EETPUNT in Wijk 00 Veldhoven

We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the hospitality! Despite my lactose intolerance, I had a wonderfully relaxing and delicious meal without it being an issue, both with the food and the staff. I received full meals with all the trimmings, with adjustments and substitutions. So, no dishes were served where sauces and other items had simply been omitted. A delicious substitute for this. Thanks again for this, and congratulations!

EDIT: After my review, I received a very quick and personal response/contact, and a more than polite and appropriate solution from Smokey Blinders. Thanks! I ordered through Thuisbezorgd and it looked great, but I was quite disappointed... I ordered €80, but threw away more than half because it was simply inedible. The delivery driver (from Smokey Blinders themselves) didn't even have the decency to remove his helmet when ringing the doorbell. I ordered short ribs for over €30, and when I opened the container, I was surprised to see four meager slices of meat, or even less than a full short rib, which had bones between two bones, which, incidentally, were completely missing. I understand that there's a profit to be made, but I realize that for less than €30, you can get a kilo of short ribs from a butcher. Furthermore, the "short rib" was overcooked, almost beyond the pulled beef stage. Completely overcooked... The spare ribs were worth the price (€28) in portion size, but unfortunately, that was the only thing that made it worthwhile. I think the spare ribs were cooked, then frozen and reheated in an oven. They were absolutely dry and tasted nothing like they had been reheated directly from frozen, so we simply threw them away. Neither meat dish was de-fleshed; the membrane, which is very tough, was still on the meat in both the short rib and the spare ribs. So, the short rib was very tough, and the spare ribs had become dry and crispy due to reheating in the oven. I can't be bothered with the onion rings either; they were just snotty and didn't eat them either. The loaded pulled pork fries were okay, no wow factor, just okay, not worth €13.25. They charged an extra €0.50 for Cajun spices on the fries, which you really have to search for with a magnifying glass, and which were also limp and soggy. Furthermore, everything was practically cold when it arrived.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. They use fresh ingredients, and it clearly shows.

Only for groups. But excellent food in a nice atmosphere with friendly service.

Not worth the money. Only the delivered sushi is good but it always takes long time to be delivered: almost twice the time that is indicated. Last time, it took 1h10min instead of the 40 minutes predicted.
