I'm sorry, but waiting 2 hours for an order…. I have had to wait longer before, but I just find this unprofessional. I won't be ordering from here again, even though I do find the food very tasty. I give it 1 star.

I feel bad saying this, but I have to. I have eaten a delicious kapsalon here before, but the delivery time (having to wait a long time often) really forces me to post a negative review now. I ordered about 1.5 hours ago and just called to ask where the order is, and they still said it would take half an hour. I understand that the weather is bad and that it is raining heavily, but waiting 2 hours for a kapsalon that is 10 minutes away is just crazy. I hope you do something about this.

Worst service ever. Been on the phone 5 times by now; “delivery will be here in a few minutes”. The last time I got a bit pissed off, and they just hung up on you… so I would definitely recommend ordering somewhere else!

This place just scammed me. Not only did they go an hour past the delivery time, but they never showed up at all and marked it as delivered. Disgusting

Had a very bad experience. The food arrived burnt and only after 1.5 hours. I was told I would only receive the food the next day “again”. Haven't seen any of it since and have contacted them multiple times. Do not order here!!! 60 euros wasted.

Ordered at 3 am and got my food in 15 minutes. I saw many comments here and well, apparently they took notes or something, but they are cooking. Turkish pizza with fries and doner was good, fries crispy, the flatbread they used is really good. Check out this picture of my late night dinner.

The best experience I've ever had! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the quality is 100%, and they don't make you wait long. They have the best durum wraps and broils you'll find in this area.

Never again for me. If there's one thing I hate, it's hair in my food. I threw away my 20-euro order today because I found not one, but two hairs. Now I'll just order somewhere else.

Never ordering again. The food arrives cold 3 hours later, and then they are really rude too. Very weak.

The only good thing was the opening hours; the kebab was extremely marinated. Our surprise was that the bottled water we ordered tasted exactly like tap water. Hopefully, they'll get inspected, find out about this, and get a hefty fine.

Ordered food, delivered it two and a half hours later, everything cold. Threw everything away and called again the next day because the order was incomplete; we only received 2 sandwiches out of 4 for free. Plus, the order was delivered incorrectly again, after which we called again and they said they would send a new one. After 2 hours, still no word. Called again and then they said they are not going to deliver anything anymore.

Do not order here at night; a 60 euro order did not arrive, and we were treated rudely over the phone and eventually threatened. “A courier is arriving now with 1 pizza and you are getting a few punches along with it.” The pizza didn't even arrive, and we had ordered 4.

The soup was just watery, tasteless, and very watery! The wrap was inedible; my stomach hurt after one bite. Delivery was also way too late. A solid 0, not recommended!

Ordered twice, both times I waited an hour and a half for my food, if not longer. The pilaf (Turkish rice) was tasteless.

What you see in the ad is different from what you get. I think he initially wanted to throw away the salad and rice, but then decided it would be better to send them to me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It feels like you're sitting in your angry aunt's living room. There was a woman who had two plates of wings that looked better than my thinner sandwich. I think he brought them himself or just bought them for him because they weren't on the menu. It's a really nice place, and it's chill that it's open 24 hours. You're always welcome at Auntie's.

My favourite döner restaurant in Amsterdam. We have been more than 10 times and it never disappoints. The staff is nice and the food is wonderful. Their homemade garlic sauce is the star to anything you order. It has fair prices and whatever you decide to order, it is assured it will be good. Their baklava is also homemade and it is amazing too. It feels like your go-to familiar restaurant.

That was disappointing. I ordered a shawarma dish, but the fries were so hard they were refried, and the bread was put back in the oven for a while, so it tasted old. The salad was completely warm and tasteless. I asked for onion sauce, which still needed to be made... sorry, €18.50, you really expect more for that.

The chicken salad I ordered was perfect! The garlicky dressing really took it up a notch. Congratulations!

