Portions were disappointing and our two extra plates were not included.

Bambi with chicken wings: the bami lacked flavor, was watery, and the chicken was dry. A shame, because I've had better meals here.

I thought I'd gotten a sandwich with nothing, there was so little on it. But the filling was so dry. Drier than the Sahara desert, even. We can handle spicy food quite well, but the last piece of bread was unusual; it left blisters in our mouths. I understand that, if that's the only flavor the sandwich has. The man behind the counter didn't seem to want to work there at all. We're very disappointed, as we saw good reviews and were really looking forward to a good sandwich. Consider this constructive criticism; I hope it improves soon.

I go there regularly, but they don't listen. Four out of five orders are wrong. Either something is missing, or even when they explicitly say no bell peppers due to allergies, they still include them. Very frustrating...

They were giving me half the order again. This happens almost every time I order. I indicated I was entitled to something I hadn't received the previous time, but that wasn't delivered either. The bizarre thing was that the filling for the Saoto soup hadn't been delivered, and the owner wanted the broth back because I'd requested more. The delivery driver couldn't deliver the forgotten food for another 45 minutes. An employee told me to heat it up in the microwave. This is truly bizarre. Totally unfriendly and extremely stingy. I won't order food from here anymore. It's also quite unusual that when you order nasi or bami, zucchini is included. You don't get that with your dishes in Suriname either. It's meant as a cheap filling instead of delivering good quality.

Eethuisje Zina was so exciting we came all the way from Amsterdam to eat here and it was 100% worth it 💋 roti roll recommended and the staff was fatoe

Always delicious food! I can't get enough of the pom, noodles and chicken wings. Too bad they don't make heri heri anymore, but telo bakeljauw is also tasty.

Best in Utrecht. All Surinamese takeaway restaurants in and around the center are really nothing compared to this. This is real The Hague quality.

I came to the Saoto soup because of the rave reviews. And they are right, it is a delicious, tasty, well-filled Saoto soup.

Did not eat on site but picked up. Vegetarian Roti and the one with chicken fillet were very tasty. I thought Barra was a bit too dry, but still tasty. Definitely worth repeating.

I eat a lot of Surinamese food throughout the country. The saoto was delicious and definitely the best I have ever eaten!!! highly recommended. The sambal is nice and spicy. Maybe serve a little more rice, otherwise top service and a nice place. will definitely come back for fresh daily meals.

We often get roti from different Utrecht places. Zinna is fine. It's not amazing or out of this world. It's just decent enough roti.

Waited 1.5 to 2 hours for our food. In addition, the chicken simply had no taste and was way too wet.

This is just bad. 2 x roti dishes. Very long wait, on one side super hot boiled potatoes with even a hard one in between and on the other side the meat just cold. All this with only a mediocre taste. Very unfortunate and never do that again.

Sweetie! I have been coming here for years when I feel like having Sauto soup. There are many Surinamese takeaway shops in Utrecht, but most of them do not sell Sauto soup, and especially not a tasty one. I can highly recommend this delicious soup from Eethuis Zinna to everyone! Njang Sweetie! (Enjoy your meal)

The price list that is there does not correspond to what you really have to pay. The pancake with the roti is so hard and chewy that it is impossible to remove

2 roti chicken removed. Taste was fine, roti leaves dry and hard on the edges. Ordered egg and pepper were not included. In short, bad service. Won't be back again anytime soon.

If I'm completely honest, I like my own roti chicken better 😂 but on a lazy day it's certainly not a punishment to get something to eat here. I think the pie could be a little bigger.

Ordered a few roti meals and telo. Vegetables and chicken were fresh, but lamb was almost certainly reheated and therefore a bit dry and partly cold. What was really disappointing was the delivery time of more than an hour while this restaurant was only a few blocks away from the delivery location. In addition, a free drink is advertised (nice extra), but unfortunately an extra brochure was delivered with this advertised, but the ordered drink had been forgotten. In short: the service can still be improved.

Since the eatery should be open, according to the times on their website, they were closed. Unfortunately not 5 stars. I can't say anything yet about the food or the atmosphere.

This is really a student issue. If you really want Surinamese food, I wouldn't go here. Ordered large noodles, container was half full Bara ordered and asked if it was fresh. These came out of the microwave and were tough. The petjel has cooked through and the cooking liquid is still there. Unfortunately I spent too much money on this food.

I go here once or twice a week for a bara. We also sometimes order rotti here. The food is delicious and the service really good. Sometimes it is a bit unpredictable whether they still have certain things (bara, shrimp) and sometimes they are suddenly closed at noon. But in my opinion there is nothing to complain about the quality of the food.

Excellent roti, relaxed atmosphere. Sort of a snack bar but with better food. They did get the order wrong; 2x vegetarian and 1x chicken became 2x chicken and 1x vegetarian. Delicious food, I will definitely order again.

really nice eatery. tasty food at a good price. the telo is my favorite. the fried cod with fried cassava "fries" is always deliciously salty and crispy. the vegetarian roti roll is also delicious. well seasoned and deliciously filled. I come here every time I'm in the area!

I waited an hour and 10 minutes for 1 bowl of roti. Received exactly 4 potatoes with some meat and green beans. I don't think it's value for money and I'm still hungry.

I worked in the Bijlmer for over 7 years, so I have some material for comparison, and this is simply a great tent. Rotirol beef taken. I am often a bit hesitant about beef because it is easier to ruin than, say, chicken fillet (for example, it can be tough), but there was really nothing wrong with this beef. Will come here more often.

Been once with 2 buddies, they really liked it and thought it was pretty good. I had noodles with chicken, it was nothing special, but it wasn't all that great. I have to say that I'm quite spoiled when it comes to Surinamese/Javanese food, that's why my standards may be too high. The staff was very friendly and it was nice and clean. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely visit again

Delicious roti chicken! Freshly prepared and you can taste it. It depends on who puts the food in the containers, sometimes there is more in it than other times. Definitely recommended if you like roti chicken. The staff is also always friendly. I only get my food here and I'm happy to drive a bit for that!

Been a few times now and my new favorite for Surinamese food in Utrecht! The saoto soup is without a doubt the best you can get in Utrecht!! After having eaten a lot in Rotterdam and The Hague, this is a real asset to Utrecht! Neat store with friendly, helpful, pleasant staff! And you can simply pay by card! Enjoy your meal!

I thought I'd give it a try, I love Surinamese/Javanese food. And I was very hungry so I was extra hungry. I think let me get a nice meal and a nice filled bara. well that was a disappointment. Bara was way too tough and too dry. only stuffed chicken in soy sauce tasted good. it looked like the bara was a few days old, tasted like rubber, very tough. now to main meal which was nasi with 4 chicken pieces and vegetables for €9.50. the nasi really had no taste, the chicken was 4 small chicken bones, far too little for that price. and the chicken itself was at the taste level you expect from a Javanese eatery. it was the first and last time I eat there. This restaurant is not worth 1 star.
