What a wonderful place to enjoy a beautiful dinner!

The menu was as fantastic from start to finish as I have rarely experienced. Exquisite, local, innovative, personal – simply top class all around. The personal service was also nice: for each course, a different young man came out of the kitchen and enthusiastically described the dish. We are thrilled.

Just WOW 🤩 I have rarely had such a wonderful evening as I did here! Incredible dishes with a taste explosion on the tongue and service that fulfills every wish. What more could you want? Great respect for this outstanding achievement!

Our house was in excellent condition and it was nice that we could get in a little earlier than the official check-in time. Too bad you can only dine on Fri, Sat and Sun, while the website also lists Thursday, the only day we were there. When asked what time we wanted breakfast, we replied: “8:00 please”. “That will be half past eight” was literally the response. We didn't know how to respond so we just left it at that. Breakfast (which was very tasty by the way) finally arrived at 8.55, even without any excuse for it being so late. Then we were done with it. We had wonderful days, didn't see or speak to anyone from the staff and we left without saying goodbye. Fatigue from a busy high season may play a role.

Simply indescribable. Have eaten here several times. Different every time, and always surprising! I don't know a better restaurant, certainly not in the area. Service top, kitchen top, and Marcel and Irma also top!👍🏻 Definitely recommended for anyone who likes really good food

You will be spoiled with delicious, surprising taste sensations. We took the 4 course menu which was not indicated on the menu due to a printing error. Only the options for 5 and 6 courses were shown there. For me, the 4-course menu consisted of mackerel, asparagus, beef and a delicious dessert. My girlfriend was pregnant and without any problem my dishes were accompanied by the most delicious vegetarian snacks for my girlfriend. She also enjoyed the homemade, matching Kumbuthas. We had a very nice welcome from the owner who also had a nice chat with you at the table. The other members of the (kitchen) service were also attentive! Sometimes drinks were unfortunately forgotten and the service was not always present, but you quickly forgive that when you are pampered with all the beautiful dishes. Anyone who wants to eat here will have to pay for it. For 5 courses you pay €69 pp and for 6 courses you pay €74 pp. Matching glasses of wine cost €9. A small downside is the rate charged for water (€7 per person for the entire evening). That is really outdated. Especially where the restaurant is so progressive in other areas. The prices may be a bit higher, but you really get quality in return! And what a wonderful atmosphere the restaurant (parental home of the owner) has with great acoustics! We will definitely come back.

An experience. We have been coming here for several years. And it's great every time. Really different from a “normal” good (star) restaurant

In October we booked the "Room: Rob-a-Deux", but were disappointed when we arrived. The room looked very different in the photos than in reality, which felt like a deception. Unfortunately, the owner was not hospitable, and the price we paid was not commensurate with what we got. It's a shame that the experience did not meet our expectations, and we will unfortunately not be back.

Ate for the second time and once again fantastic!

It was really a nice surprise, this wonderful dinner with a dear friend in the restaurant "Hof an Zee" in Dishoek. Luckily, without a reservation, we got through the waiting list the next day to a table for two and a 5-course/6-course menu. The host couple and the entire team were very personal and warm in their dealings with the guests. Great service all around. Wonderful amuses bouches, great little fine dishes around the coucillage. A highlight for me was the duck tartare with separately fried crispy duck skin and a wonderful potato foam on the side. The appearance of freshly baked bread - very successful in an extra course. The fresh, delicious parsley oil also appeared often and refined the taste. We would very much like to come back and have already recommended the “Hof an Zee” many times. Thank you for a nice evening.

Each of the five courses was a culinary delight. The meal lasted three hours without feeling full. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant, where cooking is done with empathy. The problem, however, is that the restaurant is usually fully booked. Which isn't surprising either.

I would have given 6 stars. What a wonderful culinary experience. Marcel Meijer and his team make beautiful creations with pure Zeeland products. And the hospitality, the pairing of wines and kambuchas and advice from Irma Goedbloed is top notch! Everything elegant and finished! A visit to court by the sea: life time experience. Thanks!!🙏🙏🙏

Super tasty frozen yoghurt. To enjoy under the trees.

Wir waren jetzt eine Woche dort und es war sooo schön. Die Umgebung ist super schön, die Besitzer + Oslo der Hund sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr gemütlich. Man hat dort auch Netflix und Amazon prime kostenlos. Der Weg zum Strand ist schön kurz ca 350m. Unsere Hunde waren willkommen. Wir vermissen es sehr dort zu sein ! Im Restaurant selber waren wir nicht, weil dies einfach sehr teuer ist. Der Supermarkt und Aldi sind mit dem Auto ca 4 Minuten entfernt. Das einzige was ich bemängeln könnte, ist, dass man am Abreisetag bis 10 Uhr aus dem Haus raus sein muß. Das war stressig und hat mich genervt. Aber ansonsten war es ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub.

