How can the oliebollen stall at Bakery store Arjaans in Oldenzaal improve? By listening to customers who complain, letting them finish their conversation, and by being polite. I couldn't get past "hello" or "good afternoon." I just wanted to say the oliebollen I got for New Year's Eve were great, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time with the apple fritters; something had gone wrong. I couldn't even explain what was wrong with all 15 of them, as the lady at the stall immediately defended herself by saying: "You should have come sooner, and my number is on the side. I don't listen to customers, and an apology would have been appropriate." Especially when the customer says they don't want anything in return, but only reports the problem and says they did come back earlier, but they were closed then, and then the same defense is still unanswered. They won't see me again, and I come here at least three times a month.

Be careful with allergies. Even though we indicated we wanted a dish without onions or garlic due to allergies, it was chock full of both. We confronted the server about this, who said all he could do was inform the kitchen, which he did. The response was rather nonchalant, but this is simply a health risk. I don't like leaving reviews (especially negative ones), but in this case, it's important to inform other visitors. We immediately left and won't be back. In response to the owner: The review is intended for Las Carretas in Oldenzaal, which is now temporarily closed. Our experience was last summer.

1x en nooit meer. Waren in de buurt op 19 juli 2025. En dachten daar gaan we een hapje eten. Ik schrijf dit op het toilet, want vanaf thuiskomst zit ik hier al op. Eten stond lang onder de warmtelamp. Strontvliegen vlogen rond de sushi en in de rest van het restaurant. Ijsschep ligt in bakje brak water wat niet gespoeld wordt.

I had ordered two sandwiches with brie, ok then we wanted to order another sandwich because someone else was coming to visit so my sister called for an extra sandwich the owner said it would take another 5 minutes but I arrived a bit early and actually started freaking out that I was too early so I waited a while that fell on good ground he was not friendly at all my sister had also had bad experiences with him I told him that he could shove sandwiches up his ass and he did Never call me again fine there are plenty of other places with even tastier sandwiches so better service what an arrogant asshole!!!!!

Grand Café Markt 19 is a lovely spot right in the heart of Oldenzaal, situated on the lively Oude Markt. The menu offers plenty of vegetarian options, which I personally appreciate. The dishes are delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the central location. The service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. In good weather, the terrace on the square is an absolute must – atmospheric, lively, and a great place to people-watch or simply relax. In short: an accessible and cozy spot for lunch, drinks, or dinner, with a good balance between quality, ambiance, and price. Highly recommended if you're in Oldenzaal!
