I ordered a large döner, but received a pathetic pita with a container of döner meat instead of the Turkish bread that usually comes with it. The large kapsalon is a normal size, but also not great, lacking in flavor and with the wrong cheese that didn't really match the kapsalon itself. I also ordered a Turkish pizza, but it was a quarter burnt on the outside. Delivery was fast, though. It was also left fairly quickly, but that's nice.

Normally, I wouldn't be so quick to post a negative review on Google and would keep the honor to myself, but what just happened here was truly unacceptable. Friendly service and a fine terrace. In the past, I have often ordered fries as a snack with drinks. Today, we only received the bottom of the bag of fries. I would describe it as shredded fries. It happens. Sent back to the kitchen. However, the owner insisted that these are the standard portions and that the fries always look like this. Something that is simply not true. The highlight was that we were simply given the plate of fries back on our table(?!) Like, ‘this is it and good luck with it’—ridiculous, especially for 6.50 euros. Just take it off the bill then. Sent back to the kitchen again, but the waiter threw it in the trash can outside.

One of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch (brunch) in Bussum. The service is always fast and kind with a “can-do” attitude. Wanna combine some things from the menu? No problem! The location is great at the very center of Bussum next to the main shopping street but still in a quiet open space. They have a quite varied menu and I love the food. I’m especially fond of everything with chicken. I used to think that chicken with waffles sounded a bit weird - no more…now it’s one of my go-to dishes.
