We ordered Lahmacun Klassiek through Uber Eats and it was too hot/spicy that we could not eat them. The thing is there is indication of that in the app. Tried to reach out to them but no one answered the phone.

I've been coming here for a while. Friendly staff and good food. The filled rolls are tasty and large. I recommend the All-in breakfast if you're coming for breakfast with two people; it includes unlimited Turkish tea. However, it would be nice if you could occasionally be asked if you'd like another cup of tea; you always have to go find someone yourself for this. Otherwise, very satisfied. The seating area upstairs is cozy but warm; outside, you aren't sitting close together, nor are you right in the middle of a walkway used by people outside.

We had a really delicious meal with my son. Friendly staff and clean. Highly recommended.

Good atmosphere and the food is good. Several dishes that you would normally buy at a döner shop can also be found here, but with a more upscale twist.

Everything was truly excellent—the food the staff’s friendliness and the prices. Overall everything was perfect and it was an amazing experience.

The chicken was cold and the fries were as hard as stone. When I asked why the food was like that and if they could make a fresh batch, someone came over who seemed to be the boss. He said: “These are the fries we have. If you don't like them, you shouldn't have ordered fries.” In short, the food was bad and the service was even worse.

I enjoy going to Ekmekci in Almere. The staff is friendly, I am always served quickly, and the food is consistently of good quality.

We visited here in May and ordered a gözleme with doner chicken. After taking a few bites, we noticed that the chicken tasted strange. We opened the gözleme and saw that the chicken was raw inside. The chef confirmed this later. What also surprised us was that the chicken is not prepared on-site but is delivered ready-made by a supplier. That does not give the impression that fresh ingredients are being used. Serving raw chicken is a serious food safety risk. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience for us, and therefore we cannot recommend this restaurant. You could edit your Google review like this: Update: After the restaurant's response, I am honestly shocked. On the day itself, both the chef and the manager confirmed to us that the chicken was raw. They also offered their sincere apologies for this. Therefore, I do not understand why this is being denied now.

I've always wanted to try it because it looked very appealing from the outside and inside. I visited for the first time today. The atmosphere and interior are very beautiful. The staff provides good service. The food was adequate but not amazing. However, the way they were preparing the food could be much better. Everything was sticky and dirty. I understand that the countertops etc. get dirty during preparation, but this was just sticky and disgusting.

Lovely place for lunch. Crispy fresh rolls (Turkish), delicious gozleme with various fillings. We were surprised by the variety on the menu. Reasonably priced. We will be having lunch here more often!

Ordered water. Bottle or with a straw...? Uh, I can imagine something like that with a child, but with two older people you don't expect this and you just serve a glass. On the other hand, there is something positive... a glass of ice water with the espresso; others could take a leaf out of their book.

Service has declined and they just throw the food around on the table without even consideration of who is at the table and where they are sitting. Would not recommend for the service. Had to complain to the manager about that particular waitress.

Poor service, which I find unfortunate. Ordered cheese but it wasn't added. Ordered fresh juice and apparently that juice was pressed yesterday. A pity.

I recently ate here. I was absolutely dissatisfied with the service. The male waiter didn't speak a word of Dutch. His English wasn't great either. The food itself wasn't particularly good either. The baklava tasted chemically and was as dry as sand. I don't come here often and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Next time, I'll eat at the neighbor's. Terrible Asian restaurant.

It's often busy, which can sometimes create a crowded atmosphere, but I take that as a sign that everything else is well-organized. For a good lunch, I'd recommend the Gözleme Lion King! (The cappuccino was also very good.) The chef is always up for a chat and helps the staff with requests when it's busy. In short, definitely recommended in Almere.

Went there for the first time this afternoon. The side table was sticky; when you mentioned it to the waitress, she pointed to another table. You can sit there, or there...😂 I think they don't have any wipes. The food was okay, nothing special, but the attitude, omg 😂, that's a very unique way of thinking about solutions. The seats are very cramped and uncomfortable. Take a look upstairs. And the food was disappointing: only the gözleme was tasty, although the dough wasn't entirely fresh. The rest of the food is a real letdown. I hope this will be better addressed in the future, both in terms of allergies, seating comfort, presentation, and food quality.

I ordered food and clearly stated I was allergic to certain ingredients. When it arrived, it still contained those ingredients. They promised to remake it, but they simply took them out and put the plate back in front of me. That's life-threatening when you have an allergy. Please be more careful!

Cozy little restaurant, good food, and friendly service, although the language barrier was a bit of a problem. The staff didn't speak Dutch very well, and even English wasn't sufficient. However, they were friendly and helpful, and we received exactly what we ordered. And it was simply delicious. One thing that was noticeable was that many of the chairs seemed dirty; that really needs more attention. The whole place feels clean and fresh, and the open kitchen looks neat. The chairs are a slight disappointment. For a full lunch, we paid around €50.00 for two people, which is a good price for the entire experience. We will definitely eat here again.

Ekmekci left a positive impression, but with some areas for improvement. The restaurant has the decor of a place you'd love to visit, and the food is excellent and not too pricey (especially the breakfast options + unlimited tea were superb). The service wasn't stellar, but just what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. The biggest issue is hygiene; I had to find a chair free of crumbs (the fabric of the otherwise comfortable chairs didn't help matters), and the menus are made of cheap plastic, making them torn and greasy. This is a family restaurant, so on the one hand, this is to be expected, but on the other, these "issues" can be solved with minor improvements.

This is no place to have a relaxed breakfast with your partner, friends, or family. Even before I finished my breakfast, the waiters came back several times to ask if they could take it away. Even my tea was taken away before I'd finished. Our breakfast, which had lasted half an hour to forty minutes, was completely disrupted by this. Instead of a relaxing atmosphere, we felt rushed, which was very disappointing.

Today we went on a rainy day, unfortunately it rained too hard to go to the market so we went to Ek.ekci for a bite with the family. It was busy but the order was delivered to the table very quickly, earlier than expected. Within 10 minutes we could already eat well, despite all the tables being occupied. Really great! We were here for the 2nd time and I have to say that: service and quality have been maintained. It tasted delicious again and we really enjoyed it. The 4 of us spent around €60 here. See receipt for exact amount. As far as we are concerned: Reasonably priced. Definitely worth repeating and everything is halal of course❤️ If you happen to be in Almere, you should definitely go here.

Delicious Breakfast Experience at Ekmekci, Almere I am very satisfied with my visit to Ekmekci in Almere. The service is excellent and everyone is happy to help you with a warm smile. The all-in breakfast was not only very affordable (only €15.50), but also of high quality. I enjoyed an extra tasty gozleme, which is definitely recommended. The icing on the cake? Enjoy unlimited delicious Turkish tea! I will definitely come back here again.

I recently ordered a flame on piri piri gözleme and my experience was downright disgusting. There was a hair on my board where the food was reserved. This is really not acceptable, especially when others have complained about this before. Apparently almost nothing is done with this feedback, which only makes things worse. Hygiene should be priority number 1 in the catering industry. Hopefully something will be done about this as soon as possible because this is very disappointing.
