Had a delicious meal and very friendly service!!

We sat on the terrace here for a while during our 80km bike ride. We ordered a cappuccino/latte macchiato and apple pie. Highly recommended. Definitely not factory-made cake, and the coffee was nice and hot and delicious. The service is very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Smoking is not allowed on the outdoor terrace and the snacks ordered were overcooked and fried, not good, so we won't be going back. They used to be good and I used to go there often, but unfortunately...

We had a delicious meal. We were very curious if it would taste like in Thailand, and it absolutely did. Together with my husband's cousin, his Thai wife, and ourselves as Thai emigrants, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice eatery, good service. A keeper! Aroi Mâak!

We stumbled upon this place by chance on our bike ride along the Zuiderzee Route. Friendly service, despite it being busy with a full terrace and a fairly packed place. We were served quickly and the food was served fast too. Compliments to the chef and the waitresses. We had delicious spare ribs and a Thai beef dish. The food was very tasty and there was more than enough of it. At a friendly price. There are many Dutch and Thai dishes on the menu, but you can also get standard snack bar fare there. We think the place could have been bigger, though, as it just kept filling up. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for us in that area or just passing by like us.

We ended up here with a Dinner Voucher to eat Thai food. We sat in the conservatory and were served quickly. There was plenty of choice to discover Thai cuisine (also Dutch dishes, but that wasn't what we came for). All the dishes tasted perfect and were plentiful. We will definitely come back with friends. We would certainly make the drive through the polder from Hilversum just for this. You can also find great lunch options here. We experienced that recently.

Nice place to see two cuisines come together: Dutch and Thai. Both of good quality. Definitely recommended and worth doing again. The pork belly was definitely recommended.

We were having lunch today. The food was very authentic Thai cuisine and very delicious. We can only recommend the food here. The food was very delicious. I recommend the crispy pork stir-fry with basil and the crispy pork stir-fry with kale; they were incredibly delicious, just like eating in Thailand! 👍🇹🇭

We had tomato soup with a roll; the roll was impeccable, but the tomato soup does not deserve that name. Not recommended.

We wanted to order a cup of coffee with pastry but were not given the chance. The older waitress had already taken orders from two couples who arrived after us and had already delivered them, but she didn't look at us. Because we thought she hadn't seen us, I went inside to ask if we could order there. She gruffly said she would be with us shortly and waved her hand for me to go outside. However, it took a while. When she came back outside, she went to one of the tables and brought a pastry. Once again, she didn't look at us and went back inside. We waited another 5 minutes and left. If you are not welcome here, you are better off going somewhere else where that is the case. Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star, which is still too much.

We spontaneously went for dinner at Ootje Eppie today. It was a good thing we called ahead, because the rest of the restaurant was full, but it had a very cozy atmosphere! The food was super tasty and the portions were good. The menu was also extensive enough. The service was very friendly and personal; they even helped us choose a dish, as Thai cuisine wasn't that familiar to us yet. Definitely recommended!

Yesterday night by invitation of friends we dined for the first time at this venue. It is an amazing Thai culinary experience. The food is perfect and so real both in flavours and presentation. Let alone the service staff, be not only very professional, attentive but also funny. If you want a Thai experience in the midst of a small village in the polder, you are at the right place.

The food and drinks were very good. The service was friendly... however, we had to remind people about drinks we ordered, which resulted in them being billed twice and also charged twice. We only noticed this on the ferry, though... Because the outdoor area faces the street, it was quite noisy at times due to farm vehicles. However, since we were impressed by the food, we're giving this café a second chance.

During a bike ride, I sat here for a while on the terrace. Delicious apple pie and cheesecake. There's plenty to see on the pleasant terrace. I didn't go inside.

