El Fuego in Wijk 04 Domburg

We were in Domburg for 4 days and went twice to this wonderful Mexican restaurant, El Fuego. We had Dennis, a friendly and attentive staff member, recommend his favorite dish: Fehitas Chicken sweet & spicy with extra garlic along with a nice beer and wine. We had a great evening with delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend El Fuego and thank Dennis for his great service!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in de serre, die gezellig en sfeervol was ingericht met mooie sierhaarden. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen welkom voelden. Ik had de ossenhaas besteld en dat bleek een uitstekend stuk vlees te zijn — perfect bereid. Ook kon je zonder extra kosten een lekkere salade halen bij het saladebuffet, wat een fijne toevoeging was. Mijn vriend koos voor de varkenshaas en was ook erg te spreken over de kwaliteit en smaak. Als dessert kregen we een combinatie van crème brûlée, bosvruchtenijs, cheesecake en een brownie met slagroom. De cheesecake sprong er echt uit en was heerlijk romig. De brownie viel helaas wat tegen; deze was aan de droge kant en had weinig smaak. Bij het hoofdgerecht dronk ik een rode wijn, een tempranillo. Deze viel wat tegen en deed denken aan een wijn uit de supermarkt. Al met al waren we super tevreden over onze avond. Als er nog kleine verbeterpuntjes zijn: de brownie en de wijn zouden net wat beter kunnen, maar dat deed weinig af aan de fijne ervaring. We komen graag terug!

Super lekker gegeten en hele vriendelijke en enthousiaste bediening. Ik had spareribs op aanraden van de ober gekozen en ze waren verrukkelijk! Mijn partner had fajitas en deze waren ook heel erg smakelijk. De homemade cheesecake met frambozen en witte chocolade is ook een echte aanrader wat ons betreft. De saladebar was ook erg uitgebreid. Kortom, hier gaan we zeker terugkomen in onze vakantie.

Heeeeeeerlijk, vers, gevarieerd eten! Erg klantvriendelijk personeel, een warm bad. Misschien wel even reserveren van te voren! Wij hadden geluk, maar velen na ons niet.

Wieder einmal haben wir dieses Restaurant in Domburg besucht. Und auch diesmal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Die Spareribs waren hervorragend. Bedienung freundlich. Reservierung erforderlich

Heerlijk eten en zeer vriendelijke bediening het was gezellig in het leuke hoekje waar we de volgende keer graag weer gaan zitten.

Das Feugo hat uns während unseres Aufenthalts viel Freude bereitet. Die Sizzling Fajita Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann hier auch auf deutsch bestellen

The food was very tasty, the service was very good and the waiters were very attentive, courteous and nice. The portions are really big and you'll be more than full. The prices for the portions are more than justified. We will definitely be back and are really looking forward to it. We managed to get a table spontaneously, but a reservation is definitely a good idea.

Super tasty and we actually wanted to go somewhere else, but next time we'll stop by again, especially the original ribs were very tasty 😋 If it tastes this good next time, there will be the deserved 5* Good luck and good things to you until next year.

Enchiladas with chicken and lamb skewers

Super fast and friendly service. But other than seeing tacos and burritos, there was very little that felt Mexican. That may partly be due to my vegetarian choice. But the beans, the rice, the guacamole, all very flat in taste. As far as I'm concerned, it's not recommended. Although it won't make any difference to the crowds, given the large occupancy.

Very cozy restaurant. Always busy. Very friendly staff. I found the tacos and burritos very dry the last time. Maybe they had been ready for a while? That was a shame but otherwise a nice thing.

Had a delicious meal last night. Had to wait a while for the table but were promptly offered a drink on the house. The meat, beans and rice were delicious. The guacamole of art. Service very friendly, definitely recommended.

Also busy on weekdays (Wednesday), a reservation is recommended from 6.30 p.m. Very friendly staff, good quality food, what more could you want 😉

Very good Mexican in Domburg. The food is very good, tastes excellent, not too spicy, as is often the case with Mexicans. The service was very friendly, the view was great, right in the center. You can eat very well here, the prices are not too high, the quality justifies the price. The restaurant is highly recommended.

