La Strada Italian Street Food in Binnenstad

Had a delicious meal! Tastes super artisanal

After an afternoon in Leeuwarden, we had a delicious pizza here.

Delicious food, great host with ditto wine :)

Very good food and perfect service 👌

A good three-course meal for a low price! Delicious pizza and tiramisu. It seems like a simple place, but the food is really good.

Highly recommend this place, got lasagna and 2 types of pasta. Everything was delicious and the tiramisu ofc 🤌

Super place highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Four of us ate an appetizer and a pizza here on a Thursday evening. Everything was fine and tasted good.

Very friendly staff, food absolutely delicious, a definite recommendation! Thank you very much!

Good, friendly service and delicious fresh food. Definitely recommended!

Unfortunately, the pizza was in the oven too long. The pasta could have used that time. It was more than firm to the bite. The portions were large and could certainly have been delicious. Unfortunately, there was no change after asking.

Had a wonderful lunch with the lunch deal. Enjoying the waterfront and people-watching. Highly recommended.

Quick pick up from and amazing pizza, definitely a “go to”

I had fettuccine pasta and the sauce was very good , but the dish was let down by not quite al dente pasta. It was a bit chewy. I’ll go again and if I order the pasta I’ll ask for it to be a little more cooked. The pizza on the next table looked good.

Fine Italian pizza and more. Located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, it's a great tip.

The three of us stopped here for lunch. The restaurant was busy, and the chef had his hands full. We had to wait a bit, but were compensated with delicious pizza Margherita and piadina vega. The latter was truly fantastic! We'd love to come back!

Great restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious pizza, perfectly cooked, with tasty ingredients. Fast service. We were there for lunch, but were the only guests 🤷‍♀️

People I wouldn't buy food from here this owner is lost, he doesn't know what he's doing

Super delicious pizzas, very friendly service! A very pleasant pizzeria.

The food was so delicious I felt like I'd been to Italy. The wine was delicious, and everything arrived quickly. We'll definitely be back!

Very tasty pizza! We especially loved the base!

I really don't like injustice, hence this review. **Black Pink's** comment is completely inaccurate. The owner is a nice man who gets really sick of all those cyclists cycling in front of his business/on his terrace all day long!! I would be too. Cycling is NOT allowed on that street!!! In case you didn't know. It's a shame enforcement wasn't enforced (expensive joke). The food is delicious. Friendly owner. Location is less than stellar; lots of annoying cyclists on the terrace who cycle in front of you. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The food was super delicious, definitely worth it. Super super...

You can also just get a pizza here for lunch, characteristic street and delicious pizza!

Lucy is there to take care about service, You can taste a bit o italy in Leeuwarden

The bruschetta was very tasty, and the salami pizza was also good, but for my taste, there was too much crust. What I didn't like was that my plate was cleared away while I was still holding my last slice of pizza.

We were attracted by the fantastic reviews. We went there full of expectations. We ordered a great Pinot Grigio. We ate a bread board and ‘bruchetta’ with tomato. Which in reality was three toasted sandwiches with a tiny bit of tomato and especially a lot of raw garlic. The pizza had grated cheese that had not yet melted. The carbonara was neat with egg but had exactly 6 pieces of bacon. The ravioli was hard and especially very fatty. All four of us got quite sick from the food. We reported this to this restaurant and were told that this was not possible because ‘everything came from the freezer’. According to the nice man, we had ‘caught it somewhere else’. No apologies or sympathy. No further questions but blame the guest. Very unfortunate. Absolutely not recommended.

Very good price/quality ratio. The pizzas that we ate in our group of 4 people and all 4 were different, were very tasty. For example, the pizza Funghi was, when asked to the chef/owner, treated with a marinade of wine and garlic. This made for a unique taste experience. The pizzas were wonderfully airy and crispy in terms of base and not greasy and the topping was not too abundant. In short, a strong recommendation with this friendly host/hostess! To give a tip; maybe do something about the interior?!

I would love to give a big fat ZERO. Last time the owner was closing the shop and we were riding past on our bikes, & he wasn't paying attention at all (because he was putting the sign inside). & I almost bumped into him & I spoke to him about his behavior because he didn't move aside, unfortunately he made fun of me. & he attacked me then my mother spoke to him & then he dared to be aggressive. Eventually we cycled away & we heard him swear with the word of that horrible disease word. Good luck with this shitty place because if you treat people like that for nothing it says more about you. Avoid this place at all costs.

