Had a drink with snacks, half past 11 last round, ordered drinks had to pay immediately. 23:50 big lights on and heathers off

Beautiful inviting terrace. Ordered a soup and a bread-avocado. Sandwich was fine, but the soup was inedible. The chef is clearly head over heels in love, because it was very much too salty. Waiter promised new soup but it didn't come and nothing more was said about it. We left. No apologies heard, and no offer of compensation. Very unfortunate, we won't go back and don't recommend it to others either. Maybe the problem can be solved by a new chef?

We thought we would have a nice time at Fellini during the street festival. We had to pay 11 euros and would pay with 50 euros in cash. But this was not possible, we could only pay with the pin and we didn't have that with us. What kind of ridiculous fuss is this, there was no discussion possible and we had to change the 50 euros somewhere and pay the 11 euros in cash. Worthless!!! So we will never come here again😡😡

Always delicious, always stylish, always enjoyable. I definitely take my guests there and I have never been embarrassed. It appeals to your stomach, your eyes and your soul with its menu that changes from time to time and always has delicious plates and unique presentations and satisfying portions. It always gets full marks from us. In hot weather, finding a table outside is a matter of luck because they don't take reservations outside. But I recommend reservations for inside as well. Especially on weekends and for dinner. There is a paid parking lot right next to it that you can exit.

Walked in through their beautiful terrace. I had to speak to the staff because no one came to us. Indicated that we had made a reservation and we were allowed to sit on the terrace or inside. We opted for inside and the staff quickly came to us with the menu. Then ordered drinks and shortly afterwards the starters and main courses. Some of the servers were attentive and saw us and some were very focused on the terrace. We thought the bread board was fine beforehand, but the focaccia was firm and too hard in structure. We are used to something different. Main course the tournedos and I give this a measly 5. Not very well roasted (too soft fire) which resulted in a soft exterior. Also a strong sesame flavor in their dark tasteless gravy which I really didn't like. Make it simple with, for example, mushroom sauce or herb butter and it would have been a lot more pleasant. Furthermore, I found the tournedos to have little taste and the garnish that came with them was quite boring. Overall it wasn't our thing and we'll keep it to 1 time.

Felini cheese steak with cheddar sauce/gravy. Great! Staff is very attentive! Only they can't make reservations during lunch even though my mother has COPD. She can't walk far. So a little certainty is desirable. Very unfortunate. A bit sad.

As far as possible, they took into account and adapted dietary requirements (low-salt/salt-free). Great because the terrace was really busy due to the weather!

This morning with my mother, old lady with a walker, refused by the staff because the restaurant didn't open for another 5 minutes. We were not allowed to take a seat on the terrace and wait quietly. Small detail: my mother has been a regular customer for years, but they have now lost her.

I ate here last week and got food poisoning. Don't order food here!

Had something to eat here before we went to the movies. Great goat cheese salad and pasta with chicken. Friendly and cheerful staff. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended! Unfortunately, shortly after my review from 2 years ago, they no longer serve goat cheese salad :(

Food is just fine, simple but pricey. Panini with very thin layer of tuna n pesto, panini caprese again with very little filling, the panini both very hard to bite, Pasta bolognese vegetarian that almost cannot taste the ragout, Over fried of sweet potato fries resulting bitter taste, Chicken karage still not well cook inside. Staff was ok but i have the feeling they have an attitude of dismissal as soon as they see you finishing your meal n drinks. They kept coming to the table to ask if you want to order more drinks etc... I mean i do understand that they need to generates income as much as possible with the limited seat they have, but it seems like they dont let us take a break. My daughter 10yrs was taking out a bag of popcorn, the waitress saw it and directly said that its not allowed to eat any food from outside the cafe. So i was a bit pissed off since it was only small bag of pocorn for kid. And clearly they dont sell popcorn. Im wondering if they gonna say the same for baby food.

Very busy on Saturday. Reasonably prices for coffee. Friendly service. The lady was very friendly and helped us find our parking ticket. I sometimes see drinks boards with a lot of goodies that I will definitely try again 😉

It was delicious and atmospheric a respectable establishment that maintains a high level of service.

It is not possible to pay in cash and this is not communicated properly on the website anyway. On the door there is a sticker with only cards in English. Unsuspectingly, I wanted to pay in cash, but no discussion was possible, so I ended up paying by card. Cash payment is legal tender. Would that discussion have also taken place if the ATM malfunctioned? Or can you pay in cash? No more visits for me for this reason.

Update Jan 3, 2025 New visit to this busy restaurant! Had a great meal again. Burata was a surprising introduction. I would serve it less cold 🥶 ❄️. Roasted pieces of cabati taste perfect with it. 🥖 The pasta with tenderloin or salmon are tasty and quite generous. A little salad/raw food would be nice🥗. The rum steak🥩 was super overcooked and fell apart. Delicious 😋 This dish was also more than sufficient. Together with fries and salad 🥗 a bit too much... Compliments for the very wide choice of non-alcoholic drinks 👍🏼 Eating out is not cheap and Fellini is no exception. It wasn't any less PRESSURE. Service neat and fairly smooth. Nov 2024 We had a delicious meal at Fellini😋 Service (young) was friendly and quick 💁🏼 We first had some drinks and then ate a plate of pasta! 🍝🍴. Unfortunately you will not receive an attachment. Been here twice in recent weeks. Had lunch once. I ordered a chai latte without sugar. Unfortunately I received 1 with sugar. Well okay that can happen. My mother-in-law got the wrong sandwich. This has been exchanged for the good one again. Also fine. Later we had another drink with my husband. I had a fresh ginger tea. Came in a very small cup of lukewarm water. This prevented the ginger from absorbing its flavor into the water. Expected a larger glass for that price. The waiter no longer came to us. Tried to get their attention. My husband finally walked in and paid for it. Drink the lukewarm tasteless tea. Let's just say it will be because of the December crowds. The atmosphere was great and the location was beautiful.

