Ekmekci Eindhoven in Centrum

Picked something up here today to take away. First of all, really way too expensive for what you get... The sandwich was really too small for that price. Then, a latte macchiato with coconut milk where the cup wasn't even full... And that costs €5.50! It wasn't even tasty because there was way too much coffee... Then you pay an extra €1 for the coconut milk, of which apparently only a tiny bit is used. This is a real rip-off; we were planning to have breakfast here sometime, but after this experience, you will never see us again.

Had a super tasty watermelon-strawberry drink with stuffed potato pesto. The service was fast and the staff were friendly.

Not bad. The gözleme (Turkish flatbread) was delicious. However, the price is a bit high overall; you can have a better buffet breakfast elsewhere for that price. The full breakfast menu only included two tomatoes and two slices of cucumber. The cheese was tiny, just two or two cubes. The white cheese looked like it had been sitting for a while, its shape had changed. The stale éclairs were served reheated. The simit (Turkish bagel) wasn't bad. The only good thing was that there were plenty of eggs. The tea was in a large glass and well-brewed. Also, the seats were covered in food scraps and crumbs, and were all stained. It had a neglected feel to it. Overall, it wasn't bad, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Loud and bad music, a poor and low-quality breakfast for €18. The atmosphere was very bad. Expensive and low quality.

The food is very tasty, even tastier than at the other branches I have been to, but I find the service and atmosphere at the other branches nicer.

We came to ask for our order, and after half an hour they came back to say they hadn't received a ticket, so unfortunately we had to cancel. Still, they asked for 3 euros worth of water :)

We ordered Chicken Pesto and received the wrong kind. When we asked about it, we simply said they were out of pesto and the chef simply used a different sauce without consulting us. Our food arrived before our drinks, and we even had to wait 10 minutes for our drinks afterward. We didn't receive a fork, knife, or napkin with our food until we asked about it. The service was simply slow and unprofessional, and the music was way too loud.

We ordered food with a group of colleagues, and it was inedible. The food was cold and the fries weren't cooked through. The order wasn't complete either. The service was also poor. The missing menus couldn't be delivered immediately. We had to call back for that. Ultimately, it was delivered three hours later.

Ordered 2 chicken donor kapsalons. The fries were rock hard, and you had to search for the donor chicken, so little. When I mentioned it at checkout, all I got was an apology, and that was it. That wasn't something I'd repeat the last time I visited.

Be careful while eating, as there may be glass in the food. Pay close attention to the tableware. We reported this issue to the manager. One broken glass was replaced with a smaller one. The drink was simply poured over instead of replaced, despite the risk of shards of glass. This is an extreme dining experience: delicious, but dangerous. Looking for a thrill? Then you've come to the right place.

If you'd like a good Turkish breakfast in the morning, right in the center of Eindhoven, this place is highly recommended! It's a place with very friendly people. We'd also like to thank Nevra for the great atmosphere!

I had a chicken piri piri sandwich with pesto mayo. It was awful. It was more like a vegetable sandwich with a few chicken pieces. It wasn't tasty either. I didn't even try the pesto sauce. Mezze was served with simit that wasn't fresh. Mezze was all mayonnaise. It was truly awful. Don't expect Turkish mezze.

One of the worst breakfast place I have ever been. As a Turkish people we wanted to eat Turkish breakfast but only names were Turkish in the menu, the rest was something else. Restaurant was very cold and so noisy. While waiting I have checked the reviews on google and even I saw that 2 years ago people wrote the same things and restaurant owners never fixed them. So it was my mistake to sit but was too late. AND especially the MUSIC!!! So loudly! In principle I will never come here for a disappointment!!!

The food arrived extremely late, and people who came after us were served before us. Our gözleme order was completely forgotten, and we had to wait even longer after reminding them. The service was totally disorganized and careless. The loud music was awful and ruined the atmosphere. On top of that, the place was freezing cold — we had to sit wearing our jackets. Zero comfort, zero customer care. Terrible experience. Waste of time. Never coming back. Not recommended at all.

We ordered a pizza with doner kebab. We received a doner kebab with literally a few slices of doner kebab. When we pointed this out, a 17- or 18-year-old boy was very grumpy and irritated because a server asked if we could put more doner kebab on it. For that reason alone, I wouldn't recommend this place; when you eat somewhere, you expect a bit of friendliness. The only positive was a very friendly woman in a headscarf who apologized and worked very hard. More people like that in your restaurant, please. And everyone else needs a course in friendliness.

A lovely place in the center of Eindhoven that offers a breakfast concept.

Parking is available outside in a private lot. No parking is available nearby. Family atmosphere. The portions are small for the price. I find it expensive for what it is. The food was good, but nothing special.

We felt like we were in our country. We enjoyed eating the kol borek. Everyone should come here. How happy is the one who says I am a Turk. We are Mustafa Kemal's soldiers.

A Turkish restaurant where the staff doesn't speak Turkish, English, or Dutch. Only "yes," "no," and "my colleague is coming, I can't now." Two pumpkin spice coffees tasted like diabetes in a glass, which we paid 13 euros for. Gozleme with egg and sucuk had a guest appearance by three stray pieces of sucuk, and the main ingredient in gozleme is salt. Moreover, after ordering, you can take a tour of the entire Benelux region, that's how long it took for us to get our food.

