I recently got a chicken curry sandwich and got food poisoning 4 hours later. I'll never get it from here again, that disgusting place!

Truly the worst thing I have ever eaten, it was dry, little taste and it was simply inedible.

The food wasn't very tasty, a bit dry, but I understand why it has such a low price.

I ordered and collected food from their takeaway (the actual cafe/dining area) was closed. The poor woman had almost no staff due to illness so we had to wait quite a while but it was worth it! Absolutely delicious food.

The lamb sandwich was good to eat, not a lot of content but it was also not crazy expensive like some places are these days

The food was incredibly bad, very dry and soggy. Furthermore, the service wasn't great; the staff seemed disinterested. The atmosphere was also terrible, with animals suddenly hanging around the tables, looking quite pathetic in the heat. The interior also smelled quite bad. I wouldn't go back.

A good thing fresh food for €10,- you get 2 sandwiches and drinks, taste the Surinamese taste again and enjoy it, you can also sit outside on the terrace or inside

You pay €20 for a chicken curry sandwich, roti roll, and chicken curry sandwich. The roti roll contains three pitiful, small pieces of chicken, and the chicken curry sandwich is stingily topped. When you call to report this complaint, a snarky woman answers the phone and says she's generously topped the sandwich. No apology. But in an arrogant tone: "Better luck next time. There won't be a next time." Strange people. Exploiters.

Absolutely the best roti in the area! No sugary junk, just roti as it should be. Very satisfied with the service. We requested extra chicken breast and were called to check if we agreed to the price. More than enough and to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Great for dining both indoors and outdoors. You can even rent a space here! Think birthday celebrations, etc. Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.

Never get your filled sandwich or bara here because the contents of your sandwich or bara make no sense at all. How dare you put so little meat/fish in the sandwiches and Baras. The bara also comes straight from the microwave, it's really hard to taste! But coming back to the contents of the sandwiches, I think there were 10 very small pieces of chicken in the sandwiches and Baras. And the fried cod in the sandwich was also so poor! Do you use tea spoons instead of tablespoons to fill the sandwiches? Everything tasted like the bakkeljauw, which means that you use the same spoon of the bakkeljauw in the chicken! This fake store is a big mistake if you ask me.

Never had such a bad meal before. Soato soup doesn't taste like anything, it looks like water with ketjap. The nasi tastes like a jar of 5 spice herbs. What a waste of money, do something about the price list, because it is completely out of proportion!

The Eetcafé in Prins Alexander in Rotterdam is a place with a takeaway restaurant to the left of the entrance. They are mainly focused on Surinamese cuisine and the people who work and cook there are good at that. They also deliver the food to your location via home delivery. Eating a Rotti Chicken is a wonderful experience. The food is normally priced at 11 euros and you get a generous amount of Chicken Curry with vegetables for the plate. We hebben hier fantastisch gegeten. Nasi en bami, maar dan bereid op traditionele Javaanse cq hindostaanse wijze. Lekker kruidig. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent. De sfeer in het eethuisje is wel bijzonder. Naast een barrertje staan er een aantal tafeltjes, maar er staan ook andere zaken die worden gebruikt als de ruimte als zaaltje wordt verhuurd. Daarnaast hangen er een paar vogel kooitjes met Surinaamse vogels. In de hoek staat een beeldscherm waar de zoon van de eigenaar spelletjes zit te doen. Het uitzicht is minder omdat het eetcafe aan een drukke straat ligt met veel bedrijfspanden. Kortom, geen doorsnee sjiek restaurant, maar wel een authentieke sfeer. Met heerlijk eten en gezelligheid. Daarom per saldo 4 sterren toegekend.

Goed Hindoestaans Surinaams eethuisje verborgen in oosten van Rotterdam. De sauto en roti zijn heerlijk! Een tip vul de broodjes iets meer, verder is alles hier meer dan prima!

Net 3 veg - roti besteld met groente zag goed uit en lekker. Ze waren alle 3 anders via de telefoon afgesproken ,Aardig aan de telefoon , Het duurde wel wat langer nu ,Ik maak me daar niet druk om ,Ik hoefde niet weg , Wat ik jammer vond ,pindasaus in klein bakje had iets groter gemogen Aardig aan de deur . Ik heb lekker gegeten .mm

De mensen zijn vriendelijk, ik had een broodje bakkeljauw, die smaakte beter dan de vorige keer ,die was niet echt lekker nu was het beter

Suriname georiënteerd snackbar en afhaal, met als basis de Surinaams Hindoestaanse keuken. Gerund door aardig personeel. 3 sterren omdat mijn review gebaseerd is op maar 2 broodjes die ik gehaald hebt. Broodje kip kerrie en lever was goed. Rianter beleggen zou wel mooi zijn voor de smaak beleving. Kom er zeker terug en dan ga ik voor een nasi en een telo. Review wordt vervolgd..........

Ik heb heerlijk gegeten,die roti rol was zo lekker vergeten een foto van te maken. En Doksa(Eend) in Kerry met witte rijst,lekker heet!🌶😋 Heerlijk!!👍

Aan de telefoon aardig ,Eten laten bezorgen ,Vriendelijk , 2 veg -roti besteld Even wennen wat ik zag ,Bruine stukje Geen vlees .Maar was wel lekker (Omdat ik veg - had besteld . Hete gele sambal . Ik heb lekker gegeten De jongen die het kwam bezorgen had handschoenen aan .Super In deze tijd .

In tegenstelling tot sommige reacties hieronder heb ik toch ook vandaag weer heerlijk gegeten! Eigenaar is ook gewoon aardig en spontaan en eigenaresse is echt een top mens. Altijd aardig en vrolijk..Bedankt voor de extra peper waar ik om gevraagd had..Heb echt genoten van de doks en nasi moksi..Geloof mij als het mij niet bevalt heb ik ook mijn mondje wel bij me, maar tot nu nog niks slechtso p aan te merken!👍🏻👊🏻

Vandaag voor het eerst laten bezorgen. Erg lekkere saoto soep, genoeg voor 2 dagen. Ook de roti rol was goed. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Fijn dat er hier iets zit, handig als je op het bedrijventerrein werkt aangezien de andere opties allemaal nog best een stuk lopen is. De qualiteit is wisselend maar over het algemeen goed, sinds kort verkopen ze ook Ben en Jerry ijs. De prijzen zijn redelijk.

Goed voedsel, was goed vertoeven.

Heerlijke saoto soep! Haal of bestel het altijd hier & heeft me nog nooit teleurgesteld. Je krijgt ook een grote portie waar ik vaak nog een tweede dag van kan eten! Wel jammer dat bij bestellingen vanuit krimpen aan den ijssel het minimum €20,- is.