Normally me and my friends have a great time at fellini! Only unfortunately today this experience has been changed by the owner. We had made a reservation at 7 o'clock to have drinks there. It was not indicated that we were going to have dinner there. So we get there and we sit down, ordered a drink and nachos. My friends and I were having a nice chat until the owner suddenly comes to our table and says: 'No offense, but between 18 and 20 you can only dine here. This is also stated on our website. Now there are 7 people in the kitchen and you only order nachos!' We were a bit shocked by this because normally this is not a problem and this was also not mentioned on the website or Google. We ate our nachos and drank our drinks, we paid promptly and also said something about it to the friendly waiter. He apologized several times and was very friendly towards us. Of course we were not angry at him, but we did indicate that the owner could react more normally. A different tone would certainly have been better!

Echt heerlijk gegeten, voorgerecht broodplankje klein was vooral veel! Hoofdgerecht was lekker en voldoende. Wel veel hoge tafels waar we niet gek op zijn maar deze krukken zaten goed. Prijs is prima, halve liters voor acceptabele prijs.

Terrace with potential, if it weren't for the fact that 1 person from the service staff on the terrace on October 20, 2024 threw a spanner in the works. Man with dark hair and no neck is clearly so insecure that he has no attitude and therefore behaves very inappropriately for his position. His inappropriate behavior towards female colleagues gave me vicarious shame and when they noticed that one person in our group who was watching football with one eye slanted was cheering at a goal for his club, the waiter could not express his disgust for that club. hide and for the rest of the time he made just loud enough comments to his colleagues such as 'those dot dot dot dot have won again'. Very childish, especially during working hours.

It is more a "LOUNGE place than a Restaurant. The food and therefore the menu are nothing spectacular. In fact a bit pricy and boring. It's definitely a place to "LOUNGE" for the crowd between 25 and 45. Very busy place with a great outdoor terrace. Big Cocktails is what they know best ....... easy money maker!

In itself, Fellini City Lounge is a pleasant place to sit outside when the weather is good. The quality of the food is good. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and service-oriented. Points of criticism are the exorbitant prices of the cocktails and the fact that you cannot simply pay with cash. A bit high on your head, Fellinietje.....

Just think about drinking a beer and watching Ajax in the meantime, but then you have a sad waiter walking around. Check his phone every now and then and when the opponent scores, walk by smiling and quietly make comments. Sad figure who thinks he is the male.

Large terrace with too few and inattentive staff. Uncleared tables. Staff who have seen you and say they are coming to take your order walk back inside and you never see them again. After almost half an hour of waiting at an uncleaned table, we left again. Provide QR codes on your tables so that people can order themselves and you only have to focus on serving if you employ so few and uninterested staff.

She later told me that without a single word, the plate had been placed on the table from behind her without her even seeing anyone! At checkout I received the coffee for free as a saving grace. Just fine! Later I thought "September, new class of students, management work to be done". Beautiful surroundings in the heart of Leeuwarden. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. Just everything okay. sufficient and also friendly and efficient staff and delicious food. What more could you want?

Sit on Fellini's terrace for lunch, very friendly staff. Had a carpaccio sandwich which was superb. Well spread on delicious fresh bread. Everything in good proportion. Value for money. It is worth taking a seat on a terrace here if you are in Leeuwarden, in bad weather you can also sit inside.

All was good, but if I compare the price to other places I've been to, I'd say it's too expensive for what you get. De tournedos was good, but not unforgettable.

Price quality of the drinks board was not good. Way too expensive for what you get.

We wilden graag wat eten maar hadden niet hele grote trek. Dit was een leuk restaurant midden op een pleintje. Het personeel moest in het begin een beetje op stoom komen, maar op het laatst waren ze erg vriendelijk. We hadden een plank met broodjes als vooraf en een pizza om te delen. Prima plek om lekker te zitten.

We hadden een heerlijke salade met ossenhaas puntjes. De bediening was super vriendelijk en attent, het eten kwam snel (niet tè snel) en het zit er gewoon heel leuk. Fijne sfeer. Enige nadeel is de harde akoestiek. Ik zou er met oudere mensen niet gaan eten.

well what can I say. Have eaten here before. 1st time was pizza. not really my taste. Now had chicken sandwich. was fine. I had the feeling that the chicken either came from the freezer or was very cold. If I compare it with Roast, my preference is Roast.

The place is pricey but has a cool vibe. Unfortunately I had a bad experience since they didn't let me know beforehand they only accept cards. Having only cash it was really a problem, having to ask someone else to pay for me. Not good.
