Lovely Spanish restaurant, delicious paella

A beautiful Spanish restaurant with fresh and delicious dishes. The hosts are very welcoming and we will be happy to return again and again.

Super delicious food. The prices didn't seem particularly cheap at first glance, but we (luckily) decided to eat here, and it was simply fantastic. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality and freshness. The portions are more than ample. The service is very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Every year in April and September, we love going to this restaurant with its wonderful ambiance. The service is excellent and the food is high quality. We already reserved a table in April for our arrival date in September. Unfortunately, we forgot to write a review for our visits in April. Now we're really looking forward to meeting the owner, who still cooks herself, her son, and the excellent service staff.

Went there last year at 2:30 pm...today at 3:00 pm, unfortunately closed...Google says it's open 4:00 pm...okay, a quick stroll along the beach and at 4:00 pm, back to a closed door...she shouts, "Sjaggi," yes, open 5:00 pm. Please provide accurate information; it will save a lot of disappointment... 😔 Replying to your comment from the restaurant, you were eating outside...so there was no real reason for it to be closed...and since I wasn't there, I'm giving it 1 star for everything. I didn't get to eat anything...I clearly state the opening hours...oh, and we drove to Vlissingen, luckily we had a really good and tasty tapas...so all's well that ends well.

They have the BEST tapas here! A must-try! We had a mixed tapas platter for two. It was excellent. Perfect for sharing and enjoying! It was accompanied by a really delicious red wine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We felt completely at home. The ambiance (we sat inside) was also really nice.

We spent a wonderful evening yesterday at El Corazon. A small but charming family-run tapas bar. The service was absolutely friendly. The food was incredibly delicious, with a variety of tapas beautifully presented and absolutely nothing was missing. We highly recommend El Corazon for a pleasant, enjoyable evening with delicious tapas and would gladly return.

El Corazon – simply love it! Our expectations were far exceeded during our visit to El Corazon. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly atmosphere that lasted the entire evening. The entire team is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome and at ease. And the food? Simply indescribably delicious! Every single tapas creation was a feast for the senses – freshly prepared, authentic, and full of flavor. You can tell that the food is cooked with passion and high-quality ingredients. El Corazon is definitely a place we'll happily return to again and again. An absolute must for all tapas lovers and those who want to enjoy an evening in a warm atmosphere with fantastic food. We wholeheartedly recommend El Corazon and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We expected more. €30 for this mixed tapas platter (1 person) is already overpriced. It was very simple (mini bowls, sampler size), and the quality of the individual tapas wasn't sensationally good, more average. Two careless slices of baguette, 5 (!) nachos next to them, and a joke about a melon on the board as a game of hide-and-seek (the food mentioned wasn't in a basket, nor were they separately packaged) – that could have been done without. Probably typical for tourist regions, and unfortunately not an isolated incident. It could have been better.

We loved that Tapas Bar from the first time. Went there a couple of times during our stay in zoutelande. The food and sangria are awesome!! Inside it is so nice with lots of flowers. And i want to say that the service is exorbitant. Can only recommend this place. Gracias for the great times 😀

A very nice Spanish restaurant. We had a very tasty, well-mixed tapas platter. The quality was excellent. The only thing that was a bit too much was the price, around €32. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was quite okay. The tapas selection was also OK, but everything was a bit too expensive; four individual tapas would cost €40. That's why we chose the tapas platter; I definitely recommend it.

We stumbled upon this restaurant today quite spontaneously, and it was worth every euro. Since we were traveling with two dogs, we booked an indoor table. The atmosphere is truly cozy and made us want to stay longer than planned. The service is very friendly and attentive. We opted for the tapas platter for two, and it was not only delicious but also filling. Even the dogs had a treat left over. All in all, thank you for a lovely evening. I hope you continue to be a loyal customer for a long time.

One word alone: amazing! Simply an outstanding restaurant! The waitress was very attentive and extremely polite! The food was outstanding. The attached photo shows a photo of the mixed platter for one person. The quality of the food is comparable to what you'd expect from Spain. The sangria was also a treat – just like the rest of the dishes. The ambiance was wonderful with Spanish music. Our Cocker Spaniel even received fresh water from its own bowl right from the start, and later, treats. What can I say? Go there and immerse yourself in the Spanish atmosphere! We ate here twice during our short vacation in Zoutelande... and both times we were delighted. The pleasant atmosphere offers very friendly and informal service – by the second visit, we already felt like regulars. The dishes – from the tapas menu right through to the menu – were consistently of excellent quality, or simply put: simply delicious.

A very warm and friendly welcome, and an exceptional ambiance. The menu is straightforward and features typical Spanish specialties. Absolutely excellent value for money. We enjoyed our meal and felt completely at home. We would gladly return to this cozy restaurant.

Hello I was impressed with the food and the service. My personal highlight was the cute doggy. I will come again.

