Today I had breakfast at Erva Café and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was super cozy, the food delicious, and the staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommended—I'll definitely be back!

Staff needs to learn to speak politely to customers first. The cook speaks respectfully, but the cashier is very approachable. She also needs to learn to speak respectfully to customers. And the money we left is yours to keep as a tip. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I almost never write reviews, but this experience at Erva in Amsterdam-Noord affected me so much that I wanted to share it anyway. What was supposed to be a pleasant morning out turned into a situation that left me angry, disappointed, and powerless. From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The female employee who helped us was never friendly or professional. Instead of hospitality, we were met with an attitude that felt almost hostile. She spoke in a manner completely inappropriate for someone working with guests, and at one point, she even raised her voice. This created an uncomfortable and disrespectful situation, in which we, as guests, felt completely ignored. What was saddest for me was that we ended up paying without eating at all. Not because we wanted to, but because the situation became so unpleasant that we had no choice but to leave. Instead of understanding or an apology, we received even more unfriendliness in return. It felt like every attempt at normal interaction was immediately shut down, as if we were the problem instead of customers who just wanted to be treated respectfully. It hurts you when you go somewhere to enjoy yourself and instead walk out feeling awful. I honestly hoped there would be some empathy or professionalism, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case at all. I've rarely been so disappointed with the way a restaurant treats its guests. The only positive thing for me was the chef, who tried to resolve the issue, but the female staff member kept interfering. As an owner, I would never let such staff work with guests again. If I could, I would give this restaurant 0 stars. One star is the minimum the system allows, but in my opinion, the experience wasn't even worth that. I hope they learn to treat guests with respect and decency in the future, so no one else has to go through such a terrible experience.

I had an extensive breakfast for six people, and left a lot of money behind. I walked out and still had to go to the bathroom to do a quick business, and Mrs. Mubeccel charged me €1. It's outrageous, especially since I just paid a fortune for breakfast for six people.

It's a nice place. We came from Germany and the breakfast, drinks and best of all, the hookah were perfect. We thank the friendly staff for everything.

Four of us came for dinner. We ordered the mixed kebab. The portions were so large we couldn't finish them. The kebab was served with rice, chips, salad, and more. It was also quite delicious. Turkish cuisine was beautifully presented. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The restrooms were clean and convenient. The prices are very reasonable; you can eat here any time of day—breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just chilling with friends over a drink and conversation.

I ordered Adana Kebab with rice half an hour ago but I received this. I called them but they said it was none of our business. I will never buy or order anything from them again.

The best place in the Netherlands for food and hookah, definitely a number one place. Personnel quality is all in one place. I especially thank Mr. Hasan. I recommend it to everyone.

The food was late and raw. The restaurant promised to send new food, but that never happened. When I called, I was treated rudely. The woman on the phone spoke rudely and disrespectfully, as if it were my fault. No replacement, no refund. Poor service.

Erva Cafe is an absolute must! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Special mention to Hatice, who is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Her warm and helpful attitude makes the experience at Erva Cafe even better. Erva Cafe is a very nice cafe/lunch and dinner restaurant! It suits every occasion. I regularly come here to eat, drink, meet up but also work. Thanks for your presence here in Noord, valuable! One big minus!: Selling Coca-Cola products... That should absolutely not be allowed! That is one of the biggest sponsors of the gncde in Gaza. It wouldn't be that hard to give this up, would it? I expect another brand as soon as possible; and there are enough of them in a luxurious country like the Netherlands.

Had soft drinks and filled baguettes. First of all, several sandwiches that could normally be served according to the menu, could not be served. It took an eternity before the drinks arrived, at least 45 minutes. After 30 minutes we were asked what we had ordered because the waiter had not communicated it correctly (duh, he did not use a notepad or something). After that it took another 15 minutes before it arrived. When the lady brought the drinks she apologized, it was said to be busy (there were only 3 others in the restaurant so maybe orders). As an apology we would get tea on the house when the sandwiches arrived. It took another 30 minutes before the sandwiches arrived, guess 3 times, no tea on the house. Ordered another coke because the first one was finished after waiting 30 minutes. It also took an eternity, after 15 minutes we got it ourselves at the counter. People around us who arrived much later got their food quickly and before us. I wonder what that is. 2 stars are for the sandwiches, they were tasty but could have had more sauce and the chicken could have been seasoned more.

Almost nothing that came to the table was fresh, but in the end we did call with an apology. Clearly indicated that nothing was fresh. Chicken was hardened and discolored, cheese had a putrid smell, bread was not fresh. And then another 35 euros for breakfast for 2 people

It's a small but nice place that generally serves take-out, but also has a few tables outside.

