I suppose this restaurant belongs to the Villa Beukenholf. Well, the service at this restaurant was DISAPPOINTING. Let me see where to begin. On Monday at lunchtime, it was a really nice place to celebrate my mother-in-law's 99th birthday, a very intimate meal. There was only our table of 5 people and a private room with a small celebration, no more than 10 people. The waiter was very friendly but clearly lacked basic training in how to serve diners in a restaurant. We ordered the 4-course chef's menu. There was a 15-20 minute wait between courses! The portions were adequate, well-cooked, and presented. After 3 hours of lunch (in Holland????), we were expecting a small birthday gift for my mother-in-law, and we had called the day before to mention it. They said no problem, and NOTHING! Every birthday at any restaurant usually comes with a small gift, but this one had NOTHING! If they had said they didn't do it, we would have prepared something ourselves! DISAPPOINTING SERVICE! What a shame!
