Incredible restaurant with really the best in town ribs. 'All you can eat' is a must and I assure you will have an incredible experience. I will never forget this place! Staff is so friendly and fast and prices are very good!

Found this gem on instagram prior to our trip from South Africa, Cape Town. Their ribs exceeded every expectation and the service and atmosphere was amazing!

Very disappointed with the ribs, don't be fooled by social media reviews of this restaurant, the meat doesn't come off the bone, you have to use knives... I'm giving 2 stars for the friendly service and atmosphere, but the meat is not of good quality at all.

A truly memorable experience. The spare ribs were absolutely delicious in every variation. My personal favorite was the classic sauce. All you can eat for around €25 seems almost like a bargain, especially considering the quality. The ambiance is simply incredible. An absolute must-visit in Amsterdam. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious, I ate (too) much, and I had tears in my eyes from laughing!! The authentic Amsterdam staff is a breath of fresh air compared to many other restaurants where you're spoken to in English and laughter seems forbidden...

The menu doesn’t specify whether the ribs are beef or pork. So we ask the waiter and he says pork, so I say “okay I’ll need some time to think about what to order” and then the waiter complains about why we called him if we weren’t ready. Another waiter was also rude. Secondly, the menu said all main courses come with salad and fries. However, when they bring out the food they say “oh it’s only 1 set of fries per 2 main courses”. The food was also small in portion size and the fries sucked. Go McDonald’s instead of here.

Quality food and very kind staff

Don't fall for their tricks! The food is mediocre and the service is bad: 1. They have you wait for a very long time between the unlimited ribs servings. You have to ask repeatedly and they will respond that they have made a mistake and that it will be there ASAP (which will still take very long) 2. For a "vaasje" of beer you have to pay more while it's the exact same amount as the "fluitje" of beer, ie both 200ml (using the Bierwinst glasses)

We discovered this restaurant through TikTok. We were two couples. Incredible atmosphere, very welcoming space. We ordered ribs and they were divine, all you can eat for a fair price. They were flavorful and cooked to perfection, falling apart when taken off the bone. It's undoubtedly an excellent choice. Hugs from Portugal 😁

Last Friday, my eldest daughter and I went to 't Pakhuis again after a day of shopping! We ordered the shrimp and Vitello Tonnato as a starter, followed by Asian Ribs Asian Style and the steak. Everything was SUPER! Tender, fresh, and very flavorful. It was a perfect ending to a fun day, just the way it should be! Thanks to Frank and the 't Pakhuis team for their hospitality! See you soon. We had a fantastic meal as a tryout for our farewell party for our hospitality business, which we're closing after 11 years. We saw it on TikTok, so we went on a Wednesday on spec, but little did we know it would be this busy! Luckily, there was still one table for two available. Our extremely friendly waitress, Jana, was fantastic, and even though it was busy, she took the time to inform us about the options for our company dinner. There are plenty of staff, which is a good thing when it's so busy, so she was able to do that too. It's important in the hospitality industry to give your guests attention, and she did just that. We'll be back with our staff and have a delicious meal here. The spareribs are fantastic, the atmosphere is excellent, the decor is really cozy, and the prices are reasonable by Amsterdam standards! This is truly a city where you can enjoy food, atmosphere and impeccable service. We were a team after work on Monday, so we took the unlimited offer of ribs for 25 euros. When the portions were brought, we were a little pleasantly shocked 😁… And when it turned out that the ribs were super tasty and had a lot of tender meat, we were amazed a second time 😁. Of course, beer went well with such ribs🍻. They also brought us several portions of fries with the ribs. I would like to say a special thank you to the guys who served us! Thank you! They saw everything and were always in touch with us. Special thanks to the guys from the kitchen for their masterpiece of ribs. I will definitely come back here and definitely recommend it to my friends. In total, 25 euros for ribs + ~25 euros for beer. If you go with a girlfriend/wife, one portion of ribs may be enough for two. P.S. Only two out of five were able to order the extra free ribs and only because they simply wanted to try other flavors. And so we just rolled out of the place overflowing😁 We were here again with friends in the fall! Thank you for everything being great again!!

The restaurant is cozy and has a nice feeling. However we waited for the main course for a good hour on a Monday evening. The staff was super friendly but the food all in all was not worth the waiting time unfortunately.

My partner and I ordered a combined meal that was supposed to come with chips as this was clearly advertised in their menu of the day. When they didn’t arrive, we politely asked why they were missing, after some witty back and forth, the obnoxious male waiter came and slammed them down like he was doing us a huge favour. The constant glaring made us feel completely unwelcome, and as a couple of colour, it was hard not to feel singled out. The steak was good, pity it was served with a side of attitude. We won’t be coming back.

The atmosphere is cozy and lively, capturing a nice Amsterdam local vibe with friendly and sometimes humorously candid staff. Their online booking system is dumb, we couldn't book a 7 person table so we had to wait. The menu offers ok value for money with hearty, well-prepared dishes. The spare ribs seemed like a gimmick for dumb tourists but it was actually really good. Nice casual and relaxed environment that’s perfect for a night out or casual dining, pub like vibe, a bit on the noisy side. The place can get very busy, leading to wait times for seating and food, but many feel the food quality justifies the wait. Or just book ahead. We had a great evening and reccomend it.

We ate here last Friday, and the service was friendly; they at least spoke Dutch and were actually quite attentive. That's how it should be. We enjoyed butter-tender Black Angus beef after a delicious smoked salmon with cocktail sauce and brioche, all for a reasonable price. A real reason to go back again.