Unfortunately, not a good review. We were at the campsite, so we cycled to get some delicious Thai food. First disappointment: it was ready in 1.5 hours (and we'd ordered two stir-fries, nothing fancy). Excuse me... if you eat at the restaurant, you shouldn't have to wait that long... But there wasn't much else nearby, so we returned to the campsite where we were called after about 45 minutes to say it was ready (poor timing). We picked it up, and unfortunately, it turned out we weren't getting two fried noodles, but one noodle and one rice. A shame, because we paid about 4 euros extra for two small bowls of rice and noodles each. It wasn't clear on the menu that you had to buy this separately. And while it was good... meh... a bit bland, but otherwise decent. In short, we wouldn't recommend it, because a hefty 46 euros for two plastic containers with meat, vegetables, and some rice/noodles is far too expensive in our opinion. Unfortunately...

Fantastic Thai food. The Tòm khàa kài soup and Kaeng mátsàmàn are absolute highlights. The Dutch cuisine next door is also very tasty. Also nice to pick up if you are sailing in the area.

Nice and cozy restaurant. The owner is always there cooking with his Thai wife. They have a very large menu with both Dutch and Thai dishes. These people really work with love in the kitchen to make it perfect for the customers.

Delicious and real Thai food (we came to Ootje Eppie in Eemdijk specifically for this). They also have Dutch and Vega on the menu. We were not disappointed. Smooth and friendly service. Atmospheric ambiance. Really surprising and delicious dishes for a very reasonable price. As a super ending, the dessert: "Ootjes slokkie" ice cream with a liqueur.

Had very tasty Thai food there. A terrace in the evening sun is wonderful in August! Very friendly staff, I was even allowed to charge my motorcycle communication outside! The pandan (ice cream) dessert was also a real treat and the coffee was also very good!

Nice terrace, lots of cyclists. No busy traffic along the terrace. Disappointing Thai-Dutch cuisine. Price-quality ratio is out of balance. When booking by telephone, it is stated that no reservations are made for the terrace. While some tables have been reserved outside upon arrival. A very moody older woman cannot handle the orders. Serves latecomers earlier than those who arrived earlier. And completely forget about others. Responds very unfriendly when asked where the order is. Bye, get going, continue cycling.

Had lunch here on the terrace today. Simply eaten with 2x a croquette on bread and a milkshake. Nothing special, but good. What struck me was the young man's service. So patient, friendly and good at keeping an overview. It was very busy and he received many orders. We would love to come back for Thai dinner!

Speciaal voor kleinzoon die zijn 16e verjaardag vierde wilden we geen hamburgerlunch. Dus Thais en dan van alles op tafel zetten en dat met elkaar delen. Wat een genot. Met zijn 4en 3 hoofdgerechten en 5 Thaise snacks. En als toetje nog een keer de viskoekjes. Vriendelijke behulpzame bediening. Voor herhaling vatbaar en die 8.5 in de Gooi en Eemlander klopt helemaal.

A great cafe with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Went with my sister-in-law last Wednesday and had such a delicious meal that I had lunch there with my husband today. With a friendly lady and waitress Eva it was a fantastic lunch. A delicious roll with salmon and Thai rice with large shrimps. An excellent cafe that we will definitely visit again soon. A very good grade, the newspaper's editors gave them an 8.5, and we gave them a 10.

Unexpectedly, via the ferry, we ended up at Ootje Eppie. The terrace beckoned, so we sat down for a drink. After looking at the lunch menu, I ordered something. Fried rice with egg and large shrimps (really tasty) and a vegetable omelette with jasmine rice (one of the few vegetarian options, but tasty, according to our table companion).

We gingen hier lunchen. Ik zelf eet glutenvrij. Geen glutenvrij brood wel wat Thaise gerechten. Keuze was voor mij summier. Redelijk gegeten. Ik las de recensies en zelf vond ik echt minder. Verder wel relaxed zitten buiten. Bediening was prima.

Fish was way too salty. I did not continue eating and immediately told the waiter. Answer: I will pass it on to the kitchen. After that nothing happened anymore. I ate 1/4 of the fish and had to pay half. I would have solved that differently myself.

One of those places you make a detour for. Good food, friendly staff and reasonable price. The Chicken Satay certainly deserves a special mention, top product!!
