Eten & Drinken BIJRipperda in Wijk 07 Den Nul

This is a small family bag.. I'm used to more. Otherwise it's nice. Everything was solved super by phone! Portions are usually bigger.

After we were too late to enjoy the unsurpassed Rietburger at Op Duur in Den Nul, we drove a few hundred meters to BIJ Ripperda (same operator) to try it there. There we decided to go for the "Chef's choice", a 4-course tasting of the chef de cuisine's choice. The welcome is most cordial and a bottle of water is a compliment (an example for many other restaurants). We were ready for the surprise with Salland hospitality. It was an afternoon with mixed feelings. The dishes served were very tasty, but the term "small dishes" (note the double reduction) was very literal. Three courses with dishes that would not be out of place in a Parisian nouveau cuisine restaurant. A starter with 3 small snacks on an almost empty plate. This was followed by the soup which was served with a small spoon, which better suited the proportion. The taste was great by the way. This was followed by a hamburger of excellent quality but without significant presence of vegetables or potatoes. The hamburger was again the highlight. This time in slightly more than postage stamp size. The cheese board (dessert) was excellent. The "Chef's choice" can best be compared to a rollercoaster where you brace yourself for the last loop, but when you finish you have to realize that there was no loop at all and it is over without any excitement. We thought the price for this tasting was quite high (67 Euro for 2 people). The ambiance is excellent, the hospitality is excellent, the food is very tasty, but since the dishes are so small, it does justice to the place name but not to Salland's generosity.

Zaterdag hier heerlijk gegeten! Echt lekker, en met zorg opgediend! Iedere gang was een feestje! Echt een aanrader om hier te gaan eten! Daarbij erg netjes, vlot en attent personeel, een jong team met de juiste houding en inzet! Kortom een erg lekker en leuk avondje uit, waarbij het hele plaatje klopt...

BijRipperda heet tegenwoordig Proeftuin van Salland. Naast een paar burgermenu's bestaat de kaart uit verschillende kleinere gerechten, bij een kleine trek heb je aan 3 genoeg, 4 of 5 gangen is ook mogelijk. Wij hadden 5 gangen. De gerechten zijn erg leuk, verwacht hier geen standaard items, al staat er carpaccio op de kaart. Er zijn meerdere vegetarische opties. Het eten smaakte ons heerlijk. De bediening was goed, er zat een hoog tempo in, maar dat werd aangepast op ons verzoek. Normale prijs is 35 EUR voor 5 gangen, daar komt dan nog drinken en eventuele bijgerechten bij. Deze prijs is erg redelijk, het eten is eigenlijk te goed voor de prijs. Voor kinderen is er een speeltuin, en er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid.

Wonderful place to eat. Very friendly staff. Beautiful, quiet terrace with both sunny places and plenty of shade. Great if you have small children who can play safely while you sit on the terrace and enjoy and keep an eye on your children. Also very well organized for groups to have lunch there. It also looks fantastic inside. All in all, a very nice atmosphere both outside and inside.

Burger was decent. Sitting outside was nice, but when you come to eat you are attacked by flies. So sit inside if you go.

Weekendje weg in eigen land en op zoek naar een leuk restaurant. Via social deal kwamen we terecht bij de Sallandse Proeftuin. Een 4 gangen menu met zelf te kiezen gerechten waarin de produkten uit de streek worden verwerkt. De jonge bediening is zeer vriendelijk en bekwaam. Een aanwinst voor deze regio!

Atmosphere good, relaxed. Nice people, the owner exaggerates something that he would like to learn from experiences. The aim is small dishes with 'a story' from the region. That doesn't quite work. Fries, for example, really come from the freezer and (therefore) not tasty. Creme brulee dessert is beautiful, it's a pity that the blueberry ice cream (no blackberries) served with it comes from the supermarket. Roseval potatoes: undercooked. Limousine (?) Entrecote really too much sinew. Pike perch tasty, tender on the inside, skin could have been crispier. Despite these criticisms, if in the area, I would go back again. If only to see how this seemingly sympathetic idea develops. I wish the team much success.

De Proeftuin van Salland, is gevestigd in een gedateerd partycentrum. Er is veel aan gedaan om het wat eigentijdser te maken; leuke kleuren, veel hout en planten maken het enigzins trendy. Er is nog wel veel te doen (lelijk systeemplafond en toiletten ook aan make-over toe) Dit alles wordt gecompenseerddoor supervriendelijke bediening en lekker eten. Eigenaar verteld met passie over zn streekprodukten. Gerechtjes zijn klein maar smaakvol. (Snoekbaar aanrader!) Prijzen voor drankjes zijn niet hoog. Verder is er een leuke tuin! Overkapping en speeltoestellen aanwezig en vast een heerlijke plek voor kinderen. Soms buiten live muziek en ook soms bbq workshops (vertelde medewerkster) Leuke ervaring.

Nice new menu, all kinds of small snacks, nice weather, sat on the terrace, good service. All in all definitely worth it. We will definitely come back again.

A great place for a snack or drink. Versatile with a terrace, playground for the children, snack bar and restaurant. Near a nature and walking area that is very worthwhile!

Atmospheric relaxed nature oriented lunch spot

BIJRipperda is met z'n tijd meegegaan en dat proef je. Het is niet meer het dorpsrestaurant met traditionele kaart maar serveert eigentijdse streekgerechten. En die smaken echt goed.

Friendly people . I was advised to eat a burger. The chef also asked me if I enjoyed it. Well it was more than tasty, actually I couldn't hide my opinion. So in response (he looks a bit surprised) he served a fantastic burger.

We liked it less than last time. We found the hamburger small.

Ate last year it was very good. That's why I recently returned. Unfortunately it was disappointing the second time. Breadboard was tasty. Hamburger was tasty but very small and no extras except lots of fries. It was therefore relatively expensive. My girlfriend had carpaccio as a main course. According to her it was watery with little/no taste. There was nothing extra on it, such as tomato, pine nuts or the like. Saw the same carpaccio at Boni's 2 days later. So more than €10 was very expensive for that. I assume that this was a one-time disappointment because I certainly had a nice meal there.

Today I attended the American style barbecue workshop of the Weber Grill Academy at Eten & Drinken BIJRipperda. Since an extension was built specifically for this purpose, the workshop was able to proceed as usual, despite the strong wind. Well organised, lots of Weber barbecues, good food and nice space.

There were only 3 tables. There wasn't one reserved yet that we were allowed to sit at. It's out of season, so the other rooms are probably no longer in use. The menu is very clear but what we ate was very good. And everyone was very friendly. It is suitable for wheelchair users. 😊

A good and delicious meal on the back terrace in the setting sun. It completed the pensioners with supporters "day" after the tour at the IJssellinie Olst. Super good and friendly service. Highly recommended

A well-cared for barbecue at this location and excellent service makes the barbecue evening in a beautiful, quiet location a very successful one.

Snack bar really bad. Peanut sauce of unknown origin. Canned meatball. No cutlery, so eat with your tentacles.

Very cozy restaurant with sheltered terrace, overlooking the floodplains of the IJssel. O.a. the best hamburger in Overijssel.

I think that there are usually quite a few fries in the family bags (I'm talking about the 2-person bags), I live in Raalte myself, but I have the feeling that at food and go (the one at the train station) you get more. fries for it, but that is my idea and in Raalte you get tasty fries with herbs, I think