A small group of us came here for a birthday for all-you-can-eat ribs. The service was slow to begin with but all the staff were friendly, playful, and contributed to a great atmosphere. Our waiter was excited to see how we were getting through our meal, congratulating us with the progress we had made haha. They even saw flowers and asked whose birthday it was then gave a hand written birthday card - very thoughtful and attentive. The food was great and they even let us takeaway what we couldn’t finish with the mindset that they’d rather us eat it than it go to waste. A great experience.

Thought it had become expensive

Unfortunately, despite explaining my allergy concerns, the staff completely ignored them. We received burgers containing all the allergens. The service after ordering was also far too slow for just two burgers and a small portion of fries for two people. In the end, there was no apology and no discount… just a hastily remade burger. Neither my son nor I could digest it. It's a shame, as we went there with high hopes based on the Google reviews.

Cozy atmosphere and very tasty food!

Okay, a huge recommendation: the macho nachos. The most delicious nachos I've ever had, compliments to the chef! The burgers were delicious too 😊 And all for a reasonable price and in a cozy cafe!

Wanted to make a reservation for 11 people (family dinner) but it is not really possible, let alone to reach them, the phone is not answered or is constantly busy And not to mention the food Here it is just eat and leave After an hour and a half you have to or they would rather see you leave Nooooo we will go eat somewhere else where you can sit with 11 people for a nice evening In any case not at the Pakhuis in Amsterdam pfffffff very unfortunate

Eetcafé 't Pakhuis is a reliable spot for good spareribs. I come here often, and the quality is always consistent. The meat is very tender, and the glaze, which is both sweet and slightly spicy, has a nice grilled crust. The fries and accompanying sauces are excellent and complete the meal. If you're in the mood for good, flavorful spareribs, 't Pakhuis is an excellent choice and I highly recommend it.

We had unlimited spare ribs both classic and hot Smokey. Personally I love the hot Smokey better it is juicy. Tender. I saw the Asian style is good too. We had only two racks, no more. Too full.

Reservations are highly recommended. And a visit is 200% worth it. The 1.5m spare ribs are incredibly delicious and fall-off-the-bone to perfection. The location is super cozy, and the service is impeccable.

This place is beautiful, the food is good but unfortunately it is not a real all you can eat because when you made an initial reservation they then brought small portions hours later.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and had made a reservation for 6:30. We ordered our main courses at 7:00. When we asked about our food at 8:00, we were told it would only be a few more minutes. Unfortunately, it took until 8:30 to get our food. The food was delicious, and because we'd waited so long, they assured us we'd get something on the house. We were expecting a few drinks or a free dessert, but after finishing our last cup of coffee and asking for the bill, we were stunned. We didn't have to pay the entire bill! It was so incredibly kind and amazing that they did this! I would 100% come back here again for the delicious food and great service! Special thanks to Danny :)

The ribs are very good and unfortunately we were not able to take a second round since there was a problem in the kitchen. However for this inconvenience the didn’t charge us the drinks. I highly recommend this place for the ribs promo and the kindness

The classic rib was quite good. I ordered Mon-Wed all you can eat, and the quantity was crazy big from the first serving. Not necessary I was full with it but that was too much meat to eat a lot. It’s cheaper than normal portion anyway so pair it with beer and other drinks, enjoy your dinner slowly to eat more :)

I went to try the famous unlimited ribs. I'll start by saying that ribs aren't my favorite food, and the few times I've eaten them, I've never been truly satisfied. But here, I changed my mind. I chose the classic barbecue ribs. The first portion is truly gigantic, but once you're done, you can repeat as many times as you like. The ribs are cooked perfectly, the bone falls off the meat fantastically, and the meat is plentiful and very flavorful. Let me just say I ordered five dishes, and if it weren't for the family, I probably would have gone on. Excellent, highly recommended. The unlimited ribs are only available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

It's simply the best burger and ribs we've ever eaten in our lives! The quality of the meat is excellent, the cooking is perfectly mastered, the ribs are juicy and tasty. The staff is very welcoming and exceptionally kind. We had a truly perfect time, to do again without hesitation if we return to Amsterdam!

So, this was the best restaurant experience my wife and I have ever had. The classic all-you-can-eat ribs were absolutely amazing, and what surprised me was the huge portion right from the start. Knowing I could have ordered more if I had any room left in my stomach felt incredible. The waitresses and waiters were super attentive and understanding, and the manager was incredibly kind and warm, he even told us a story about a man who managed to eat six portions without a problem. The garlic sauce paired perfectly with the perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth meat. I can only recommend this place: 10/10

Awesome experience here at Eetcafé’t Pakhuis. We came for the unlimited ribs offer and we were not disappointed! The ribs are qualitative and well cooked, there’s plenty to eat! The staff is on point! Extremely nice, quick and professional! I took the chicken burger and it was amazing! My husband got the ribs and saying that he was pleased is an understatement We finished our dinner with some funny anecdotes from the owner Thank you so much! Goed en lekker eten, leuk personeel (op 1 na, die was niet zo leuk in de omgang, had misschien zijn dag niet). Gezellige en sfeervolle tent, man van ontvangst was top.

Super leuk en erg goed. Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten, snel, geen foutjes, goede prijs, uitgebreide kaart, helemaal prima. O ja, wij waren met een groep van 12 personen en dat was geen enkel probleem.

Van te voren alleen de menu kaart bekeken, die sprak ons al aan. Bij aankomst verassend vol. Hangt een goede sfeer, bediening is goed en goed eten. Was een gezellige avond. Zeker een aanrader.
