I went to eat here alone. The food was very tasty; I particularly liked the smoky flavor. However, there is a standard selection you get. It wasn't convenient that I was alone because I couldn't finish it. It was my choice to go alone, so that is why it doesn't influence the review. The place looked cozy and the staff member was friendly and helpful. This is ideal for more than 2 people!

The meats were edible, but the meatballs and Adana kebab were irrelevant. I found the price and quality very poor. They only served tzatziki and salad as appetizers. You pay almost €100 per person and instead of premium service, you get a very casual experience. I give it a 3 out of 10 for price and quality.

They didn't mention the lamb as a charge at first; they said the concept meat was free but they wouldn't charge anything else, then they started charging anyway. It was awful.

A fantastic experience; you can barbecue there, the atmosphere in the restaurant is great, and the service is excellent. But the price is expensive, 55 euros per person.

A very bad experience: the place isn't clean and the food isn't fresh! It's also very expensive for what you get. Skip it if you're thinking of eating here.

Salt & Pepper BBQ Restaurant Eindhoven, Plenty of meat, but where's the passion? I've visited Salt & Pepper BBQ Restaurant in Eindhoven twice with a group of about 25 people. That's a good test: large groups require organization, pace, and a little extra hospitality. Let me start with the positive: the food isn't bad. No one went home hungry, and everything was perfectly edible. But that's about it. It lacks love. It lacks attention. It feels like the dishes are primarily "made" rather than prepared with passion. At a BBQ restaurant, you expect juicy meat, bold flavors, and that wow feeling from the first bite. Here, it remained a modest "meh, okay then." The atmosphere in the restaurant was rather flat both times. No real atmosphere, no energy, it felt a bit cold. Perhaps a snapshot, but the same experience twice tells us something. The service wasn't particularly welcoming either. We waited a long time for drinks several times and had to actively ask for attention. It felt a bit like we'd been abandoned. And with a group of 25, you want just a little more direction and engagement. Again: it's not dramatically bad. But it's certainly not great either. It's right in that dangerous middle ground where you shouldn't have a strong opinion—except that it just doesn't stick. In summary: • Food is okay, but lacks passion 🔥 • No real atmosphere or coziness 🪑 • Service is not very proactive, long waits for drinks 🥤 • Suitable for groups, but without the wow factor 👥 • Fills the stomach, but not the enthusiasm Conclusion: Salt & Pepper BBQ Restaurant is a place where you can eat without being disappointed, but also without a real experience. For me, the love in the dishes and the warmth in the service are missing. It could definitely be better. ⭐️⭐️ Two stars. For the fact that it was edible. But passion and hospitality really need to be elevated here. And a small detail: it's right around the corner from Gyros Chersonissos. If you could have sat inside, that would probably have been a better choice on these evenings. 😄🍴

Super delicious food and incredibly friendly people working there. I've been to Ortam before, but I found the food there absolutely awful. The food here is clearly much better quality – a world of difference. Another nice thing: normally you smell all over the place afterward, but not at all here. They clearly have good ventilation. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back!

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The food was good, but some of the meat was really tough. What I found really odd was that you had to pay separately for the sauces. At that price, it really should be included. Normally, you pay 45 euros per person, but for two people, we paid 25 euros more under the guise of an "iftar." The strange thing is that for that price, you don't get any extras at all. The so-called iftar menu is nothing more than what you normally get, with only a date added. Definitely not worth it, and I expected much more for that price.

A very nice concept, with friendly staff, I didn't expect much but it exceeded my expectations. The meat was well marinated and the salad and bulgur were great. Unfortunately there are no desserts other than ice cream. It would be nice to have something else :)

We went with our guests and left very happy. The meats and salads were delicious. You really leave here completely full and satisfied. Although it was a grill, there was no smoke or disturbing smell inside.

Top location to go with family or group of friends. You feel so comfortable there and you want to enjoy it for hours. Eat unlimited meat, fries, rice and salad. The meat in particular is marinated so well. Everything is so tender when grilled. Definitely recommended for good meat eaters.

Iftar BBQ at Salt & Pepper. Extractor hood above the BBQ hangs extremely low. Steak was tough. Adana too spicy, otherwise the meat was good. Also there is no option for fish. Too bad about the sauce at the BBQ for which you have to pay extra.

all the meat was not of good quality, it looked tasty but it was not the end result, fries were thick at first and every time we got more fries they became less. otherwise fast service

The food itself was fine. Well priced and without any fish. You are looking at the extractor hood all the time, it is very low and the place is still full of smoke. How drinks are served is really not possible. Serve bottles at the top of the neck near the opening without a tray or glass. Strange that at this price you still have to pay €40 extra for a sauce with your meat. Really not possible. Not a second time for us unfortunately.

Tasty meat with a mixed bowl which is sufficient. Service is a bit slow and one waiter could do with it. Atmosphere feels a bit old-fashioned, bare and dark. The extractors may also hang 10 cm higher because you cannot see the other side of the table.

Went for dinner yesterday with a group of 10 people. Friendly and helpful staff. Meat is of good quality. No fish. Dessert limited. Great place if you feel like having a BBQ, and importantly, good extraction so that the smell does not get into your clothes or hair.

We went on a weekday and it was nice and quiet. Enough food options and excellent service. Also halal if you want to go with people who have to pay attention to this.

Delicious food, you get a variety of meat to grill yourself on the BBQ, very nice! The table was also full of various side dishes such as salad / bread / fries and bulgur. Employee was very friendly and worked hard to provide good service for every guest. In terms of atmosphere, the music could be a little louder. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to friends/acquaintances!