Overheerlijk gegeten en genoten van de erg vriendelijke ontvangst. We lieten ons verrassen door de Zeeuwse/Scandinavische keuken en begeleidende wijnen. Het totale plaatje klopt! Perfect!

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Marcel en Irma. Het verblijf was maar voor één nachtje maar wij komen zeker terug. De kamer was super schoon met alles erop en eraan.

Wow! Why haven't we found our heard of them earlier?? This is absolute a place to go. Superb food! In the house where the enthusiastic owner was born is now this restaurant. We enjoyed the 6 course dinner and everything we had was spectacular. Can surely recommend this to make a reservation ! Enjoy! We will definitely return soonest!

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage im Hof aan Zee. Das Ferienhaus (Haus 7) lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist gemütlich, großzügig und hell. Fußbodenheizung, Walk-In Dusche, moderne Einrichtung, bequeme Betten, ruhig, direkt hinter dem Deich gelegen: Was will man mehr. Wir kommen wieder!

14 Gäste im schönen Restaurant. Die Bedienung schafft es nur sehr bedingt die holländische Speisekarte ins Englische oder Deutsche zu übersetzen. Die zwei Amuses bouches bestehen aus Brotvariationen. Die erste Vorspeise kommt nach einer Stunde: japanische Schimmelsauce erschlägt Jacobsmuscheln. Die zweite Vorspeise - Tintenfisch im Sud - schmeckt nach Sud. Die Hauptspeise - Hirschfilet mit Beilagen - erreicht kaum durchschnittliche Qualität. Die Bitte um ein Glas Rotwwin wird erfüllt. Ohne Nachfrage welche Sorte gewünscht wird. Die Flasche wird erst gezeigt als wir darum bitten. Auf das Dessert haben wir verzichtet. Insgesamt: eher Schein als Sein. Die Tatsache, dass am Wochenende nur 5 oder 6 Gänge bestellt werden können, rundet ein schwaches Bild ab. Fazit: nicht zu empfehlen.

Alles klopt in dit verrukkelijke huis! Bediening, gerechten, wijnkeuze, organisatie, originaliteit, kwaliteit, regionaliteit én… wat een team, wauw!

Unglaublich und einzigartig. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Alle Speisen des Menu wurden uns bei jedem Gang genau erklärt und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Platz und konnten die Zubereiten unserer Speisen direkt verfolgen und der Koch brachte jeden einzelnen Gang zu unserem Tisch. Das Sylvestermenu war absolut top. Die Besitzer waren stets aufmerksam und kamen am Tisch vorbei und erkundigten sich, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Alles in allem waren wir sehr begeistert. Das Lokal ist herrlich eingerichtet und alles war super sauber und man konnte sich herrlich entspannen und genießen. Das Lokal ist für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet und man kann direkt vor dem Haus parken.

Wat hebben wij genoten. Met een groep van 10 personen. Hebben ook bij Kaatje aan de Sluis gegeten en bij Zusje van Librije, maar dit restaurant verdient wat ons betreft ook een Michelin ster. Alles heel smaakvol, mooi opgemaakt, verrassende originele gerechten. Heerlijke bijpassende wijnen of sapjes. Zeer attente gastvrouw, - heer en chefs. Wat wil je nog meer.

Heerlijk eten, leuke en betrokken mensen, gewoon top!

Können nur die Unterkünfte bewerten. Sehr netter und sehr guter Service. Sehr Strandnah, guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren etc. Wunderbar hier. Zusatz: das Essen muss super sein. Das Restaurant ist immer voll.

Wat een bijzondere plek is dit; Nordic cuisine met elegante, verrassende en prachtige gerechten. Zowel het omnivoor als herbivoor menu was origineel en heerlijk, met erg lekkere wijnen erbij. De keuken maakt volop gebruik van ingrediënten uit de natuur en dat levert geweldige combinaties van smaken op. Een van de allerlekkerste diners van het afgelopen jaar, we komen hier graag terug!

Casual Fine Dining in entspannter Atmosphäre. Das Menü war eine kulinarische Reise auf hohem Niveau. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss,begleitet von einem perfekten Service. Top!

Heerlijk gegeten in een zeer leuk restaurant. Leuk team van mensen welke echt plezier hebben in hun werk. Fantastische chefkok met zijn mensen welke er een heerlijke avond van kunnen maken met uiteenlopende gerechten.

Wir sind schon zum 3.Mal hier und lieben Hof aan Zee!!! Diese Mal haben wir die größte Wohneinheit gebucht und sind ganz glücklich damit... 2 Bäder (das obere besonders schön hell!), 3 Zimmer, großzügiger Wohn -, Ess- und Küchenbereich mit grosser Terrasse. Die Kids spielen im Hof oder im Wald. Das Meer liegt direkt hinter den Dünen, ein vielleicht 200 Meter langer Weg zum Strand. Wir kommen wieder!