We happened to pass by the restaurant at lunchtime on our weekend trip and spoke to a friendly waiter who reserved us a table for the evening. We had the mixed tapas for starters, and the octopus and Spanish goulash for main courses. Both dishes were very authentic and tasted really good. The service staff was very attentive and courteous. The ambiance is like being in Spain: small but nice, very cozy with lots of plants and flowers in the dining room. All in all, highly recommended if you get lost in this small town. The only drawback: Without a reservation, it's impossible to find a table in the evening on weekends, as it seems to be quite popular. However, this also speaks volumes about the restaurant. ;-)

Great service, very warm and committed with an excellent recommendation for a degestif ("Carlos", a Beandy, definitely remember!). Very, very tasty food.😋 Completely authentic and beautifully presented. The wine was also delicious (which we had, we will try the others on the next visits 😉). Since there are around 40 places, you should reserve. Highly recommended!

We had booked a table for 7:30 p.m. Since the restaurant was occupied, we waited about 30 minutes in front of the restaurant. Then a table became available and we could sit down. After about 15 minutes we were asked if we would like something to drink. I replied that we would also like to eat something. Another 15 minutes later I asked the waiter, who had now been serving new guests with food and drinks, why we weren't being served, and he just said that he was stressed.. and we could leave again...which is what we did! I have never experienced such arrogance and impudence from a waiter... That doesn't fit with the otherwise good reviews... Nevertheless, I will not visit this restaurant again.

The food is freshly prepared and tastes simply delicious 👍👍👍 the staff is very warm and you always feel very comfortable 🥰🥰 If you're not into Spanish cuisine, you should definitely try the schnitzels, which are no longer on the menu, just great 😄 we're really looking forward to the next time ❤️

Have recently visited the restaurant. Unfortunately no table reserved. And were put off. This time everything worked out. Nice to sit in the sun. Service was quick and attentive. Ordered the platter for 2 people. It was really tasty. Like in Spain! We'll be back...and will make a reservation too. Reservation via WhatsApp was very easy! We were there at the beginning of January 2025 and actually just stopped by by chance. We were VERY PLEASANTLY surprised. It was early Friday evening and not much was going on. What I don't understand, because the food is really great and sumptuous, the service is warm and courteous! A real insider tip! It's worth eating there!

Great Spanish restaurant in Zoutelande! Super tasty and high quality food. Personally, I enjoyed the tapas plate, piementos, aioli, tortilla, Manchego cheese croquettes, albondigas, fish pot and cuttlefish. The Spanish red wine Riocha and the sangria of course too :) The friendly owner of the restaurant tries to make every guest feel comfortable and satisfied. She is happy to accommodate vegetarian requests. During our vacation we had a pleasant time there several times with delicious food, courteous staff, nice and satisfied guests. We look forward to seeing you again!!

I was at this restaurant today and I must say that I am often in Spain and the food was even better than the original Tapas. The tapas are fresh and large portions, I recommend Tapas mix pulpo, sepia and large Garnielen. The service is very nice and among the nationals speaking German, Polish, Spanish and Dutch. The atmosphere is as if you were at home. I recommend it to everyone who appreciates good Spanish Cuisines.

The host only speaks German. She is certainly friendly and enthusiastic, but don't go to Chill restaurant if you expect authentic Spanish tapas. Expect a German version of Spanish tapas.

But it's also tempting that she likes to include little things from other nations on the current map. Evaluating the dishes individually here would go beyond the scope. 4 and 5., 11 2024 we visited a chill restaurant in Zoutelande and that was an experience from the friendly owner Patricia who will welcome you with love. We will definitely come back. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious and žijí still has great Haart for animals and pre-emption treats for dogs. Patricia thank you for everything and we hope to see you soon. Don't expect culinary delights, just good food in a casual atmosphere.

We came in Oct 19 and the atmosphere was really great! There was no room, but a sweet employee said we could come back in 30 minutes and that she had room! We took different tapas for good price and it was really delicious! And then that evening itself a great fireworks show in the city!

Well, I once went to a Mexican restaurant in Assen where they served food that had nothing to do with Mexican. The same applies here. You didn't expect tapas here. But something that looks like a German interpretation. The gypsy sauce with the bone-dry schnitzel was something of a thin watery liquid with something like vegetables and sour bomb floating in it. This is only for German tourists. But even those don't close the door. By the way, it is also far too expensive

Very nice restaurant with very friendly service. You can also eat on the terrace in the summer months. We took the tapas platter for two with extra fries. Tasty snacks put together by the chef, they were well received, the fries were very tasty and clearly fried in fresh oil. I think the prices are completely okay for what you get. A real tip. The TapasBar Chill has been around since Easter. We ate here for the first time today. It was great. Very good service, friendly service and super delicious food. We went to Chill twice during our holiday week. A beautiful restaurant with an owner who you can tell puts her heart and soul into what she does. Attentive service and very good cuisine. The tapas plate is very diverse and delicious, as is the fish pot. The Irish steaks are also highly recommended! The restaurant is also extremely dog-friendly.
