This is a really lovely place to sit on the shopping street when the weather is warm, otherwise you'd have to sit inside. The staff is very friendly, and the menu has something for everyone. Excellent. P.S. Parking is a bit difficult by car; there's a small parking lot, otherwise, it's on the public road. It's better to come by bike.

I called less than 1 hour in advance to order a last minute lunch for 50 people. Het Beleg did a fantastic job! Thank you again.

Cosy, popular and you can tell - good food for a good price. The Rendang has simmered well and long as it should, and you can taste it. No frills, honest and cordial. We would love to come back here.

Genuinely very good service. Always available to order lunches, food is of good quality and the team is very accommodating in coming up with solutions. If you want to order a business lunch, I definitely recommend this place!

A very comfortably furnished restaurant with great, very friendly and nice service. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. In addition to the lunch menu, there is also an evening menu with all kinds of delicious burgers. Homemade patties, perfectly cooked, complete the picture. For dessert you can get a sweet finish from the very good selection of dishes and a delicious espresso.

Delicious! I should have taken more time for this and eaten my sandwich there instead of taking it with me. Next time!

It's always a pleasure to walk in here. From the menu, the smoothies, the changing sandwiches, soups or salads of the week, to the extremely friendly and pleasant service. I personally like the Club best, but you really can't go wrong with anything. With love and a smile! 💪😃👍🫶

Samen met een vriendin ben ik hier gaan lunchen nav de positieve reacties op Tripadvisor. Boven verwachting! Modern en gezellig ingericht. Gemoedelijke sfeer. Gastvrije, goedlachse en attente medewerksters. Gevarieerde kaart, lekker eten. De taart toe was hemels. En dat allemaal voor een heel schappelijke prijs. Dames, als jullie dit lezen: hartstikke bedankt!

Nice concept, good vibes 😎! tip: The air conditioning unit hanging above the tables could use a clean-up: just suck out the dust wisps with the vacuum cleaner and you're done. tops: Cozy decor, tasteful! Best french fries in Holland. Very good burgers. Don't expect traditional desserts, but do expect delicious cakes. we would love to come back here.

Great food, nice ambience and good location within Oegstgeest. Nice outside sitting as well. Has daily soups and some traditional lunch items including, wait for it, flamkuchen! Also nice for an informal business lunch. Only reason for 4 stars: gets extremely crowded at peak hours.

Had lunch today at Beleg van Oegstgeest. To my surprise, they had about 5 options for vegan lunch. I ordered the club sandwich with 'chicken' and 'bacon'. To my surprise and disappointment I received two brown sandwiches (not toasted) with all the toppings in between. The taste was nice, but I order a club sandwich for the 'experience', the party on your plate. I don't understand how a restaurant can relegate such a classic dish to a double sandwich that I also eat at home. Too bad, I really hope that "the Siege" takes this feedback to heart and restores the club sandwich to how it should be: with three stacked toasted ones! slices of bread, cut crosswise. My friend had a Flamkuche with goat cheese which was delicious! The plus points of 'het Beleg' are that you can bring your dog inside and that they have good coffee.

The people working there were very hospitable they had a nice variety of food and drinks and they were of good quality.

I have been here a few times for the burgers. They are always well prepared and taste amazing! The fries have the perfect texture and crunch which makes the meal even more pleasing. The staff have always been super nice and they keep the establishment well taken care of. Recommend going for the burgers! If their burgers are this good l, I am sure the rest of the menu is excellent!

Super nice to drop by for coffee or lunch. The soup looked delicious and my sandwich was very tasty. My American husband and son also found their sandwiches tasty, but a bit sparsely filled.

Although there’s nothing special with the food, it’s one of my favorite places especially for breakfast. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. 5 star is for their policy of not making reservations; great for people like me who are sick of cafes/restaurants with all the tables with “reserved” signs nowadays.

Es war ein spontaner Besuch und auch ein schneller… leider zu schnell, denn wenn wir noch mehr Zeit gehabt hätten, dann wären wir mit Sicherheit noch viel länger geblieben. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich sympathisch und zuvorkommend… Das Frühstück war genau so, wie wir uns ein Frühstück wünschen… lediglich unser Sohn konnte mit dem süßen Brot auf dem Teller nichts anfangen, wir fanden es sehr lecker. Ein frischer Smoothie und leckerer Kaffee hat das Frühstück abgerundet… sogar der Pfefferminz Tee war frisch. Tausend Dank, wir würden hier wieder essen.

Het Beleg is a great lunch spot or just for a cup of coffee and something tasty. For example French toast or poffertjes! Just because it's possible! But there are also plenty of sandwiches and hot lunch dishes on the menu. The vegan guest is slightly less satisfied with 6 out of 22 dishes.

I like a weak milky latte. They listen to what you want and make you feel very welcome. Wonderful place, very worth a visit.

In korte tijd 3 keer de lunch gebruikt, en een constante kwaliteit ervaren, mooi Brood voor de sandwiches wordt hier gebruikt, niet van dat brood verbeteraar toevoeging in brood wat je in de supermarkt koopt, nee dit is eerlijk brood, het beleg File American of Kip zijn luxe en goed aangeklede sandwiches waar de uitbater trots op mag zijn. De vriendelijk en snelle bediening maken het geheel compleet met een sterk terug kom gevoel. Fijn zo in dat Oegstgeest van nu.

They don't have them every day, but some days they have burgers and these are so far the best I've had since moving to Oegstgeest. And I have already tried home delivery. Glad I finally tried them.

Been a regular customer for years, but due to one accidental visit to the toilet (without consumption) the owner immediately addressed him with a dissatisfied attitude. I will never return here if I can expect this customer-unfriendly attitude from the money-fixated owner!

Voor mij ideaal. Een kleine kaart waarvan je alles zou willen bestellen. Club Sandwich? Ik zat eigenlijk niet te wachten op zo’n monstergerecht waarbij je je kaken met een krik uit elkaar moet duwen om een hap te kunnen nemen. Op aanraden toch genomen. Echt te gek. Onvergelijkbaar met elke Club Sandwich die ik ooit eerder heb besteld. Toptent. Ontspannen sfeer met ook nog eens geweldig lekker ijs. Dat je ook nooit eerder hebt geproefd. Vijf sterren? Tien mag ook!

Heerlijk terrasje om een fris en gezond broodje te nuttigen. Ook de sapjes zijn heerlijk. Veel keuze. Alles net even iets anders, met een twist. Bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. Absolute aanrader!!!

Very nice and cosy lunch restaurant for locals in Oegstgeest, summertime terrace is always nearly full. Along the Kempenaer shopping street with lots of small boutiques. Recommend one of their club sandwiches and a small jus d'orange while checking mail. But there is much more. Also caters away. Check their website for more.
