The food and service are excellent, as always! We've eaten here many times before. Always delicious. It was just incredibly noisy this time! There was a large group of about 25 people, and the six of us were practically sitting right in the middle. It was Boxing Day, so you might expect it to be quite busy, but this was incredibly noisy for us. We couldn't hear each other.

It's not a truly Turkish restaurant; they mainly offer things for tourists like pizza and pasta. The prices are outrageously expensive. Unfortunately, there's no hospitality either, which is a shame.

The two of us had a wonderful meal. It was a Sunday evening, so it was quiet but so nice. The host was lovely and more than happy to help, and the food was delicious. We both had the mixed grill, which is highly recommended! It comes with all kinds of meat and vegetables. Dessert was also delicious, and the atmosphere is super cozy. Great place!

The food was delicious. We had both Turkish and Italian dishes. The terrace is large and overlooking the Amstel, making it a great place to people-watch and watch cyclists. The service was friendly.

We came across this place by the accident and fortunately because it was our best meal in Amsterdam. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious! Chef de cuisine cares about every customer. He makes wonderful meals with the attention to allergies and nutritional needs. Portions are large. We were also drinking nice Mohito but food was really the best. Highly recommended!

The four of us had a wonderful meal. We started with the Sigara Boregi and the Karides Guvec (in a delicious cognac cream sauce). Main courses: Panzarotti alla Norciana, Pasta al Pollo, Pasta Gaberetti (we ordered gluten-free pasta), and Guvec Lamb (a delicious stew). The portions are generous. The service is friendly. We had a view of the Amstel River. Highly recommended!

Service and location were good, food not so much. Saksuka was OK, but Cerkez Tavugu was quite bad, tasted bland and somewhat rancid. Not sure why this is so highly rated.

Nice location, but that's about it. The mezes were lukewarm and didn't seem fresh, and the staff was disinterested. For a rakı table you expect atmosphere, quality and hospitality. Unfortunately, everything was missing here..

Extremely disappointed. The service was painfully slow — waited 20 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. No apologies, no updates, just ignored. The food itself was decent, but definitely not worth 30 euros per main course. The prices are completely unjustified. On top of that, the staff were not friendly or welcoming at all. No sense of hospitality — just cold and indifferent. With that kind of service, attitude, and pricing, there’s absolutely no reason to return. Would not recommend

The owner of the restaurant personally seated us and was our server. We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the Saffron special for 2 people...super bomb and recommend it 100%!!

Coincidentally ended up at this address during a walk along the Amstel. We enjoyed an excellent lunch. Dishes taste delicious and there is also excellent (Turkish) wine on the menu. Prices are reasonable, especially for our capital. Service friendly and fast. We will definitely visit here in the evening for a nice dinner, the menu looked promising.

Absolutely delicious meal. My husband had the mixed grill and I had the pasta with baked eggplant and other vegs. Charming, modest and kind server. Lovely spot for sitting outside people watching. Worth every penny of our $55 bill which also included yummy wine and beer. I should have taken a pic of the meals but we were too excited about digging right in. We’ll definitely be back!

Good food but service is a disaster. Took over an hour to get meals served, after asking two times. Then they served the wrong meals. No apologies. No discount. They need to learn about customer service and decency of apologizing for mistakes…

Wonderful Turkish spot with nice views. The food was excellent and very fresh. The older gentleman who served us was incredibly attentive and friendly. Definitely reccomend for a nice lovely meal. Prices very reasonable!!!

The food was reasonable, the price was on the high side. I was served by a very friendly Turkish lady who suddenly in the presence of all customers was being scolded and humiliated by her boss for something, so much so that she started to cry. That made me and the other customers very uncomfortable, me and my girlfriend have eaten the food as quickly as possible and then left without taking an aperitif, I therefore don't recommend this restaurant

