Very tender meat and fresh vegetables.

Delicious food. They have a beautiful, authentic pizza oven, which is fantastic. Friendly service. Lots of choices. Definitely recommended. We'll be back soon.

The food was delicious, the spare ribs were good. The only downside is that if you order Arabic rice porridge and get a bowl of dry yellow rice instead of delicious Arabic rice pudding with, for example, pomegranate, pistachios, and Arabic flavors, and you pay 4 euros for it, and you call and are told, "Look, just Google it, it's just Arabic rice porridge," then you're not getting much out of it.

Ordered last week. Hair in the pizza. They said they would arrange a refund through "thuisbezorgd" within 3 days. I haven't received anything yet. And haven't heard anything since. So this was the last time I ordered from here.

Ordered food through Thuisbezorgt. Give me back the old owner... Totally not worth the money. The pizza was tasteless and the dough was half raw. And oh yeah... there was a clump of dust/hair in the box🤢. The spareribs are so tough you can't get the meat off the bone. You have to chew for ages before you can swallow it! And for that price... a real shame. First and last time.

Food was good. We had some starters and pizzas. Owner reported that all his products are prepared by himself, except for a few. This owner also reported that he took over the business three weeks ago. Food was good and enough. At the end we even got a goodie bag with a small dish to try at home.

Had dinner here with family last Saturday evening. Super friendly welcome in a cozy restaurant. Delicious food with something for everyone. The dishes are nicely seasoned, both Iraqi and Italian. Highly recommended!

Carpaccio was okay, but there was a thick oil pond on it and it was very wet. Pasta salmon was fine, only pieces of salmon broke through a little too hard.

An Iraqi-Italian restaurant with an Iraqi atmosphere. They have outdoor tables. We ordered Italian pizza, grilled meats, chicken pasta with their delicious sauce, and appetizers: hummus, mutabal, and salad. We tried dessert with Tartufo Nero balaclava and Iraqi tea.

We ontdekten ‘Rijst en Zo’ toevallig, omdat we tussen Olst en Deventer logeerden. We wilden deze keer Deventer niet in, en gingen naar Olst. Wat zijn we blij, dat we dit hebben gedaan! Het eten was heerlijk. We namen het gerecht met gegrilde vissoorten, de baba ganoush en een vegetarisch groente-rijst gerecht. Fijne bijzondere smaken, mooi gepresenteerd, echt genieten. De eigenaar en de bediening was erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. We komen niet uit de buurt, anders zouden we veel vaker bij ‘Rijst en Zo’ gaan eten.

Delicious rice with beef stew. Start with a tomato soup and a delicious baklava for dessert. Plus a bowl of fries and greetings.

The portions are getting smaller and smaller. This is starting to bother us. Probably last time here. The food is tasty and definitely asks for more.

Very nice people who make very tasty food. Unfortunately we didn't sit inside, but the atmosphere and decoration inside is really beautiful!

Had to wait a very long time. Taking orders, drinks, food and 2nd round of drinks. Not reported in advance that the fryer was broken. Paid €23.50 for 5 pieces of meat that still contained a whole tendon. In terms of service, there was no laughing matter. The excuse for the long wait was the crowd (8 tables).

Very strange evening, the waitress clearly did not understand what we asked or ordered, we ordered the 3 course dinner and just got the tournedos (which was tasty in itself) and when we asked afterwards what the other 2 courses were, it said girl that this was it ?? When we asked if we could take the pizza (daughters ate pizza) she said "no problem" but she just has to leave it on the table, so we took a box ourselves. The food itself was tasty, but the service was strange. The interior was not really impressive either, we thought we were going to have an Iraqi dinner, but it turned out to be an ordinary evening with steak in pepper sauce.

Well furnished, simple but attractive (Persian style). Great food, no rush, we were there for 3 hours. Nice and warm, no alcohol, but plenty of choice in alternatives (appreciate that principle, the Dutch can learn from it). Very warm but not pushy welcome. Reasonable prices, and deliciously soft olives from the house. In other words, nothing wrong with that, and if you read the owner's life story, you will wish this 'tent' all the success in the world. Good concept! Maybe a different name in the future, because it has much more class than the name suggests!

The enthusiastic stories of a dear friend made me very curious about Rice and such. I understood to expect a mix of Italian and Iraqi dishes. That sounded good! And it was good, wow! The attentive nature of the owner, his eye for detail and the warmth he radiates is absolutely reflected in the quality, presentation and taste of the food. The lentil soup was light and tasty and pleasantly spiced, and a good appetizer in terms of portion. The lamb chops that I ordered as a main course were fantastic, beautifully flavored and tender on a bed of pleasantly prepared vegetables, complimented by fragrant rice and a fine salad. The well-made baklava and Arabic coffee for dessert made it perfect for me. The restaurant has an affordable menu with something for everyone; also for children and selective eaters. Allergies and intolerances can be taken into account. Rice and stuff has a very nice ambiance. What a wonderful discovery in Olst! I understand that it will soon be even more atmospheric due to a number of changes inside. Have you always wanted to organize a children's party with making your own pizzas, or take a cooking workshop in Italian and/or Oriental cooking? That's also possible at Rijst en zo! And Rijst en zo also provides catering for groups.

Super tasty pizzas but never on time. Ordered at 5:30 PM. Max 55 minutes delivery time. Called at 6:50 pm. It will take another half hour...sorry, but then I have to leave .. just be honest about that... then I will order another time. Not now....

I ordered a pizza and asked for it without ham. Delivered with ham!:( I ordered a vegetarian ravioli and I got a very small container, and it wasn't even half full! AND THAT FOR 13 EURO!

Just ordered a pizza via home delivery. In one word: EPIC! We regularly order the Rice and Zo pizza and let's be honest: it's always tasty and good. But this time it was really great. All edges crispy. Rich in toppings. Well done team Rice and Zo. See you soon!

Both very satisfied with the delicious food you reserve, not too salty or too bland but perfect in taste. And the delivery time was also fast within 30 minutes we had our food from ordering to delivery. A friendly employee delivered it for us in warming containers. We are very satisfied with the quality and taste of your products.

Moved to the nil near olst. Now ordered for the 2nd time. Great if you want home delivery but don't want to eat pizza, fries, kebab or burger. Ordered rice of the month, lentil soup and spaghetti. Tasty. Our son enjoyed delicious spaghetti. Nice and fresh and seasoned with lots of garlic. Don't be stingy with meat. We will definitely order again and visit the restaurant.

Rijst en zo is a spacious restaurant with delicious Iraqi meals in addition to the more common menu. Friendly, courteous staff for whom nothing is too much. If requested, detailed explanations about the meals are provided. There is ample parking in the immediate vicinity, and a terrace for better weather, definitely worth having a meal there. The name Rice and all that should actually be; 'Much more than Rice'.

Our regular restaurant in our hometown of Olst! You can taste the flavor of all dishes with every bite and you also feel that it has been prepared with love. Everything is always neatly arranged/packaged/warm and delivered home on time! No effort/adjustment is too much and we think along with the customer! The delivery people are always friendly, talkative and respectful! The chef cooks deliciously, the sauces are tasty, the pizza is richly topped and the meat is fresh and very tasty...
