dus waarschijnlijk was dit ook een diepvriesvariant. De dame blanche was ok maar niet bijzonder. De ober en/of eigenaar straalde geen horeca-ervaring/plezier uit. Het eten werd ook over de tafel heen geserveerd. De muziek bestond uit te harde Franse chansons. Tja, je moet ervan houden. Kortom voor ons was dit de laatste keer.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Eetcafé De Tamme Boer. De kaasfondue was erg goed.

Wij hebben hier vandaag gegeten. Via de telefoon laten weten dat wij verlaat waren en of we later konden aanschuiven.. De Gastheer was vrij kortaf en wilde snel ophangen. Meneer had al 3x Joe gezegd om op te hangen toewel wij onze vraag nog verder moesten stellen. Bij aankomst konden we zelf een tafeltje kiezen. Het eten was te doen niet slecht maar ook zeker niet bijzonder. (Onbeperkt Kaasfondue) De Gastheer was vooral bezig met zijn telefoon naast de bar en keek ook niet of hij er veel zin in had, Gaf kort antwoord en was niet gastvriendelijk. Toen we de rekening kregen schrokken wij ons een hoedje. Texels biertje (flesje) was lauw Rode wijn was mierzoet en voor dat kleine beetje is ruim 5 euro te veel. Komkommers en paprika waren slap De champignons waren 5 stukjes De 2e portie kaasfondue kregen we een half bakje kaasfondue en 6 stukjes stokbrood En de stokbrood leek wel oud en droog. Omdat er geen vlees bij de fondue zat. Adviseert de Gastheer de kipsaté. Overigens was achteraf 1 stokje 5 hele euro's. Met na druk op stokje. Al met al hadden wij voor dit gehele bedrag 3x thuis luxe kunnen Kaasfondue'en met alles er op en er aan! Tip voor de Gastheer: Wees wat vriendelijker en lach eens na de gasten!! Dan valt het bedrag misschien nog wel mee

De kaasfondue is een aanrader! Veel variatie om te dippen. Heerlijk.

Gemoedelijk en via Groupon voordelig lekker gegeten. Waarschijnlijk door personeelstekort af en toe even wachten. We komen nog een keer terug.

Friendly service on a Sunday night where it wasn’t too busy. Came in for some drinks only but decided to have some small bites and a dessert as well thanks to their flexibility. Saw some vegetarian (and possibly vegan) options on their menu, so maybe next time when around for a bigger appetite. We had a nice quiet evening here. Recommended.

Gewoon lekker blijven tappen. Saens biertje is top. Rustieke broodjes zijn lekker. Maar toch heb je niet het welkome gevoel. Niet teveel nadenken. Gewoon gaan.
