Great seating and something for everyone on the menu. We created a drinks platter with all kinds of snacks.

Had lunch on Mother's Day, sufficient staff, who were friendly, and it was there quickly.

Good food and beer with nice girls! :)

Super nice and above all fast service. We were here for lunch and had a club sandwich with fries. Fairly priced, tasty and nicely prepared. (Photo is uploaded) We sat nicely at a sunny table with a parasol. Our dog was very welcome. She was immediately given a bowl of water and even a dog biscuit.

Had a beer but the food looked good too. Great spot on the beach. Highly recommended in good weather! I'd love to come back.

Always a good time @thebeach Now that the sun can finally be seen and felt again, there is always a quiet atmosphere and always friendly staff and, most importantly, affordable enjoyment for many Dutch people, such as 10 real Van Dobben bitterballen for €7.50 instead of €10 for 6/8 cat hairballs as you often see these days.

Make the standards interesting with expertise and creativity. Good cocktails! We were here spontaneously and very satisfied.

Very bad! Had to wait quite a long time for the main course and when it was on the table the food wasn't even good. My stepfather had a portion for a gnome and all the steaks were muddy or well done. Sent 1 dish back and that took another half hour. This is not the way to run your restaurant if you ask me. Even when the waitress comes to ask if everything is tasty, she doesn't even give us the time to answer her. There were 2 types of music on and that was very disturbing.

I went to this restaurant today (23-3-2025), the two waitresses were very nice. And the food (the prawns, Bacon hamburger and the pornstar martini cake) was very tasty. The only thing that was a little less was the music in the restaurant and the kitchen, so that was 2 pieces of music mixed together. But other than that I would definitely recommend it!

What you don't expect. Nice beach bar, ditto service and good food.

Yesterday on Sunday we had dinner with a friend at 8 p.m. and I immediately felt like we had to get through it quickly, because we were the last and only ones at that time. We ordered a steak that tasted like opened butter and was very cold and the vegetables were also cold and burnt. All in all, definitely not recommended!

Service was great!! They even thought of our dog, a bowl of water and some super sweet treats. Nice location and very attractive inside. Expected a little more food but definitely worth going there. Delicious wines also on the menu.

Delicious food, lots of vegetarian options too, so that's very nice! Nice service, nice spot in nature (many butterfly species to be found!). 4 stars for the atmosphere, because although cozy, the decoration could still be improved, a little more atmosphere, but that's a small thing :)

We waren onderweg en kwamen spontaan uit op deze plaats. Van afstand deed het onze wenkbrauwen fronsen want het zag er vervallen uit. Toen we het terras opliepen was het niet echt uitnodigend om daar plaats te nemen, veel groenaanslag en vliegjes, kortom maakt ook een vervallen indruk. Binnen zag het er echter knusser uit en besloten we toch maar om plaats te nemen. Kwaliteit van het eten was goed, geen hoogvlieger. Prijs kwaliteit is echter wel een beetje tegen de verhouding in. Personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam dus al met al een voldoende.

Nice place! When you arrive it looks a bit run down, but inside it is a fairly cozy restaurant. There is nothing to criticize about the staff, nice, fast, cordial people! We often asked if everything was OK and if we wanted something to drink. The food was fine but not particularly tasty. I personally found the taste of the spareribs less tasty. The carpaccio was fine and the chocolate cake was tasty!

Yesterday we had a fantastic party to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary in the cozy Eetcafé @ the Beach. We had good coordination with the owners Ramon and Jitske in advance and were able to make clear agreements about our wishes. These were all carried out in a very professional manner. Before our party, we had a delicious meal with our family. Tastefully prepared meals in generous portions. Compliments to the chef! The serene place where the café is located and the pleasant ambiance certainly contribute to this, as does the fast, efficient service. Jasmijn and Danique made our guests feel extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. In addition, these girls have also proven to be real party animals. At our request they showed their dancing skills and thus made our guests even more enthusiastic. There was a super nice, cozy atmosphere! It was a great success and unforgettable fun for us and our family and friends. Thank you dear people from Eetcafé @ the Beach Lelystad for your hospitality, delicious food and your professionalism! Excellent price-quality ratio. Definitely recommended for a delicious meal or a fantastic party!

