Delicious food, friendly staff.

Two weeks ago, I ate here three times in the same week. Twice with a reservation and once without one. All three times I had excellent service; what lovely people work there. And the chef was beyond fantastic; the food was truly so flavorful! You get a solid 10+ from me. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Greetings from Rotterdam.

This message is intended for people considering dining out at Efeze: I just experienced a particularly unpleasant situation at Efeze. It was my mother's birthday, and we had duly made a reservation at Efeze—emphasis on "reservations." We arrived right on time, but the lovely lady told us we'd have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. I've never experienced anything like this in my 40 years. So we gave it the benefit of the doubt (in hindsight, we shouldn't have) and calmly waited (outside in the rain). About 10 minutes later, we asked again, and the lady couldn't give us a clear answer other than to say "sorry" and grumbled a lot. This was because people were debating whether to have dessert. But something like a polite gesture, which is perfectly normal at a restaurant (which, of course, is already a service-oriented concept). Tip for this lady: next time, put the guests outside, turn up the heat a bit, and give them a drink on the house—then everyone will be happy. I find this such a peculiar situation. There was a woman in line ahead of me who, incidentally, also had a reservation and also went home. Truly bizarre, unbelievably bizarre, poor service from this establishment. The food is undoubtedly delicious, but I'll never come back. You make reservations for a reason. To get back to the beginning: to anyone reading this who is considering dining out, I want to say: don't go to this place, and if you do, you might as well not make a reservation.

We made a reservation the day before and specifically asked if they had gluten- and lactose-free options. Upon arrival, we were seated at a nice round table, ordered a drink, and received one. We ordered from the menu, and then it turned out gluten-free wasn't possible. I suspect they were miscommunicating. That's a very easy way to get away with it. After that, no attention or apology. We got up and left. We'll never come back.

Delicious food, nice variety too. 😋 Good service💯🫶🏻, but please do something about the no-smoking 🚭 policy. People who plop down next to us to light up a cigarette without asking is unacceptable to me in 2025.

Great pizza for dinner. Went back the next day for lunch. The tomato soup didn't seem homemade, and the Turkish toast was a bit ordinary. Very friendly service. Normal prices. The restroom could have been cleaner. Nice location. Paid parking nearby.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb, a nice, spacious table with comfortable chairs. The service was outstanding.

Unfortunately, we had to wait too long for our order. After an hour and a half, the food still hadn't arrived. When we asked after an hour how much longer it would be, one of the servers said she would check. To no avail. After half an hour, we asked again. This server understood the situation but didn't do anything. After paying for our drinks, we left the restaurant.

We stopped here for a bite to eat because our boat was moored in the harbor. We came with our one-year-old daughter and were given a really warm welcome. The service, both for us and for her, was truly excellent. The service was quick, the food arrived quickly, and it was truly delicious!

Fantastic service! They know exactly what's in their dishes, and they were able to accommodate my allergies (list of seven). It seemed like there was only one waitress assigned to our table, so she knew exactly what I could and couldn't eat. They regularly checked in to see if everything was okay. What a relief after my previous experience in the restaurant industry. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I had the squid, shrimp, and salmon, and my partner had the steak. Everything tasted delicious, but unfortunately, it arrived late. We were a little disappointed that our food was served late, but when we mentioned it, they apologized and offered us a drink on the house. If the kitchen is busy and there will be a delay, we would appreciate it if we were informed in advance. In that case, we understand. Heerlijke lunch van genoten! Top personeel vriendelijk en gastvrij!! Gezellig in de Zutphense stad! Lekker ontsnappen van de drukte kan je ook binnen zitten in de mooie grot. Heerlijke tosti en linzen soepje gehad.

We come here often but tonight, Whit Monday, the waiting times for the food to be served were extremely long. It was less busy than usual so that is no excuse. We had ordered 2 pizzas and a children's menu. After waiting for more than an hour we were told that it would take a maximum of 10 minutes. That time was also exceeded. Too bad

Food and atmosphere fantastic. Wide choice and prepared with taste. Every dish could be adjusted and was great. Service was a bit difficult. After waiting 10 minutes, had to ask twice for an ordered beer.. And they could have sold a few more drinks. A coffee that was not ordered, was still on the table and the bill... Well, there was room for improvement..but we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Service friendly and cooperative. Rioja tasted good to me and the fried cauliflower is definitely a snack to try.

