Well, the 3 bami discs were way overcooked, they looked like mush. The 'patat oorlog' with onion was also fried for too long, and the satay sauce was like clay, and the onions were missing. The special dish was good, and that for more than 20 euros. So, conclusion: worthless food.

The grilled burger was fine. Two staff members were standing outside smoking, so the undercooked fries didn't taste great at all.

Went to the Febo Drive-Thru tonight and what a difference compared to the Febo in the city! At least here they are customer-friendly and tidy, and I can just pay in cash! We will definitely be coming here more often! New owner, a very friendly man. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Really great!

Deleted my review from September and added this one now. Haven't been to Febo for 6 years, but I am again now. Regular fries with mayo are now 5 euros. Snacks are 3 euros. The flavors are fine, but the price for a regular portion is way too high. If regular fries with mayo were 3.75, it would attract more customers. Likewise, 2.50 for the snacks should be the maximum. We found it very quiet. In that regard, you can only hope for the new owner that it gets busier. Otherwise, the same thing could happen to him as happened to the previous owner. I wish him all the best. Saw on Trustpilot that 78 percent give Febo 1 star in general.

I knew Febo was known for their snacks 'from the wall', but I didn't know the 'special of the day' was a cloud of forest fruit vape. While I waited for my order, I saw the kitchen employee nonchalantly standing there puffing away over the deep fryer. Super hip, of course, that 'molecular dining' experience where your croquette is smoked in a cloud of e-cigarette vapor, but I'll pass next time. My hunger vanished in an instant. No more Febo in Zwolle for me for the time being!

It would have been better if this place hadn't reopened. Serves saltless, undercooked fries and immediately goes on the defensive when faced with advice, pointing to FEBO. I'm skipping this for now!!

I've been here twice since the reopening, and both times the food was very good! Freshly made grilled burgers, well-cooked fries, generous portions, and delicious milkshakes! The croquette burgers were also deliciously crispy and fresh, much better than the nearby McDonald's. Clean tables and tidy spots to eat. Friendly and helpful staff; they even brought the food to the table. Apparently, several people have discovered this since the reopening; it is much busier there now than before.

While waiting for our food, we saw a man, presumably the owner of this restaurant, sitting at a table in the restaurant. He was wearing a headset, and what immediately caught our attention was that he was smoking a vape (e-cigarette) in the restaurant. We found this very strange, especially since he was clearly trying to hide it. He understands it's not allowed, but he did it anyway. Our sandwiches also tasted strange, as if they had been sprayed with perfume or something—a very chemical flavor. Perhaps it was also from the vape? All in all, a bad experience; I won't be returning. And judging by another recent review, we're not the only ones.

Just got fries and a frikadel and ate them in the store. They tasted great. I also expected things to have gotten better since the new franchisee. Unfortunately, they haven't. An employee was sitting inside at a table smoking an e-cigarette. He responded nonchalantly to a polite remark I made. "It's not allowed, but I do it anyway." Both the smoking in the store and his reaction seem completely out of proportion. @FEBO: do something about this! I'm never coming back.

New owner who gets it, friendly, affordable, and goes the extra mile. And yes, the croquettes and grilled burgers are just as they should be! See you soon.

Super tasty food, nothing wrong with it

I went there again for the first time. The satay croquette and burger were freshly made. The taste was great, and the service was friendly. It's just a shame it was so quiet, which made the experience a bit lacking.

Delicious Better than McDonald's or Burger King

After the reopening earlier this week, I picked up some takeout for work at lunchtime. For medium-sized fries, the containers are really small and very sparsely filled. The satay croquette turned out to be a veal croquette or something similar. The top bun was missing from the chicken burger!!! Next time I'll go back to my "regular" snack bar; better quality and a lot cheaper.

Febo Drive Zwolle's doors remain closed. I just read that Closed in the Gelderlander, so who knows, maybe a new owner or head office will take over.

Prices are still the same, but fortunately the products and quality are the same. Exactly what you've come to expect from Febo. Went this afternoon around lunch time, the dear gentleman had overcooked a satay croquette, which he also gave to us with a smile and a joke, without any extra costs. Very attentive from both gentlemen! Unfortunately, this was a nuisance for a girl that was not corrected in any way by grandpa and grandma. Enough space to sit, and then they come right next to us... eventually we continued eating somewhere else. Last two times the experience was ruined by one of your (ex) employees, who came across similar complaints in the reviews and also a photo of him. Luckily we didn't see him, otherwise we would have turned around again. Today's two gentlemen were great, and an asset to this branch!

Three fries special with three croquettes for almost 30 euros. That's incredibly expensive. And then they also ask if you want something to drink with it. No wonder it's always quiet in this place. Too expensive.

So with good courage I ordered a bacon hamburger with a bami bite. And fries. After listening to the screaming of order numbers for a while, because there was no screen where this could be seen. So they had to shout it throughout the place. Very annoying. And yes, our number also came along. I quickly picked up my Hamburg and bami snack, because the people waiting looked like if you don't come soon, we will take it with us. Well, I quickly found a spot in an otherwise clean and tidy business. We look with anticipation at what is on our tray. A bami bite... Well your snack. It was so small that when you sneezed it flew off the table. But the taste was really good. But then came the big disappointment. The burgers shown in the images are nice and thick. Turned out to be a very thin substance that was most likely once a nice piece of meat. But so thin. That I could use it as a sunshade for the windows and still see everything. Extremely dry and little taste. The sandwich was nice and soft and there was enough green food in it. With a piece of egg it would have become a healthy sandwich. Fries good. And yes, when you eat and drink you also want to go to the toilet. Unfortunately that was not possible. All toilet were defective. How is it possible!!! Well, no more Febo for me. I'd rather pay a little more and get a big hamburger at the local snack bar.

I've been wondering why it was never busy at Febo. Got two snacks (6.80), a bit on the expensive side. Now I got a frikadel with so little sauce that you could barely taste it and a special. The special was very tasty until it hit a hair. After that I didn't need it anymore. All in all, for 6.80 you get more value for your money elsewhere.

The chicken wings bucket would be recommended, but I found them quite spicy and it also took quite a while before they reached a temperature that you could even hold them (so hot and hot). Food was cold again, they didn't have what we wanted to order. And they talk about the people who sit here in the restaurant. After my experience I really had a very bad experience. The floor was super dirty and so were the tables and the food was really not tasty. In my experience, it is highly recommended for people who want to come here with family or a couple.

The young lady at the cash register had been very helpful, until she grabbed the vegetables with her bare hands and put them in the sandwich. Terrible!! Definitely a NO GO for me. We were there last week and ordered fries and hamburgers and when it was a year we had to get it at the counter and then others came and they were able to bring the food to the table. That was quite strange. Forget the yellow arches, here they have the tastiest croquette burger! Just a little bigger, good Piccadilly sauce, firm bun and just a real, genuine croquette in between. Chicken nuggets get a 9 (I actually mainly missed the sauce) The straws and the milkshake are again a 10. A large, thick straw, through which you can finally drink a milkshake - which does not become weak and does not give off a cardboard taste. Kudos to these drivetru heroes!

If you order at the counter you can expect freshly baked food, but this will not be honored. The well-known Special is now very special: small, tasteless, greasy like never before. What a decline in quality, while the price has increased by 100% compared to 3 years ago. Febo has lost me as a customer. Then again: mayonnaise only costs €0.80. This is a very bad establishment.