Llegamos al restaurante encontrando muy pocos clientes. Un buen camarero vino a la mesa y preguntó qué queríamos. Pedimos una botella llena de vino y una ensalada de rúcula. Luego dijimos que pediríamos el resto después de comer la ensalada. La ensalada era genial! Entonces ordenamos nuestra entrada. Pudimos ver al único chef de nuestra mesa. Estaba constantemente en su teléfono. Alternaba entre hablar por teléfono y sus cuatro viajes afuera para fumar. Me gusta asumir que la gente conoce su trabajo, así que tratamos de ser pacientes y esperar a que él empiece a cocinar. Entraron seis tipos y consiguieron una mesa. Entraron dos chicas y consiguieron una mesa. Finalmente comenzó a preparar la comida. (¡Por supuesto que no la nuestra!) ¿Debería el camarero haberse dado cuenta de que habíamos estado allí durante más de una hora DESPUÉS de haber terminado nuestra ensalada, y todavía no hay entrada? ¡Estoy pensando que SÍ! En ese momento decidimos irnos y buscar otro restaurante. Pedí la cuenta, después de explicarle al camarero por qué nos íbamos. Chef se había olvidado por completo de nosotros (demasiado ocupado hablando y fumando tal vez? ). En ese momento se disculpó y dijo que solo serían tres minutos. Si hubiera dicho que la entrada estaba en ellos, podríamos habernos quedado. Muy mal servicio al cliente en mi opinión. Eso es una pena porque la comida es muy buena (comimos allí la primera noche que llegamos a Amsterdam, así que lo estoy basando en nuestra visita inicial).

Delicious food and fast service despite the crowds. Cozy and sunny terrace with beautiful flowers on the tables. Also went for lunch and that was also very tasty!

Very tasty and friendly staff but we had to wait more than an hour unfortunately. Doesn't seem to be a common occurrence though.

We live nearby and enjoy eating the delicious kufte with shrimps, mushrooms and creamy sauce (starter), in combination with the (main) course with spicy meatballs. Start with the Turkish salad. Enjoy! With a nice rosé. And since the new street layout, this is one of the nicest dining terraces on the Amstel; quiet, no cars!

Heel slechte behandeling van het personeel. schandalig slecht. we waren daar op een zondag voor een lekker vroeg avond eten . het was er druk . er waren 2 mensen in de bediening. een man met grijs haar en een vriendinlijke vrouw die haar best deed . ik zag even later woorden wisseling en agresief benadering van die man die bleek de medeeigenaar te zijn naar de vrouw toe . waarop ze vertrok. zeer vrouw onvriendelijk. daarom komen we er niet meer . een afrader .

The food was delightful! Very tasty. The staff were extremely nice and helpful with our choice of dishes. It will be on my itinerary when I next visit Amsterdam. I loved it.

A menu with Turkish and Italian dishes. I recommend not to order too much, you will get large portions. We had something small, humus with bread and sasuka, for starters and both had a dish with minced lamb as main meal. Very tasty! I was not familiar with Turkish wines, but we had a light fruity white wine with dinner that drank nicely.

Granted I’ve never been to Italy, but I have had a LOT of pasta in my life. Their Pasta al ragu e peppèroni was easily the best pasta dish I have ever had in my life, if you enjoy spicy, you will not be disappointed!

The house tap beer here was outstanding...granted I had cycled for 30 minutes and it was 28 degrees. Still it hit ! My pepperoni pizza was on point and I ate the whole thing. Everyone at the table finishes their meals. The service was fast and good. Downsides were the payment machine was off and I had to wander the streets looking for a cash point. There was also roadworks in front of the place. The view could have been a bit better. That being said, I would go back.

We were visiting Amsterdam and decided to try this restaurant. The friendliness of the owner, the food, the service in general... Everything was magnificent. I sincerely recommend this place 100% if you visit Amsterdam.

Upon getting in, I recalled that this wasn't my first visit to the place; I had accidentally visited it twice within a year. This time, I tried the Adana kabab, which was decent, although not the best I've had. The portion size was generous and it was served with rice, fresh vegetables, and bread. It would have been even better if they had included Sumac. For dessert (I got for free using a discount app), I ordered tartufo, which seemed to have come straight from the freezer and didn't quite match the tartufo I'm familiar with. Price wise, I found it a bit overpriced. I found the concept of mixing Turkish and Italian cuisine in one place puzzling, especially considering that I can't recall what I had last year, but I believe it was also Turkish. Thus, I can't evaluate their Italian dishes. Overall, the service was pleasant and the food was satisfactory.

Spontaneous dinner out in the neighbourhood. Got to sit at the best table in the house- right next to the grill! It’s always lovely to watch the meat sizzling over the coals. Had lamb chops and a mixed grill. Simple hummus for starters, and nice Turkish red wine. Meat was lovely and the accompanying veges also delicious. Excellent service from server Abbas.

We ate super well, super well-made dishes, very tasty. We also had delicious hummus and brusquetas. The waiters very attentive. It only took them a while to bring the dish but it made up for the fact that the dishes were so delicious.

The food was disappointed unfortunately. The pasta I ate didn’t taste much, so had to ask for salt and pepper. It was also difficult getting the attention of the staff, which also made it harder to enjoy the visit. It’s good located though!