We had a delicious meal last night, Jinte was our host. An extremely friendly and helpful young man who helped us neatly and pleasantly. As far as we are concerned, he is a calling card for the restaurant. We were already customers but will certainly return and hope that Jinte will also be present.

The pizzas had a feather-light base and were well topped. The service was really pleasant and personable. And that on a quiet Monday evening. The place was completely empty and yet they had made the effort to light all the candles and make the terrace inviting.

Short but sweet: one of the best meals out of all time.

Delicious food...the atmosphere is pleasant and the place looks very cozy. We had the romantic dish, tasty grilled vegetables and meat. Yogurt with fruits, honey and walnuts. Reservations necessary, especially on Saturdays.

Gezellige bediening. Ontspannen sfeer. Bij de deur beetje koude wind naar binnen, maar een dekentje werd snel geregeld. Erg lekker!!!

Very bad if you make a reservation and arrive on time, but the window table is given away. This happens more often and we have been regular customers for years and we no longer come here.

Delicious food and pleasant service!

Really great food, I had the meleze, which is a dish to eat for two. It cost 34 euros, but was definitely worth the money. Very nice Mediterranean atmosphere! In short, highly recommended

Het eten is heel goed. We moesten wel even geduld hebben voor je je eten had maar we hadden de tijd. Vriendelijke bediening. Het stonk niet extreem naar eten wat voor mij heel belangrijk is. De toilet was echt heel slecht. De bril was helemaal nat, toiletpapier zat niet in de toilethouder. Die was stuk. Er was geen zeep. Dat zorgde voor mij voor een nare ervaring. Een goede en schone toilet is erg belangrijk vind ik. Jammer.

Bread that you don't eat is simply brought back into the kitchen and then put on someone else's table (they even reuse the dipping sauce for the bread), in short, hygiene is hard to find here. The owner of the terrace also shouts at staff and makes sexually explicit comments towards the female staff

Super tasty pizza, the place was understaffed, but nevertheless the staff was extremely friendly and kept us informed of the progress of the order.....

Duurde een uur voordat we eten kregen , brood was heel hard en duidelijk dat het er al ff lag zeg maar. De salade was zo klein dat t echt een schande is dat ie 13€ kost! Het buiten terras leek duidelijk voorrang te hebben met bestellingen op de binnen tafels. Het was vies , heel oud , vergaande “glorie” ( als t dat al ooit is geweest ). De wc was VIES! Heel veel stof overal en de handzeep was op en ze hadden een of andere open horeca fles zeep neergezet. De salade was voor wat t was wel lekker , maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Alleen de bediening is goed en na horen zeggen worden die blink uitgebuit en krijgen ze geen of weinig pauzes. Ik ga hier zeker weten niet meer heen !

Good food for a good price! At Efeze we are always in the right place for an evening dinner, the staff is friendly, the food is always tasty and the prices are low. The romantica is definitely recommended for a special evening, the price seems high but you get value for your money.

The food was excellent, we will come back for the chef. But the service was poor. After a long wait, our starter turned out to have been forgotten! There was hardly any response to this. Unfortunately, missed opportunity.

Not what we expected. When you read the reviews you think, gosh, nice tent! But on the terrace things were “a little” different. Waited over an hour for a pizza and tenderloin. Then the question was to get the tenderloin medium, raw. But we were so fed up with it and just had to leave that we just left it like that. Asked the waiter 3 times where it was and then got a big mouth. They are not customer friendly... Once and never again.

Went here for dinner last week, the atmosphere and food were sublime! Very friendly owner who was very customer friendly and thought along with us. We opted for the romantica on the advice of friends and it did not disappoint, deliciously tender meat. A real taste sensation for your mouth! Recommended if you are a meat lover. After dinner we were spoiled with their desserts, which were just as delicious as the food! We will be back soon!!

Het restaurant bood een uitstekende ervaring, service was van hoge kwaliteit, heel vriendelijk en gezellig personeel dat goed aan onze wensen en voorkeuren voldeed. De gerechten waren goed verzorgd en vol van smaak. Kortom, een fantastische ervaring die ik iedereen aanraad.

