Favorite neighborhood coffee shop, but it's been closed a lot lately. It's barely open anymore, and there's no communication about it (not even on Instagram). It's a real shame and sloppy. The opening hours online and on the door are therefore incorrect!

Edit July ‘25: multiple times the venue was closed during opening hours and no note on the door or whatsoever… too bad because coffee is good. Not very reliable like this

A hidden gem. Good coffee, nice cozy vibe, away from the busyness of the city. Might be hot inside on warmer days. But there’s also a park and some seats to enjoy your coffee outside.

Very good coffee but that's all. Unreliable opening hours. Open and close whenever they want. Have found myself standing in front of a closed door several times. This is not how you deal with customers who travel a long distance for their moment of the day. I'll skip this one for now.

The most cutest place I’ve seen in Amsterdam

I love the rich bitterness of the coffee and the smooth creaminess of the milk in the cappuccino here. This place is also incredibly comfortable, and I always spend a relaxing time here to clear my mind.

Location wise this is probably the coolest coffee spot in Amsterdam. It is in the middle of a Residential neighborhood which used to be an industrial area, and this is one of the old buildings still standing, making for a very unique layout (as you can see in the pictures). The coffee and pastries they sell are all very nice. The barista was also very nice and explained to me a bit about this place! Definitely check it out if you want to try coffee in a unique place!

Best coffee on the island and some nice friendly and good baristas, but very unreliable opening hours, almost never open these days. Would appreciate it if the opening hours were kept up to date here or elsewhere, there is no point in always standing in front of a closed door.

Special location. The Americano and Flat White both tasted delicious. Specially roasted coffee beans are offered; Let's see if the coffee tastes just as good at home ☺️

Very small kiosk that offers good coffee and pastries. A few tables and chairs are arranged around, it’s calm and pretty.

Small but pleasant place to have a coffee and work in between appointments. Take out also possible. As every where in Amsterdam prices are high, but at least you get a decent & well prepared coffee.

A nice place to sit and grab a coffee and a pastry. The coffee tasted great and there are plenty of options to sit inside and outside. Highly recommend

I'm so happy that there is an Espressofabriek on Zeeburgereiland. It's always worth a visit. Great coffee, delicious bakes (chocolate-salt-cookies, pink cakes, lemon-almond cake are my favorites) and the most peculiar location. With good weather, you can sit outside, with bad weather, you need to climb up the narrow stairs to the top floor where you can find 2 1/2 tables. Oh, and don't forget that if you need a wine, there is an alternative to Albert Heijn: Espressofabriek sells natural wines: White, orange, red, and bubbles.

For the location only you should go here but would love to see some more artisinal products instead of the "I can get those cakes everywhere".

Really great espresso and cappuccino. For the milk they have several options, they have normal cows milk, soy, almond, oat and more. It is a bit expensive though.

Nette kleine Espressobar an ungewöhnlichem Ort (eine ehemalige Pumpstation). Die nette, freundliche Bedienung mit schottischer Herkunft spricht auch holländisch und versteht es, erstklassigen Espressso zu zaubern. Achtung, meine deutschen Landsleute, die ihr am liebsten noch mit bunten Glasmurmeln bezahlen würdet: hier ist nur Kartenzahlung möglich.

Original place with nice specialty coffee and fantastic hot chocolate. Barista are always kind and friendly. You can also buy handmade fresh pastry and good wine bottles.

Heel aardige meneer. Hij heeft echt baristavaardigheden. Koffie had zelf meer karakter mogen hebben. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.

Cozy place with good coffee. But neither the Barista, nor the 4 clients going in before me , bothered to wear a mask. That's a pity.

Unieke plek met heerlijke koffie. Vriendelijk geholpen, zeker een aanrader! :)
