Good value for money. We were tied to a specific closing time, and the service adhered to it well. Nice atmosphere.

So great, booking online and getting confirmed. You're on your way (35 minutes) and then they call you, practically laughing. Yes, a glitch in the computer system; we're fully booked, and it's not our problem setting. Great on Christmas Day. Never again Bregje for us.

The company is completely impossible to reach by phone. I called 15 times in three days, and each time I get a recording telling me they can't answer the phone. Please leave your name and phone number and we'll call you back. They just forgot to tell me that returning calls isn't their forte, because I still haven't received a call back.

I had a fantastic experience here. The food was excellent quality for the price. Everything was beautifully presented, and you really get your money's worth. The portions are also the perfect size to fill you up after finishing all three courses. The waitresses were also very friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant.

Upon entering the lobby, I stepped over boxes. The appetizers arrived incomplete (tasting order) and lukewarm/cold. Someone was skipped during the second round of drinks. We couldn't get the staff to pay attention and order more drinks. The women's restroom was dirty. The windows were greasy and stained with child trafficking. We arrived around 5:00 PM, when the restaurant had just opened.

The food around the table was all great the only disappointment was the burger. The staff were lovely and friendly.

This time, 4 stars because the schnitzel was very dry. But otherwise, the starter, main course, and dessert were excellent. And the schnitzel was compensated with a house drink. All in all, highly recommended for a delicious and affordable meal.

Today we had a wonderful time on the spacious terrace overlooking the greenery. Very friendly service, great prices, and truly delicious food! The food also looks very good and delicately presented! Tuna tortilla, pulled chicken tacos (very nice), satay, salmon, and two delicious desserts. And all for a great price. Highly recommended in Oegstgeest!

I found it by chance on the internet, we were there with my partner and my 4-month-old son, I would say a very welcoming place, nice atmosphere, excellent service, kind and friendly waiters, good food, excellent value for money, only the hamburgers didn't convince us much.... in my opinion I didn't like the bread, there was very thickly cut tomato, bacon didn't arrive, to be improved in my opinion, the rest recommended for those who are in the area

It was really the worst burger I have ever tasted in my life. Moreover, my husband and I both bought burgers and we both just tasted them and left them. They were made of frozen meat and the meat was fried by absorbing oil like a sponge and smelled very bad. When we shared this situation, our plates were taken away from us and the waiter accepted that the meat was frozen and never offered us any other solution and brought us the desserts we ordered directly. As people who came here for the first time and had an experience, we regretted not eating hamburgers in the hotel restaurant! On top of that, they did not offer any discount. As a gourmet, I have experienced many cuisines of the world and this is really out of the understanding of restaurant management.

Everything you expect for this low price; food that has been rotting for a long time (discolored/dark food, tough bread, lukewarm). Piece of bacon on a plate of a vegetarian dish. “I can't imagine” in response. Were with a relatively large group. Clearly they can't handle this volume.

Had dinner here on a Saturday at 5:00 PM with the wish to be gone by 6:45 PM. It was very busy and everything took a long time, which meant that the meal and dessert had to be eaten in a hurry. Spare ribs are cooked and poorly (or not?) grilled. The nachos had cheese, despite the express wish to leave it out. Service was slow but friendly. For a simple bite, I find this disappointing.

What a nice restaurant!!! I've seen it before in my home area (Drenthe), but never had the opportunity. Today we spent a day in Leiden and saw the restaurant in the city center, but our hotel was just outside the city. As it turned out, this also applies to Oegstgeest! Made a reservation and a table for two. Wide choice, smooth and fun, relaxed service. Delicious dishes, beautifully flavored and certainly sufficient! Delicious dessert and coffee and all very affordable!!! Highly recommended! When we return home we will certainly visit the restaurant there. Just good and tasty affordable food in a nice atmosphere!!! Top!

Very good value restaurant with good quality food. The three course menu for only 20 euro is great. Service was quite slow upon our visit, but the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend to try the shared starter plate with multiple small bites.

Nice restaurant with many places. It took a long time for the starter and main course to arrive. Smart, because then you order more drinks. The food itself was of good quality and portions were large enough. Staff were very friendly. We were asked if we wanted a salad with dinner and we said yes. This was not delivered, but was included in the receipt. Unfortunately, we found this out upon arrival at home. Coffee with syrups were a bit strong. Overall had a good experience at this restaurant.

Found another place where everything is right... be prepared... we will be back

Ridiculous! On Thursday, July 11, we entered the restaurant at 8:14 PM. The manager told us that the kitchen was already closed. Unbelievable – the manager apparently has no control over the kitchen. It seems that the kitchen brigade wanted to go home quickly and was not interested in the guests or in delivering quality, because this of course takes time. Our advice: don't eat here!

