No place in Amsterdam has better ribs than they do. A real Amsterdam atmosphere with delicious cuisine. Highly recommended.

We are really disappointed. Our order came in more than 1 hour later but nobody cared and gave excuses. We ordered without bacons but it came in with bacons

We are the "hungry and thirsty cycle tourists" and yes we are leaving you a review! We could not have enjoyed our evening more. From the moment we arrived, and were personally greeted, given the alleged best table in the house (we agree!) and served absolutely sensational bottomless ribs, everything was just perfect. We weren't sure which establishment in Amsterdam was going to serve up the best ribs, but I think we found it. Three different flavours, we tried them all - the Asian style were our favourite - absolutely lekker! Looks like a lovely bar/pub to have a drink at as well, even if you don't go for dinner. Not many reviews have mentioned that before, so I will. Thank you for making our evening so bloody brilliant. We will be back :)

The spare ribs were simply incredible. Honestly, they were the best I've ever eaten. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The Asian ribs and fries are very delicious! The meat was falling off the bone, as it should. We loved the spicy mayo they give on the side.

We were there with 11 people. That is possible as long as it is not in the evening. Normally, the maximum for groups is 8 people. We had a delicious meal there and the service was very good. We wanted for nothing. I had the spare ribs... delicious. The meat just slid off the bone. The fries were tasty too. The other people who were with me all enjoyed it. All in all, highly recommended... They might see me coming back again soon.

Ordered the Black Angus beef 200g with onion rings and Fries. It did not disappoint, very tasty and juicy, had a peppercorn sauce and was one of the best iv had in a while. My mates had a burger and 3 others the Ribs, all looked and tasted very good they said. Would definitely be coming again 👍 No pictures this time..

Our experience at Het Pakhuis was a real winner. The food was adequate. We had the spareribs and they were fine. The service could be a bit more relaxed, which would improve the atmosphere. All in all, a solid pass.

We saw this place mentioned in Instagram having great ribs. We went and it happened to be on a Wednesday when it's all you can eat. The first order of ribs was way more than needed and did not go for more. They were excellent. They have a limited number of beer taps but the beer was good. The background music was so quiet that it was very easy to talk. It has a really nice atmosphere.

The waiter (short and older) was very unpleasant if you don't speak Dutch and have difficulty making yourself understood in English. We had booked through Google and weren't asked for our name, but when we showed him our reservation confirmation, he got angry and asked, "What name?" We explained that we hadn't been asked for it, but he shouted loudly, "WHAT?" Then he sighed and pointed at a table without showing us to it. After a lovely waitress took our order, he came back to take it. Given the enormous noise in the restaurant, my husband tried to explain in a few words of English that it had already been done, and again, he displayed annoyance, sighed, and went to talk to another colleague in our ear while staring intently at us! We felt judged and unwelcome! I later read comments from several French people who had experienced the same thing. The food was good, it's a shame we'll never come back with such a chauvinistic waiter... Tourism is a major source of income for businesses... so why keep people like that?

What an incredibly nice, truly Amsterdam spot! You feel welcome immediately. The atmosphere is cozy and very approachable, exactly what you hope for when you reach your final destination for the day after a long day of strolling through Amsterdam. The service is friendly, cheerful, and attentive. You’re also in the right place here with children. They are sweet and patient, which always makes it pleasant when you go out for dinner. Wow... and the food! We ordered unlimited ribs 4 times. They advertise the “best ribs in town,” but as far as I’m concerned, they could easily change that to the best in the province; that is how good they really are. All in all, a place we would love to return to. Definitely recommended!

We had a very good meal; the portions were generous. The atmosphere was subdued, but some customers were laughing a bit too loudly for our liking. The waitresses were pleasant, but the waiters, on the other hand, didn't seem too keen on trying to understand us, instead shouting "What?" Otherwise, I recommend it.

No second time here!!!! Meager portions, no vegetables, a cone of fries has to be shared... Make the prices even higher and serve at least something decent—that is my advice to 't Pakhuis!

Ribs all you can eat were super tasty. Although, the wait between the rounds was sometimes a little long to be honest. We got in 4 rounds and went over time, which made it a long dinner for those on table who weren't doing the all-you-can-eat. But they were nice and hot every time, so can't complain about quality and taste! Nachos and cheesecake were also great. Atmosphere was lively and cosy, considering it was a wednesday too.