Alles was prima! Goeie service en klantvriendelijk. Alleen dat ene meisje (blond) mag beetje dr houding veranderen.

Food service was kind of well organized. But 40€ for all you can eat menu ?? Too much! We asked if a waitress can give a tap water and the response was “we don’t have that option”. Really?? That is going to be the last visit for me and my friends to this organization!

Your meat is good, but you even asked for Turkish tea from us, even though it is in a Turkish place. let's get it, tap water or even tap water with money! it doesn't suit you at all salt and pepper team !! 😡

Soep en meze waren heerlijk(zoals ik thuis ben gewend)Vlees wat we bij de BBQ kregen was ook lekker! Jammer dat de afzuigkappen iets te laag staan maar voor de rest goed genoten. Zeker waard om weer eens langs te gaan.

Echt een aanrader lekkere eten en echt een top service. Hele vriendelijke bedieners en medewerkers. We hadden vergeten aan te geven dat we ook kunefe besteld hadden toen we aan het betalen waren wij geven het aan dat we dat nog miste op de bon en we wouden er nog voor betalen maar de man achter de kassa drong aan op dat we het van hem gratis kregen zelfs na extra aandringen dat we het wouden betalen. Al om al echt een top service.

Prijs kwaliteitverhouding waardeloos. 0,75 ml water voor €7,50. En dat tijdens de ramadan. Denk dat we zamzam water geserveerd hebben gekregen. Bediening op 1 dame na ook chagrijnig. Als we om extra vlees vroegen, kwam het pas na 20-25 minuten. Eerste en laatste keer!

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en het concept is goed omdat weinig druk geeft op het personeel. Zodra je friet wilt krijg je het ook gelijk binnen 5 minuten ook met drinken. Dus dat is heel fijn. Ook de tzatiki saus was heel lekker met stokbrood. Friet smaakte goed. Alleen een tip aan eigenaar. Zorg ervoor dat sommige tafels waterpas staan. Sommige klanten rekenen hier op af

Super vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten.

Ik vond het verschrikkelijk, met mijn kinderen gaan eten, geen sfeer ( achtergrondmuziek oid) geen saladebar oid, een bakje sla en een bakje friet met een bord vlees. Voor hetzelfde bedrag ga je allinclusief eten bij lundi ofzo met desserts enz. Valt wel een leuke zaak van te maar de setting en het aanbod is geen 30 pp waard

Dat was lekker Bbq sfeer in winter . Alles wordt kant en klaar bij gezet, Je hoef maar gezellig zelf bakken . Voor herhaling vat baar.

Ik kan niet zeggen dat het slecht was. Dat zeker niet. Maar door een aantal kleine dingen was het ook weer niet echt goed

Goed eten, veel verschillende gerechtjes , ruime keuze en erg vriendelijk personeel.

Van te voren gereserveerd en optie a la carte doorgegeven. Bevestiging bleef echter uit. Toch gegaan en de zaak was aardig leeg. Doorgaans geen goed voorteken. Jonge bediende kwam ons tegemoet en dirigeerde ons zonder iets te vragen naar een bbq tafel. Niet veel later wil ze de linzensoep serveren wat blijkbaar onderdeel is van het bbq arrangement. Nogmaals uitgelegd dat we gereserveerd hebben voor a la carte. Vervolgens naar een andere tafel gedirigeerd tegenover een waterpartijtje die je vroeger vaak bij een Chinees restaurant aantrof. We bestelden twee voorgerechten en als hoofdgerecht de T-Bone en gegrilde ossenhaas voor 24 euro per stuk. Kindermenu ontbrak maar serveerster stelde gegrilde kippenvleugels (15 euro) voor dus deze genomen. Na lang wachten de serveerster aangesproken waar onze drankjes bleven. Na een sorry werden deze meteen uitgeserveerd en kregen we te horen dat de voorgerechten er niet waren. Dus nog meer wachten en na 45 minuten kregen we de gerechten binnen. De ossenhaas was in stukken gesneden en dus erg droog! De T-Bone was droog ondanks dat deze op sommige plekken van binnen nog rauw was. Gezien het inmiddels ontstane rookgordijn van de bbq tafels tegenover maar snel de rekening gevraagd en huiswaarts gekeerd. Gezien de bediening, snelheid, sfeer, kwaliteit en een paar stoflongen rijker geen aanrader!

Het eten was heel lekker en veel, dat was zeker een plus. Na ronde 1 zaten we al aardig goed vol. Wel veel dingen laten liggen zoals salade friet etc. Personeel was niet klantvriendelijk, één dame in het bijzonder. We kregen achteraf geen nagerecht of thee aangeboden terwijl sommige tafels dit wel kregen.

Wij zijn met 8 personen wezen bbq'en en het was eerlijk! Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed! Heerlijk gegeten. Je kunt zelf bepalen hoe veel of hoe weinig je eet, dus geen verspilling of een tekortkoming. Eigenaar personeel top! Op een serveerster na. Ze mag best wat vriendelijker zijn. Melding van gemaakt en super opgepakt door de eigenaar! Zeker een aanrader en zeker de moeite waard! Wij zullen vaker komen eten. Je krijgt vooraf tapas (meze), soep, vervolgens vlees, rijst, salade etc.

Groot restaurant, geen gezellige sfeer. Vieze afzuigkappen boven de grill, stofwolken en vet waren duidelijk te zien. Vage koude voorgerechten. De kennismakingsschotel was direct heel veel vlees. De standaard (brood, rijst, salade, friet) waren ok maar niet alles was nodig voor ons. Helft niet aangeraakt. Ik zou zeker niet terugkeren. Voor dat bedrag kan je in een aangenamere all you can eat vertoeven.