Because I've driven past this place so often, and there are always people there, and the reviews are good, I finally got around to going, and the food is indeed delicious. Their lamb shawarma is delicious, and the ayran is nice and cold. It was a hot day today, and I was sweating inside 🥵 I thought the service was 50/50. There are better alternatives in my opinion (it has more to do with the atmosphere and service), but the food at Merci is top-notch.

Good restaurant! The food is very tasty. I would especially recommend the pizzas and the pidè. Delivery is usually fast too. We also got tea when we were seated. Very polite.

Ordered 2 pizzas shawarma which arrived cold and the shawarma was completely burnt. The shawarma on it just looks like pieces of charcoal🤮. We can throw 27 euros in the trash, this is a crying shame. Definitely do not order here before you are also saddled with this kind of mess. I also took 2 photos of the pizzas, but I don't know how to add them

I can't reach the restaurant. The phone is not answered and then you almost fall asleep because you haven't received your food for 1.5 hours. I would go for another place

Terrible, ordered a kebab sandwich, got a lamb meatball sandwich. Besides the fact that I was already irritated about the wrong sandwich, it was not even edible. Super dry and disgusting. Really not recommended

I honestly didn't expect such good quality food at 3:30 in the morning. One of the best shawarma sandwiches I've ever eaten. If I could give 10 stars you would have gotten them. The service is exceptionally good!!! The shawarma is real lamb, the chicken comes from one charcoal grill and you can taste it. In short, what a great company!

Terrible. We wanted to order 4 pizza doner. The donner was gone, they only had shawarma. We are not the most difficult, so we do 4 pizza shawarma. When paying, it turned out that the shawarma was twice as expensive, which was not stated. We were hungry, so let's go. After we paid we were sent out of the tent and had to wait outside around freezing until our food was ready. Never experienced anything like this before.

Too bad I forgot to take a photo, but this was the best Kapsalon I ever had in Amsterdam. Super tasty marinated chicken, coocked on charcoal, awesome frenchfries with melted cheese nicely distributed all over the dish (and not those cheap & lame square burger cheddar piece...), fresh veggies on top... Service is also super friendly and they want to make sure you enjoyed the food. It is a bit more expensive than your regular Kapsalon, but 200% worth it! One of the best grilled turskish restaurant in West for sure!

Tried mixed grill with shoarma - enough for me and my wife. The meat tastes great, well charcoal-smoked and seasoned, served with nicely aromatic rice. Food is perfect for sure. Ventilation is one thing I find the need to improve more. Recommend to try when you visit Amsterdam ☺️😋😋

Quality and service suddenly deteriorated. Friendly delivery person seems to have been replaced. The sauce or salad is forgotten with every order. "Free delivery when you call" suddenly seems to no longer exist. Very sad..

The place looks nice and the staff is nice, but it is downright ridiculous to sell Turkish pizza from a pack for 3.50 euros to your customers and I'm sure because you can look straight into the kitchen. I saw the pack of Turkish pizzas. They are exactly the same Turkish pizzas that are also sold at the Turkish supermarket! I had been looking for a place that looked good for a while and I was very hungry otherwise I would have passed them up! I now wonder if the Italian pizza on the menu also comes from Dr. Oetker! Once again not okay. I would say do something about it or take the Turkish pizza off the menu, because this is just deliberately deceiving your customers and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The location alone is worth the stay however the staff is the real gem. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. They brought me a specific pillow I requested and delivered water. The hotel is stylish and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional and an absolute must. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I return.

Since Restaurant Merci was taken over, things have gone downhill for me personally, this applies to both the service and the quality of the food. First of all, I am very bothered by the fact that the staff does not speak Dutch enough to take your order, among other things. it happens far too often that something completely different is served on your table than you ordered, it also often happens that they charge you more than you should actually pay (remarkably enough you never "accidentally" pay less than you would have to pay). If you order something for €7.50 and you then receive a €20 dish on your table, I think it would be fair that you would be compensated in the price, but this is not done. All this has happened to me a number of times but I have always condoned it as I like to give people a second chance. Unfortunately this was the last straw for me and I will never come here again!
