We had a delicious fried egg sandwich here. It's also a great spot, right on the Koemarkt, of course.

We had a wonderful meal at Eff Anders in Purmerend! The lamb tasting was truly outstanding – well-prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a cozy, homey atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. The service was friendly and attentive, although the food was sometimes served a little too quickly. All in all, a wonderful experience and definitely a place we'd love to return to.

Lovely service.. Had a delicious mix of bittergarnituur and they have delicious tomato juice with tabasco. Basket of baguettes also very tasty. Great!!

I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you like fish and shellfish. You don't need to speak Dutch, with Google Translate I did very well and the staff also speak English and German, so congratulations to the kitchen and dining room staff 👌

Ate at Effe Anders for the "umnth time". Unfortunately, something went wrong with the implementation of a completely gluten-free diet due to celiac disease. Already on the road and upon returning home very bad. Called Effe Anders, not to complain but to indicate that something went wrong in the kitchen and that gluten was in the meal. A thousand apologies from whoever answered the phone and also the question if there was anything else they could do. Very emphatically indicated that this was not necessary, but purely a warning that things can go wrong with just 1 small gluten in people who are actually not allowed to eat gluten. Less than half an hour later we received a call from the owner who also apologized and indicated that something had indeed gone wrong. He offered us compensation for dinner. This was not our goal, but it shows that this restaurant has/is being treated seriously. They deserve 6 stars, but unfortunately that doesn't fit.

Delicious food. The Argentinian tenderloin was very tender and very tasty. It took a while between dishes for the new dishes to arrive. Perhaps this also had to do with the large group we were with. Other than that it was fine!

We waren met 8 volwassenen, een grote ovale tafel stond uitnodigend klaar voor ons. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Alle gerechten waren uitstekend, goede smaak combinaties en mooi opgemaakt. Ik had tartaar en shasimi van tonijn: verrukkelijk. Ook over de oesters en zalm hoorde ik positieve geluiden. Het gerecht met hert scoorde goed en mijn kabeljauw lag op een bedje van de lekkerste risotto ooit! De desserts waren mooi en lekker. De wijnen waren goed, de bediening vriendelijk en professioneel!

They don't have a drinks menu that I asked for so I could see what the prices were. I wanted an iced coffee. Then I have to pay. They charge almost 10 euros for that iced coffee. It's ridiculous. Normally an iced coffee is around 5 euros, I was really shocked at this amount, a real rip-off I won't be going here again anytime soon bad service

Whenever I wanna go out to eat in Purmerend, Effe Anders is always top of my head. My favourite is seabass with paela and crab soup

Hidden gem in the Center of Purmerend. Steak - always en pointe. Delicious food combinations where seasons are nicely presented. Ambience make you feel cozy, but somehow it will make you feel a bit in Italy, a bit in France, with an old American glamour.

Het eten is meer 5 sterren waard echter het tempo waarin de maaltijden werden opgediend gaf ons het gevoel dat de tafel snel nog een keer gebruikt moest worden. 5 minuten na bestellen was ons voorgerecht er al, en tussen voor- en hoofdgerecht zaten ook krap 5 minuten. Al met al stonden we na een 3 gangen menu al weer anderhalf uur buiten. En dat is voor een gezellig familie etentje ons wat te snel.

Had a good lunch. Food is good, prices are average, atmosphere is pleasant and casual. Service is friendly and entertaining. It wasn't busy and the table setting was intimate. Overall a good place for lunch.

Great Christmas dinner with family on Christmas Day. It was another great evening with live music by a singer and the atmosphere was good. Completed with a great dinner. Working very hard behind the scenes with great service couldn't have been better.

The food was very tasty and nicely served. And the person who served us was friendly and thought along with me! Because I am lactose intolerant, I couldn't eat everything from one dish! He still managed to make a change! So that I could also eat delicious food! Top!! Will definitely come back again. But then I will indicate in advance that I am lactose intolerant!!

I am a fan! Welcoming reception, friendly and competent employees and nice menu. The meat and side dishes that we chose were all equally delicious and refined in taste. The sticky toffee dessert is highly recommended! The prices of the dishes are higher than an average restaurant on the Koemarkt. The quality of the ambiance, atmosphere and the food too.

The food is very good, been several times. The price to quality is superb. The staff is helpful and friendly. The wine list is also pretty decent. Only limited in vegetarian dishes, but absolutely worth the visit.

Not very friendly service. We were asked what we wanted to drink and no menu was offered. A snack is nice with a beer. So after 15 minutes we asked for the card. The waiter didn't come back to ask if we had made a choice, so we left after another 20 minutes and 1 beer. In short, not a hospitable atmosphere.