Had a lovely lunch on this occasion. We enjoyed a sandwich with beef tenderloin tips. This was very tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Sat here on the terrace, friendly girl who served us, but the Carpaccio was not tasty, and with the garnish that comes with it, it doesn't look nice either... A bit watery and bland carpaccio. I have eaten here before and it was okay.

Today we had a delicious meal at Efeze, fantastic starters and a delicious pasta with chicken 😍! Also very friendly staff, very warmly received and great service! 🥰👌 A really nice atmospheric restaurant!!

Unfortunately really not satisfied with this visit. Firstly, we had made a reservation but there was still no table and we had to wait outside for 30 minutes, no drink on the house or a nice treat offered. The pasta was too soft and hot, very much like it had been microwaved and the pizza was very salty. Also the only dry wine they have was not tasty. Unfortunately next time we will go to a different place.

Goed eten maar bediening had ons meerdere malen vergeten.

Lekker eten dat komt in royale porties, waar een eerlijke prijs voor wordt gevraagd. Het eten is wel behoorlijk zout. Wij wilden nog graag een dessert bestellen, maar toen ons na ruim een half uur nog niets gevraagd was, besloten we in plaats daarvan af te rekenen en te gaan. Dat was eigenlijk het enige minpunt aan ons bezoek, verder zeker een aanrader :)

Voorgerecht kofte gehaktballetjes, soepballetjes in pre fab tomatenpuree Sis Kekab medium rare, door en door gaar, echt niet lekker.

Bij binnenkomst schrok ik. Restaurant is zwaar verouderd en ziet er vies uit. Vieze stoel, vieze kleedjes op tafel, vieze muren ect. Durf er niet over na te denken hoe de keuken er uit ziet. Eten matig. 50 minuten op ons eten moeten wachten.

Met z'n vieren rond 3 uur een mezzerle gedeeld. Een grote schotel met kleine hapjes uit de Italiaanse en Turkse keuken. We genoten. Het was op dit tijdstip rustig. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent.

Lekker gegeten. Service was leuk en goed. Niet te vaak en niet te weinig vragen of je nog wat wil drinken. Met het maken van de groepsfoto even een grapje. Goede sfeer.

Origineel restaurant met charmante inrichting. We gaan voor de signature pizza, de Efeze. Een dichtgevouwen pizza met Turkse worst erin en artisjok. Dat worstje is meteen de smaakmaker, de rest van de pizza is wat saai. Jammer hoor, wel lekker deeg

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Gratis kraanwater en uitstekende pizza's en koffie. Alles goed heet en vers.

Echt heel lekker! Probeer de romantica, lijkt duur maar is zeker zijn geld waard.

Lekker eten. Maar niet speciaal. Vriendelijk personeel wel. Achterin de zaak is het tamelijk donker. Wegens de drukte bijna 1,5 uur moeten wachten op hoofdgerecht. Begrijpelijk.

Vanavond met 5 pers gegeten. Het was uitstekend. ( klein " foutje " met t vlees maar werd onmiddellijk goed gemaakt door vriendelijke bediening) Conclusie : een " byzonder" goed restaurant

Leuk restaurant op gezellige locatie. Wij kozen voor pizza, die voor beide super lekker was. Prima bediening, en niet geheel onbelangrijk, je kan er lekker op je gemak zitten!

Bestel je hier een broodmandje (die niet op de kaart staat) met smeerseltjes, dan is dit een grote portie met veel beleg. De porties zijn ruim, en geen extra ongevraagde salades oid op tafel die toch niet gegeten worden. Service is vriendelijk en snel. Eten is heerlijk, kaart uitgebreid, en prijzen heel netjes.

Geweldige goede pizza's. Met name de quatro stagioni. Uitstekende lamshaasjes. Uitgebreid buiten terras. Inrichting binnen ietwat gedateerd.

Beste biefstuk en gegrilde kipfilet in een jaar. Bijgevoegde salade rijk gevuld en gebakken aardappel perfect gebakken. Ik kom zeker nog een keer. Paar kleinigheidjes in bediening, missend bestek en niet zonnschone kaart kijken we doorheen