Nice tent with a nice view and good food

Ordered a sandwich. This was served blackened. Sent back to kitchen. A little later the same sandwich came back. The black had been scraped off a bit, but still not good. No excuse or anything. I think this is really not possible. Very bad turn. It's a shame that this catering establishment tries to handle it this way. Really not possible.

A hidden gem where you can go for a nice snack and/or drink, but also if you are going for a day at the beach and want to go for a swim. And what a nice bike ride from the center of Lelystad.

Very bad service. Especially that old lady in service. Don't know how it should be. Walks around like a witch shouting at customers.... That lady with a knee support. You walk in and politely ask if you can take a bowl of Fried with you? People are shouting loudly that this is not possible, we are undermanned. Only use here. I said well I want to use it here... Just pick a table. Then I said I managed to order after all. Madam says sarcastically... Congratulations. Very unfriendly. Could post a picture of her, but due to privacy policy I won't. Learn to speak politely and politely to customers.

We had to wait half an hour for food that could be made in 20 minutes, the wait for ordering was also very slow and in total we waited at least 1 hour

Great place to eat, good price-quality ratio and in addition to the standard chip shop, there is also something else to choose from for the children. It would be useful to clearly state that the salmon is hot smoked instead of fried.

Staff thought it was more important to chat with each other so we left. The terrace looked dirty and the chairs were covered in spiderwebs.

Very chilled out cafe on the beach

Well we went there for dinner and the outside wasn't really inviting, but we sat down anyway. I had spare ribs for 22.50 € Well, 7 bunches were very little for that money. It was tender. We had said something about it and the lady wanted to give me another rack of ribs, but I didn't want that anymore.

Richly filled luxury sandwiches, delicious. Together with the great coffee, lunch here is great.

Samen met mijn vrouw en zoontje van 2,5 naar het strandje toe, het is 14:00 en de kleine had een beetje trek, dus wij wilde een patatje halen. Ik krijg door dat ze niet aan patat voor meenemen doen want het was te druk, ik vroeg wat is het verschil als ik hier ga zitten qua drukte dan? Ze mocht hier geen uitspraak over doen en had dit doorgekregen van de werkgever. Het halve terras was leeg, en op een gegeven moment heeft iedereen wel zijn eten lijkt mij. Kwam daarna iemand terug ontevreden, zijn patat was koud, die had hij overigens wel nog mee mogen nemen. Belachelijk dat je met 23 graden zonnige dag niet eens een patatje kan halen of een tijdsindicatie krijgt wanneer de bestellingen zijn afgerond. Daarna zijn we eigenlijk gelijk naar huis gegaan en was de stranddag kort tijdig ten einde gekomen.

On the last day of the holiday we had a meal to finish off. Unfortunately, the wrong order was placed at the table twice. 2x extremely long waits for the menu. The owner apparently thought it was more important to smoke outside than to serve her customers or keep an eye on her staff. Bit of disappointment.

If you have difficulty walking, you have to take the car along a narrow cycle path with a hairpin bend (you have to cross twice here.) Furthermore: excellent food for a reasonable price

From the outside it doesn't look very inviting, but inside it is a bit better. It is still not very neat and clean. Chicken had to be sent back again because it was undercooked. The waiters are sitting outside (in the breeze) smoking. The smoke therefore came our way during dinner. I didn't think it was very neat either. Especially because I thought it was the manager/owner. Service was not sharp, the youngest member of staff was the most customer friendly and that is why they are awarded these two stars. Unfortunately they don't tip.

Very friendly staff. I don't recommend eating satay. It is chicken thigh fillet and was undercooked. With a Dame Blanche I expect warm chocolate sauce and not cold sauce from a spray bottle. the steak and carpaccio tasted great. The entire building could also use a makeover on the outside.

Yesterday we made a “last minute” reservation at @The Beach and five minutes later we received a call saying “due to the very bad weather the entrance had become slippery and if we could please watch out” then you will immediately score points with us. The food was versatile and very tasty. Enough choice and more than we could eat. All in all, a delicious meal, great atmosphere and fantastic staff.

Great beach bar for a tasty bite to eat. We had a good meal there, I don't understand the negative reviews. (They are often the same ones who don't have anything at home). The staff was also very friendly and had time for a chat. We will definitely come here again!

