I happened to walk past here and hesitated for a moment whether to cook myself (which was my original plan) or get takeout, but then decided to get takeout after all. The man who served me was very friendly and we had a short conversation about work, how the business started, and he also asked me about my working life. It was after 8:00 PM, so he was actually closing, but he took the foil off the food containers for me anyway to make me a tasty bowl of bami with chicken and green beans. The food was very tasty; I ate it twice!

No idea what was going on, but the chicken ketjap noodles taste like noodles with extra oil. Very disappointing.

Picked up a super tasty veggie roti. Soft tofu, nicely seasoned and flavorful, just like the potato and long beans. The roti flatbread was tasty too. Also happy with the portion size. Decent meal 👌🏻

For a place where you can grab takeout and sit down for a bit, it's exactly what you want; super nice owner/staff, tasty food for a reasonable price, nice to have a chat, totally good! (And banger music too) (and tasty spekkoek)

The bara tastes like it came straight from the freezer. The chicken fillet has no taste and was spread very thinly on my bara. Unfortunately, there was no pepper on it; he forgot to add it, otherwise the bara would have had a bit of flavor. The curry roti roll has no taste either. A waste of my money. I won't be coming back here.

Recently, we had Nyan Switi cater the food for a party. For 30 people: bami/nasi, long beans, chicken ketjap, tofu curry, and pickled peppers. We had a delicious meal. We enjoyed it immensely! Delivered right on time and hot! Thanks again for the top-notch service, Dante! Highly recommended!

I wonder if you're deliberately letting a bunch of annoying guys distribute your flyers to harass people? I was yelled at quite rudely when I refused a flyer while I was about to go for a run. And when I got home, there were two more flyers crumpled in my mailbox, even though I have a NO/NO sticker on it. I would never order anything from here, and I urge others not to support a restaurant that supports this kind of activity.

I recently had saoto soup and bara chicken. Unfortunately, the saoto soup was a disappointment. It seemed to be mostly water, with hardly any chicken in it. The spices, like ginger, had an unpleasant flavor, and these bits even made their way into my mouth, which was really unpleasant. The bara chicken, however, was delicious. Despite this, the gentleman working there was very friendly!

You'll receive a friendly welcome here, and there's a wide selection of Surinamese food. We went for nasi and roti, and we thoroughly enjoyed the generous portions. A delicious Surinamese beer complemented the meal (okay, and a baka bana for dessert, but that went straight into our dessert stomach).

This young man gives his all for his business and you can tell by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Every time I order here, I am warmly welcomed and the food is fresh, tasty and prepared with love. It is a shame to see that there are some negative reviews that absolutely do not match the real experience. Some customers deliberately leave bad reviews, while the quality of the food and service are excellent. It is important to take these reviews with a grain of salt, because they do not reflect the true value of this restaurant. Since the new owner took over and renewed the concept, Nyan Switi is better than ever. I would recommend everyone to experience it for yourself, because you will certainly not be disappointed. Discover the restaurant of this hard-working young entrepreneur and taste the difference!

Roti was cold and the potatoes not fresh (from yesterday or older). Chicken curry rolls were poor in terms of chicken fillet. And I had to look for the cucumber. Bara bread (not fresh) was very small and stuck to the paper. See photo. I called with my complaints and no suitable solution was offered, only that he would pass it on. Waste of money. Never again!