This place deserves 6*. The best place we ate during our trip to Amsterdam. If you are looking for a restaurant to have lunch or dinner, relax a bit, wine down from a busy day, this one is perfect. Great food and a must-visit spot in Amsterdam. They offer all-you-can-eat ribs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—definitely worth timing your visit for that. I went in without having lunch, expecting to make the most of it, but the portions were so generous that I didn’t even need to order more despite the unlimited option. 10/10 experience. I visited Eetcafé 't Pakhuis after seeing it on Instagram, and overall, the experience was just okay. We ordered ribs and chicken satay. The food was decent, but it didn’t live up to the “best in the city” claim. It wasn’t bad by any means, but we’ve definitely had more flavorful and better-prepared versions of these dishes at other restaurants. The atmosphere was a bit of a mixed experience. It was quite noisy for a lunch setting, and the space felt a bit too dark for my taste. That said, there were some nice paintings that added a bit of character to the place. Overall, it’s an average spot—worth trying if you’re curious, but it may not fully meet expectations set by social media.

The place also claims to have the best ribs in town, but honestly, I had better ribs elsewhere in Amsterdam just a day or two before, so that statement did not match my experience. The atmosphere was also a bit too cramped and dark for my taste. Everything felt packed into a very tight space, and instead of cozy, it felt a little suffocating. So overall, not terrible, but not a place I would personally return to.

We had a delicious meal at 't Pakhuis in Amsterdam. We both had a steak with peppercorn sauce and dessert. The steak was really superb. The service and staff were very hospitable. Highly recommended if you are ever in the area.

The menu is excellent, everything is delicious, but I was very disappointed with the service! The staff is rude! If you don't care about the service and the main thing is a delicious meal, this is a good place, but if you don't want to be treated like a waiter, it's better to choose another place.

They advertise heavily online with their all-you-can-eat spare ribs for three days, and they don't even have any.

Yesterday, I went for dinner with my daughter at Eetcafé Pakhuis, and we had a wonderful experience. My daughter chose the Asian-style spareribs, and I went for the Caesar salad. Both dishes were truly delicious. The spareribs were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and fell right off the bone, exactly as you would hope. My salad was also fresh and well-seasoned. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely be back here again!

The food was delicious, I ate (too) much, and I had tears in my eyes from laughing!! The authentic Amsterdam staff is a breath of fresh air compared to many other restaurants where you're spoken to in English and laughter seems forbidden...

The menu doesn’t specify whether the ribs are beef or pork. So we ask the waiter and he says pork, so I say “okay I’ll need some time to think about what to order” and then the waiter complains about why we called him if we weren’t ready. Another waiter was also rude. Secondly, the menu said all main courses come with salad and fries. However, when they bring out the food they say “oh it’s only 1 set of fries per 2 main courses”. The food was also small in portion size and the fries sucked. Go McDonald’s instead of here.

Don't fall for their tricks! The food is mediocre and the service is bad: 1. They have you wait for a very long time between the unlimited ribs servings. You have to ask repeatedly and they will respond that they have made a mistake and that it will be there ASAP (which will still take very long) 2. For a "vaasje" of beer you have to pay more while it's the exact same amount as the "fluitje" of beer, ie both 200ml (using the Bierwinst glasses)

We discovered this restaurant through TikTok. We were two couples. Incredible atmosphere, very welcoming space. We ordered ribs and they were divine, all you can eat for a fair price. They were flavorful and cooked to perfection, falling apart when taken off the bone. It's undoubtedly an excellent choice. Hugs from Portugal 😁

Last Friday, my eldest daughter and I went to 't Pakhuis again after a day of shopping! We ordered the shrimp and Vitello Tonnato as a starter, followed by Asian Ribs Asian Style and the steak. Everything was SUPER! Tender, fresh, and very flavorful. It was a perfect ending to a fun day, just the way it should be! Thanks to Frank and the 't Pakhuis team for their hospitality! See you soon. We had a fantastic meal as a tryout for our farewell party for our hospitality business, which we're closing after 11 years. We saw it on TikTok, so we went on a Wednesday on spec, but little did we know it would be this busy! Luckily, there was still one table for two available. Our extremely friendly waitress, Jana, was fantastic, and even though it was busy, she took the time to inform us about the options for our company dinner. There are plenty of staff, which is a good thing when it's so busy, so she was able to do that too. It's important in the hospitality industry to give your guests attention, and she did just that. We'll be back with our staff and have a delicious meal here. The spareribs are fantastic, the atmosphere is excellent, the decor is really cozy, and the prices are reasonable by Amsterdam standards!