Het voelt als thuiskomen. Goudeerlijke mensen met gerechten die kloppen. Geen opsmuk, geen rariteiten, maar gewoon goed. Heerlijke avonden op het terras of binnen. En de spareribs zijn fantastisch, het vlees valt van het bod. Maar ook de schnitzels, de saté.... Eigenlijk is de hele kaart gewoon goed.

Leuke en vlotte service. Lekker eten. Gewoon aan te raden aan iedereen van jong tot oud!

Mooi strandje ernaast en vriendelijk personeel. Voor een drankje en een borrelhapje prima. Diner zou ik achterwege laten. De schnitzel komt uit de frituur, wist ik van tevoren want dat had ik gevraagd. Maar toch een lekkere schnitzel uit de pan met roomboter zou ik meer kunnen waarderen. De friet glimde je tegemoet, zo vet was het. Aangegeven bij het personeel en de dame in kwestie was het met ons eens, er werd nieuwe gemaakt. Deze waren beter, maar nog steeds niet echt lekker. De groente lagen onder de schnitzel en kwamen glazig over alsof ze uit een potje kwamen. De pepersaus was niet vers gemaakt en erg waterig. Al met al mist er wat ons betreft wat liefde aan het menu en de bereiding ervan en hadden we het idee dat weinig vers was en rechtstreeks uit een potje/zakje/diepvries komt. Geen 2e keer voor ons hier.

Sehr freundliches aufmerksames Personal. Essen lecker und Preise völlig angemessen. Mein Hund bekam sofort Wasser. Und es wurde mehrfach gefragt ob alles in Ordnung wäre aber nicht so das man sich belästigt fühlt. 👍🏼 ich hatte ein Steak und das war hervorragend. Es gibt auch eigene Toiletten. Die Toilette vor dem Gebäude gehört zum öffentlichen Strand.

When biking around Lelystad we ran onto this beach pub between two marina's of Lelystad. Place is nicely located and has a reasonable atmosphere. Evening sun and typical beach type place. Mostly meat, but also some veggy options. Friendly staff, helpful in getting the answers to our questions. Vegetarian sate was good, fries well-done and crispy. Salad ok but could be a big more for two people. Prices on the higher end for the place. Building a bit rundown from the outside. Toilets ok. Not sure they earn enough to survive as there wer only a few guests on a nice summer evening.

Gezellig eetcafe, jonge bediening die nog niet alle horeca kennis hebben maar dit goedmaken met enthousiasme en vriendelijkheid, menukaart is prima en nog iedere x lekker gegeten. Wijn kaart is beperkt.

Leuke sfeer en leuk personeel, de jongen heeft mij een perfect Italiaans biertje aangeraden!

Een absolute aanrader. Wij hebben hier mijn verjaardag gevierd en het eten was perfect. Vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk eten, perfecte service. Het is inderdaad wat moeilijk te vinden dus misschien even bellen van tevoren want Google Maps snapt het niet helemaal. Dit mocht voor ons de pret niet drukken wij hebben genoten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Ga zo door!

Geweldige plek, gezellig gezeten en vooral heerlijk gegeten! Prima gastvrij en het iedereen naar zijn zin willen maken! Betrokken en aangenaam vriendelijk.

Heerlijke plek om iets te eten en te drinken, ongedwongen en relaxed. Althans dat was het altjd. Een italiaans biertje van de tap besteld waarvan de helft schuim was. Helaas alleen deze en Heineken op de tap. Mis een lekkere belgische blonde. We waren met 2 stellen en tijdens de 1e bierronde is in totaal 8x gevraagd of alles goed was, ze nog iets voor ons kon doen, of er nog iets ingeschonken kon worden, of het lege glas weg mocht. Het ging maar door, 3 veschillende meisjes die achter elkaar liepen te zeuren. Wel heel vriendelijk maar zooo vreselijk irritent. We zijn geërgerd weggegaan en hebben ergens verderop héérlijk ongestoord kunnen eten.

Met 8 personen een reservering gedaan voor avondeten. Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen door host maar bediening was wat kort af. Het was 32 graden en we kregen lauwe drank zonder ijs er in, daar moesten we om vragen. Bij het bestellen van het eten was de halve kaart niet beschikbaar doordat ze geen schnitzels en steak hadden... dat werd pas gemeld toen we het wilde bestellen. We hebben onze drankjes betaald en zijn opzoek gegaan naar een ander restaurant. Niet een fijne ervaring en niet handig met vier jonge kinderen.