What a great place, the staff is incredibly friendly, and I recommend ordering the watermelon strawberry drink! It's so delicious! We've found our new regular spot!

I went to Ekmekci for the first time yesterday, and I'm so glad I did. I had kol böreği (a type of pastry) with tea and a latte. The kol böreği was delicious, and the tea and coffee were equally good. I didn't try any other items, but judging by the quality of the börek, coffee, and tea, I suspect their other products are prepared with the same care. The staff was attentive and friendly. I had the opportunity to watch the orders being prepared during my stay, and I was very impressed by how clean, organized, and meticulous their work was. The restaurant atmosphere was also very pleasant. The music was so good I didn't want to leave. For all these reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Ekmekci to everyone. I'll be visiting frequently from now on.

We were warmly greeted and given plenty of time to make our choice, without any rush or pressure, something you don't find everywhere these days. The restaurant itself is clean and fresh, with a charming and original decor that creates a cozy atmosphere. It has a modern yet warm feel, making you feel instantly at home. The food was served quickly and was deliciously fresh, just as you'd expect from a good lunch. As for value for money, it far exceeded our expectations. You definitely get a fair price for what you pay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Ekmekci!

The gözleme has nothing to do with gözleme; the tables are covered in grease. The cook is touching the cash register with his greasy hands, which is very, very bad.

Food was very good, came quick. There was only just me and a couple of people to be fair tho. I had the eggy(something. Scrambled eggs, had it with sucuk, tomatoes and young cheese. Tasted great, nice big portion. Ambience and decoration really lovely. I will be back.

I waited an hour, even though it would have been shorter if I'd picked it up myself. When I arrived, they still hadn't made my order, and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes. It was during my break. Ridiculous. They didn't even compensate me for that. Not even an apology. When I got back to work, I saw that they hadn't added the ingredients I paid extra for. Worthless.

I had to wait 50 minutes for my gözleme, even though they initially said it would take 25 minutes. After I finally got my food, I discovered at work that they hadn't added the extra ingredients I'd been charged extra for. First and last time!

We had a reservation for 11:00, and now it's already 12:15, and I'm still waiting for my food. I have a saying: "If you can't make it, don't." Somebody needs to get fired.

The toilet was unpleasant and not properly cleaned; it was unhygienic and could definitely be improved.

I've never seen such terrible service and food. At a Turkish restaurant, you're expected to speak Turkish and be served delicious Turkish dishes. It's completely unacceptable. The servers speak only broken English and don't even know the menu by heart, so I had to explain everything step by step. I received the wrong order and made it very clear that I wasn't going to pay for it. The gözleme didn't even taste like gözleme; it was so unappetizing and fresh. The worst gözleme I've ever had, and it's overpriced for what you get. I wish I had taken a picture. I could list many more things, but save your money. This is the worst restaurant ever!

We came here especially from Lommel for breakfast, but unfortunately, we left feeling quite hungry because we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. After that, I went to the cash register myself to ask if someone would take our order, but after 30 minutes, no one was seen again, so the service was 0. No one who came after us had already eaten.

Turkish cay was very tasty. The loaded fries and salad were also very good and generous portions. I would recommend them. The gözleme, on the other hand, was much less impressive. There was so much cheese in it that it became elastic. It only tasted of fat. I wouldn't go back myself, but it's worth a visit. More Dutch than Turkish.

Ordered a regular hair salon today, it was cold at first, and it's the size of a miniature hair salon. This is just not right! I paid a total of €35 for it at two salons, and then I get this! Guys, don't order from here, this is a total scam!

We ordered breakfast here, but we only got one, and they forgot the others. The rolls were old and hard, like yesterday's. I ordered bread again and got the same old bread again, but this time they had reheated it in the oven. We also had to pay the full price even though we hadn't eaten half of it. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. We will never eat breakfast here again!

The food was good, but the Sufi music playing in the background should be changed; it turned a pleasant meal into a sad one. I recommend a playlist of popular Turkish songs.

The cake slices were quite dry, and we had to wait 20 minutes for them, which I don't mind. Besides being dry, it didn't taste all that great. I ordered an iced coffee with caramel, but the caramel was completely inedible, and that for €1 extra. In short, it was inedible. Quite overpriced, too.

We used to come here often, but haven't been in years. I have no idea what happened to the quality, but it has really deteriorated. We ordered a serpme kahvalti for breakfast, with an extra basket of bread. The bread was hard. When we complained, we received a new basket of bread, but this bread was cold/frozen. So please don't order a serpme kahvalti. The music is tinny, and I think the bass speaker was a bit old. Moreover, the hygiene is poor. You're eating under decorations that probably haven't been cleaned since the opening. A very thick layer of dust covered the tulips, lanterns, etc. And as an "apology," my husband and son were given a lollipop! No apology was forthcoming. We were still hungry, but we ate elsewhere. Definitely not something we'll be returning for, which is a real shame.

The food is truly amazing. A healthy sandwich overflowing with delicious treats and lots of vegetables—you get your money's worth. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, and the people are friendly. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back.