It cannot be described in words, it has to be seen.

We have sat here several times for consultations in the afternoon and evening and I found this to be a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, a variety of tea and coffee and a snack in between. Next time I will go for dinner because it looked very good on the other tables In short, very satisfied with the experience!

Erva Amsterdam offers a fantastic dining experience! From the starter onwards everything was delicious – the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken tasted delicious, and every bite left me wanting more. Dessert was also a real treat, a sweet ending on a high level. And then the Turkish coffee... it was great! With friendly service and a warm atmosphere, Erva Amsterdam is definitely recommended!

I often come here for breakfast again 31/12 and received super bad service. Breakfast for 2 people was very limited. Indicated at checkout and this was not responded to. The customers next to me also thought it was very poor. I'm not used to this from you. Too bad nothing is done with it even though I am a regular customer there. The person who helped us was not friendly either.

I have breakfast at Erva's once every few months. The breakfast (serpme kahvaltisi) is fine, but some portions have clearly been reduced since the last time. You have to pay extra for an extra bowl of sosis or kaymakli ball, which is a shame. The menemen was good. The service can certainly be better; it was okay, but not particularly attentive. In addition, the prices are on the high side for what you get.

I found them for a dinner at a late time arrival to my hotel nearby. Nice food. Nice service. Welcoming staff. Recommended.

I come here often but I have never seen such rude staff. Ordered delicious food but when I ask for salt and pepper it is forgotten. I call the lady to ask again for salt and pepper, she says laughing, "oh yes, I forgot." We were also going to split with my friends while paying. Does she want to come and teach everyone exactly what everyone has to pay? I ask if I can pay half in cash and she lets me pay for something completely different. She also comes to teach each of us what we should and should not pay. Tip for the lady: learn Dutch or at least understand English and then look for work.

Delicious dinner on a Saturday evening in December. We celebrated a baby shower and there were 25 people. We were given the entire ground floor and were allowed to bring our own decorations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The contact person was a polite man and all agreements were fulfilled. We passed on the main courses a few days earlier and when the party started we all got our food AT THE SAME TIME and it was HOT. Team Erva, you are great!! Thank you for letting us use the space and see you next time!

Very bad, too bad because it used to be a good restaurant with good food. There were five of us and no one was satisfied. The Adana Kebab was still pink on the inside and didn't taste like Adana, more like sucuk. The Pastas only had a cheese flavor and the Fried Vegetables for 18 euros was a small bowl with mainly mushrooms. The only thing that was somewhat okay was the fries, chicken nuggets and soup. Too bad the restaurant changed the entire menu and ruined the food.

1 of the worst restaurants in the Netherlands. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Hum... waar zal ik beginnen... Overdag komen er oudere personen, het ziet er knusjes uit. Als je op een stil terras zit dan moet je het personeel er op attenderen dat je er zit , anders val je ze niet op🤔 Heb er 1 keer gegeten in het begin van de avond, we zaten eerst buiten en het weer koelde af + weer hetzelfde..ze waren ons vergeten🥴 Eten was matig, en ze hebben daar nooit van knoflook saus / andere soorten sausen gehoord..hoe dan!?🤔 (Dit alles is niet vandaag maar een x aantal maanden geleden gebeurd, heb daarna alleen wel eens een frisje besteld) Dus toen,eenmaal aan tafel zagen we een stroom van jongere binnen komen. Geen probleem natuurlijk, echter ging kort daarna de muziek vrij hard aan en een gesprek was vrijwel niet mogelijk. Een paar minuten later hoorde ik een ander soort muziek en die kwam van het boven gedeelte. Nou lekker dan..ik besloot om het eten maar mee te nemen, en het personeel hoort het dan aan je mee te geven, maar nee hoor ik mocht dat zelf in een bakje van hun doen. Nee! nam daar geen genoegen mee heb ze nog geholpen met mijn bordje naar hun toe te brengen, maar dan mochten zij het ingepakt meegeven. ' Hoe heeft het gesmaakt mevrouw', vroeg de werkzame dame ? 'Het ging wel', zei ik.. Mevrouw vroeg niet door na haar standaard vraag en mijn antwoord ging het ene 👂in en het andere 👂uit 🤦🙇🙎 Daar neem ik dus gèen genoegen mee🤨 Heb wat ' tips' meegegeven zodat ze een breder publiek bereiken, gaf €4 fooi en vertrok. De inzet vaalt nog op meerdere niveaus maar je kan een jong bedrijf altijd proberen te ondersteunen