Really just terrible. We made a reservation on a weekday at 6:15 PM for my 18th birthday, so we were seated at that time. Ordered a drink, which took a while, then immediately ordered a main course and starter. Then had to wait 35 minutes for 4 capaccio which then looked anything but fresh. I thought, okay main course will probably be better. Anything but, we waited 1.5-2 hours for it only to be served minuscule portions. The sauce with the salmon already had a skin on it, fries were just cold, sparribs were a damn small portion and satay was in children's menu size. When we received the main course, we ordered desserts with a word from a server that the desserts are always fast, but then we still had to wait another 45 minutes. Finally said it was done and then magically it was done. Ice was already half melted and had been standing for a while. In the meantime, we noticed that several customers around us were becoming frustrated. Several tables even had to send coffee back. Afterwards, others have said enough was enough and left after paying the full price. We were told that something would be done about the bill... 2 ice tea greens were taken off. A whole evening away for mediocre food and a total of 3 hours of waiting. I work in the catering industry but this is really not normal.

Really enjoyed it the food was really good. The service also very nice. The price is also very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Helaas geen goede ervaring Gezin met 4 jongere kinderen, meer dan half uur gewacht voor elke gang. Kindermenu broodje hamburger was echt een aanfluiting. Een ieniemienie worstje (ik denk 4x zo klein als een hotdog) op een broodje met veel mosterd en ui. Welk kind houd nu van mosterd? Het was er ook niet van af te halen, zat al helemaal in het broodje. Wij komen niet meer terug.

The food was good for what we paid. Although there is still room for improvement in the service. Like giving forks instead of spoons for dessert, not giving change. As far as the kitchen is concerned, we had to wait a very long time for our main course. Waited 1 hour minimum. Fortunately, because the food was tasty it compensated.

I have been here three times: once they took 45 minutes to serve us a 2 cocktails; once they brought us food after 40 minutes (overpriced pub food, with a burger below par); today I went there, sat outside with my dog, a waitress cam and told us that they won’t serve me food outside because it rained before (it was not raining then, and it would clearly not be raining for the following 45 minutes as the weather was on the mend), she then added that I could not be served inside because I had a dog. I am speechless. In all cases, I was served by rude pompous people

Here you can get delicious food and drinks at a great price-performance ratio. The service is very friendly and helpful and is happy to give you tips. There is a very dedicated team working here and we really enjoy coming here. The menu selection is well coordinated and changes again and again. A reservation is highly recommended as it is understandably always very busy! Our special thanks go to Annemarie, who keeps an eye on everything with a very trained eye, is very accommodating and makes the visit something special. Wishes will be fulfilled!

The location is beautiful and that's why I had high expectations. It's cheap, that's for sure, great value for money. Unfortunately it was quite busy and waiting times were long to get something to eat and the service was sloppy (no plates, no cutlery, no menu etc). Food otherwise fine.

We went for dinner in the middle of the week, booked a table earlier so the restaurant knew we were coming. It took them 90 minutes to get us our starters. The staff claimed the kitchen was busy but seemed to not realize we didn't even get the starters at this point. I ordered mushrooms on toast and the mushrooms were cold and toast hard as rock. If I had to guess I would say our starters were prepared and lay forgotten somewhere until we spoke up about lack of service. The main course was another hour away, so 2.5h after we arrived. The food was fine. By the time we finished and managed to get a hold of staff, we said it's gone too late and we want to skip the dessert and just get the bill. The waitress left and returned without a bill but to inform us that the desserts were ready if we wanted them. We reiterated it was too late and we wanted the bill. The waitress disappeared and proceeded to serve other customers. We just made our way to the desk to pay. We were comped two cokes for our troubles, but honestly? That was not enough. I understand they were busy and the kitchen was swamped, but this place requires reservations, so presumably they know how many patrons they expect and perhaps they shouldn't take bookings they cannot accommodate. Very unimpressed.

Had a wonderful meal here. Actually reserved for 6:30 PM, but we were there at 6:00 PM and were able to sit at the table. The food was delicious and the time for serving was excellent. The only shame is that we were only asked again if we wanted something to drink when ordering dessert. Could have been with the main course. That's the only point of criticism! For the rest, top restaurant and very friendly staff. Highly recommended

I've been here several times now. Tasty food, good atmosphere. However, not prepared for groups of larger than 6. Then the wait for food takes a very long time (also experienced that cold food is served). This is not a problem for smaller groups. Recommended depending on the size of the group.

What a wonderful evening we had, we were a large group and everything was arranged down to the last detail. A hardworking team that works together, and the food was all very tasty! We will definitely be back soon!

Cozy restaurant. Very busy. Food looked nice. Starter and dessert delicious. However, 4x pork tenderloin, everything almost raw... should be pink. Indicated this, it was cooked a little further but still not great, probably put in the microwave. So not okay!