I ordered in delivery, perfect! Same level as my mum lasagne, Thank you !

Fantastic food, good service and not expensive! Went with a group of 10 people and didn't have to wait long for our food.

Had a great meal, as a starter menu bruscatta, pizzas and dessert tiramisu and dame blance. Located centrally and pleasantly decorated.

Delicious! Best pizzas in Leeuwarden. The cannoli are also great.

The best street food in the Netherlands LASTRADA LEEUWARDEN

The tastiest Italian sandwiches in Leeuwarden

Tasty food and friendly service. It is located in a nice side street where it is relatively quiet. The prices are really more than fine. The dinner deal is highly recommended!

Tonight we had an unexpected dinner with 5 people. Pizzas were super tasty! Finally a pizzeria that makes really good pizzas. Good sauce, thin base and not too many toppings, just as it should be. Service was good, not pushy but just polite. Top pizzeria 👍

Delicious food! Attractive 3-course menu. Cozy simple furnishings. Definitely worth joining!

Delicious food! Nice quiet atmosphere soup pizza quattro formaggi and the tiramisu definitely recommended ;)

Delicious pizza quattro formaggia and espresso & canneloni! Relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant for a good price. Food was very good!

Very tasty, and super good service

The lunch deal is really great at La Strada Italian Street Food! Here you really get value for money, had a nice lunch with good service here!

Delicious lunch at La Strada I spontaneously ended up at La Strada for lunch, and it turned out to be a bull's eye. The restaurant is small, atmospheric and exudes that typical Italian cosiness. You immediately feel at ease. The food was surprisingly good. Simple in design, but everything was right: fresh, well-seasoned and clearly prepared with care. No excess, just pure dishes as they are meant to be. The service was friendly and attentive, without being too present. The lunch menu is not large, but well composed. Everything I saw passing by looked appealing. La Strada is one of those places you like to come back to. Ideal for a relaxed lunch, and probably also a nice place to eat in the evening.

Super tasty food tent, fast and friendly staff, tasty food and good service. Recommended for a relaxed dinner

Fenomenaal lekkere pizza, warm en vriendelijk personeel en een rustiek sfeertje. Had ik al gezegd dat de pizza buitenaards lekker was? Absoluut een keer proberen hier.

Phenomenally delicious pizza, warm and friendly staff and a rustic atmosphere. Did I mention the pizza was out-of-this-world delicious? Definitely give it a try here.

Pizza had thick crusts and was quite thin in the middle, the lasagna was also a fairly small portion. There was only 1 Italian beer from the bottle, so no choice. Since we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food, we decided to skip dessert.

Very tasty food. Definitely recommended! Top service and fantastic pizzas.

Very nice to sit, eat and drink. Friendly guy standing there who did everything on his own. Be sure to visit us more often.

Friendly owner, food always fresh and you can taste it! Fantastic tent!

Very good pizza, very warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere…

Great Italian food and very affordable.

Excellent pizzas, as you are used to in Italy

Great three course lunch with soft drinks. So delicious. And that for 15 euros. Delicious chicken soup like back home. Warm crispy ciabatta. Order an espresso with the cannoli yourself and you can enjoy it for a whole afternoon in Leeuwarden. B and M from Doesburg

Very well cared for! And food of excellent quality.

Very good pizzas. Warm atmosphere and very pleasant service!

**Excellent pizzas and pastas!** As a pizza and pasta lover, I can't help but rave about my experience at this restaurant! The pizzas are absolutely top notch – thin, crispy base with the perfect balance of toppings and a delicious tomato sauce that is really infused with flavour. The Salami pizza was of excellent quality and you can really taste the ingredients. The pastas are also a feast for the taste buds: the pasta Carbonara had the perfect thickness and the sauce was packed with flavor. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and the staff friendly, which completes the experience. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, you should definitely visit this place. I'll definitely be back!

Great food! Friendly gentleman serving & delicious pizzas and pasta! Price/quality ratio is great. We will definitely come back!