We showed up for the first time at 8:30 p.m., but we were refused because the kitchen closes at 9 p.m.... (remains open at 10 p.m.). We returned later in the week at 6:30 p.m. this time. Good meal, good quantities

We go back every year when we are in Domburg and that says enough, although we think it is on the pricey side.

Very friendly and quick service, especially in such a busy place. The Frozen Margherita was very tasty. The meal didn't really taste 'Mexican'. We missed cilantro and jalapeños. The vegetarian Dos Tacos contained a lot of celery, which gives more of a soup vegetable feeling than Mexican. Too bad, because the atmosphere and service were good.

Wat een leuk, gezellige en heerlijk restaurant. Echt top Mexicaans gegeten. Een aanrader! Niet goedkoop maar voor de heerlijke gerechten wel de moeite waard!

Pay extra for sour cream or guacamole with nachos and pay extra for mayonnaise with fries... some things should simply be included. Service was very friendly.

We have rarely experienced such attentive and child-friendly service. Everything is perfect here from start to finish. The food is super tasty and the price is reasonable given the quality.

Wir waren gestern Abend dort mal wieder essen und ich muss sagen, gleich bleibend gute Qualität und große Portionen. Zwar etwas laut und sehr voll, aber sonst rund um empfehlenswert.

Hel vaak in Domburg, maar voor het eerst bij gegeten en gedronken bij El Fuego. Het is ons prima bevallen. Hoge kwaliteit vlees. Goed en op smaak klaargemaakt. Niet goedkoop, maar wel waar voor je geld. Kleine tegenvaller was, dat voor de twisters moest worden betaald en dat de tortillas niet in mindering werden gebracht. Mooie wijnen, ofschoon de Rioja beter smaakte dan de Portillo. Vriendelijke en vrolijke bediening. Hier gaan we zeker nog vaker eten!

Prima en snelle bediening. Heerlijke saladebar vooraf, zelf ophalen, mooi assortiment. Fijne gerechten, snel en vakkundig opgediend door gemotiveerd personeel. Drukbezocht, reserveren dus. Heerlijke toetjes.

Super friendly waitress when you register around 7pm without a reservation. Probably with a lot of luck only a queue time of 5 minutes at the most.

We had a lovely evening with very good food. Spare ribs, tachos, enchiada, dips and everything else was great. Worth emphasizing is the salad bar, where you can have a salad. All salads were freshly made and tasted really delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and tidy. P.S. : Beer in Holland is now very expensive. 0.5l FROM 6.25 euros You can get a good bottle of wine here for 24 euros. Bottled wine according to the internet for 10 euros. The wine was delicious and perfectly priced. It is highly recommended. On site again in 2024. It hasn't changed. The food was excellent, service was friendly and quick. You have to make a reservation to get a seat.

Delicious food! But you really have to go after 2 o'clock. Even though the main course took a long time to be delivered... if we wanted dessert, this had to be done urgently.

If you are looking for a nice and somewhat exquisite restaurant in Domburg, you will definitely find it here at El-Fuego. The menu offers a selection of Mexican and various grill/meat dishes. The lamb skewers in particular are incredibly tender and taste fantastic in combination with the garlic sauce. The Mexican dishes and the friendly service are also impressive. The downside, as is often the case, is the very high prices, although I think you can hardly expect anything else in Domburg. You will hardly find anything here for less than €25 per dish. The portion sizes are not oversized either. All in all, a recommendation because the food is simply convincing. I would say 4.5 stars.

Friendly and uncomplicated service staff. Dogs allowed outside and in the winter garden. The food not only looked good, but also tasted very good. Personally, I just expected it to be more Mexican and therefore hotter/spicier. I had 3 courses. Is absolutely recommended.

Food was tasty, nothing to complain about. I just thought the atmosphere was less. The food was served quickly, but it was so fast that you were outside again within an hour. (Starter, main course and dessert) I expected more because everyone is so positive. Not the experience of a nice evening out for dinner and drinks. I wouldn't necessarily drive to Domburg again especially for el fuego.