Delicious lunch. Focaccia Prosciutto. The pizzas were also great. Relaxed atmosphere!

Delicious lunch. The lunch special was really special: delicious Italian chicken soup, richly filled sandwich and a tasty canoli to finish 😋 Highly recommended!

Very very tasty pizza. Nice little shop. Service was great and the waiting time was short. Always my pleasure. Thanks

Delicious food and super hospitable, definitely recommended!

Delicious food! The pasta carbonara was very tasty and the owner (who also served us) was very hospitable. Definitely recommended!

Very successful, la strada sandwich twice. Friendly laid back guy and good food and service

Great food, service, and environment! 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious pizzas, pastas, cheese plates and one of a kind desserts

Fantastic collaboration, good communication and of course the best pizza and pasta in Leeuwarden. Absolutely recommended!

Little insider tip. Recommendation from Hotel van der valk. We ate here yesterday and today. Top. Above all, very friendly and good food. Price performance great.?

Disappointing experience. The pizza was not round but angular in shape. The chicken was dry and the edges were fried black, which affected the taste. The base was also not baked properly and did not have the right texture. Unfortunately not what I had hoped for.

Nice place with friendly staff. Tasty food. Highly recommended.

Small but nice shop. While we were touring the city, we were looking for an opportunity to eat. We came here spontaneously and were very satisfied. The food was very tasty and the service was very good.

Small Italian restaurant with great food!

Everything is right here! Just go inside and enjoy to the max!

Delicious food for everyone's wallet. The lasagna was made with love. Very powerful but well prepared with delicious herbs. The ravioli with spinach was also well prepared and plentiful. In any case, you get value for your money. The ambiance could be better, the Italian feeling could be more prominent without the Christmas lights and less bright spotlights. All in all a more than excellent restaurant🙏

Delicious food. Friendly staff.

It's great food I had an chicken pasta and my friend had a pizza. We had an dessert after. I had great tiramisu.

Delicious food. All dishes were tasty and friendly service. Highly recommended!

The food is very bad, high prices, and bad service. I do not recommend it to anyone

We had the special, 3 courses for a more than reasonable price. Great service and delicious food. Recommended!

Nice food but not quite 5 stars. Nice waitress, but a language barrier. Great atmosphere at this location in the city center!

You can get the tastiest pizza Tonno here.

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant, top service and for a very good price. I'll definitely return.

Today I ate here for the second time with my daughter. I don't need many words for this. The best 🍕 pizzas in Leeuwarden and the surrounding area are served here. The service and hospitality are top notch.‼️

Very cozy and cozy, and the food tastes like the Italian 😊

Delicious food, both lunch and dinner. Good prices, friendly staff. Enjoy every time I eat here!

Gezellig restaurantje, rustige sfeer, topfood. De bediening verloopt vlot, je proeft verse producten. De kok neemt zijn tijd om kwaliteit af te leveren.

Delicious pizza, German speaking, clean, good service

5 stars … ‘nough said. Honest, fresh, tasteful, nourishing, priceworthy, accessible, friendly, relaxed. A place to linger for a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, a gracious lunch or a generous dinner.

Gorgeous place, lovely people, great atmosphere!

La Strada is a cozy Italian restaurant. Do you feel like eating or drinking a really tasty Italian Pizza or Cappuccino? Then come and visit us.

Super fresh, exceptionally tasty and well cared for

I have just ordered a pizza in different restaurant for 10 eur that have so much seafood on it that in your restaurant the same pizza would cost 150? 180eur? The price and amount of seafood in dish made me leave 1/10 rating

Super delicious food and fine wines

Nor pizza or pinsa, the dough was really bad, it’s a shame since the service was good but what was that flat gummy raw thing under the toppings?

We chose the institution based on reviews and high ratings. One of the advantages is that it is located in the very center. It's clean here. The owner is friendly and pleasant. The pizza was disappointing: the salami is too salty, the dough is thin, as it should be in a pizza. But the sides of the pizza did not rise after baking and were dry and not tasty. Which indicates the poor quality of the pizza dough

Delicious lunch. Friendly owner.

Delicious food in cozy surroundings.

Top! Friendly owner, tasty pizza. Sole proprietorship, so not an overcrowded restaurant but a limited number of tables. Recommended!
