Five Guys in Wijk 28 Centrum

Encouraged by the opinions I responded to the place. Clean, plenty of seating. Perfect service. Portion large, fries huge portion. You make hamburgers however you want. Tasty. Unfortunately they were a bit too cold. You can drop in once a year.

Well, the famous burger and hottogo restaurant. A lot of dirt (McDonalds is much cleaner), but the food is the best.

This restaurant is amazing. Their fries are probably the best Fries I have ever eaten. It's fresh, hot, and crispy. I have tried their vege Burger. It was delicious. The burger was big but comfortable to take a bite in. You can get unlimited peanuts and drink refills. Lekker!

Very Very loud and bad music with very white light. Also this time the food wasn't very good.

Food is always good, but recent visits the packing in the bag is annoying - have to reach through all the fries to get burgers from the bottom - and the Coke Freestyle machine has been dispensing awful blends of soda. Will still go for food but skip the overpriced nasty soda in the future.

For 3 burgers and 2 milkshakes eur 50, it’s a joke. The meat was tasteless, bread soggy, the portion of a double is not huge but it is big enough. I can not comment on fries as I had none. Milkshakes were decent. People were friendly. Atmosphere terrible and it stunk like piss close to the entrance. Absolutely not worth the price for what you get and the competition is cheaper and in my view better. Flabbergasted how expensive a tasteless burger can be. I give 3 stars for the friendly service but the place didn’t feel nor smelled clean, it was like they used the same water in the whole week to mop the floors. For me not a repeat.

Good burgers with wide choice of toppings. However, the fries are way too salty and the price is quite high. The atmosphere is even more unpleasant than a MacD or BurgerK.

I had to try Five Guys as there is not one in Helsinki. Nice burger and very nice shake.

First time at Five Guys in The Netherlands. The burgers have a reputation of being very good but a bit expensive. That true but they are so much better than any other fast food chain is serving that the higher price is justified. The fries was excellent as well and the milkshake too. Service is friendly and waiting time ok. Altogether well worth a visit.

Especially the lady with glasses and short hair at the cash register is very friendly. When he saw that we were upset that the cola machine was broken, he gave us our bottled drinks free of charge. It's an incredible situation in the Netherlands! Sister deserves more than 5 stars :) Also, the peanuts piled in the middle are free of charge. You can take and eat as much as you want as long as you sit down. We were very pleased with what we ate, it was very delicious.

Huge bleak looking space with terrible lighting, tables and floors full of trash, super loud obnoxious music, insanely expensive fast food, long wait, no table service. Makes going to McDonald's feel like a Michelin star experience. Terrible!

The meal was fine, but the soft drink machine was out of order and there were no onions in stock. Very unfortunate!

Delicious burger but I had better ones for sure

The burgers were really tasty but the prices are pretty expensive now. The restaurant was very dirty, people were stuck to the tables. There was a lot of garbage and leftover food on the floor. No recommendation 😕.

Meh. More than €12.50 for a simple snack bar burger can be called overpriced. For a menu you will spend more than €20-25. That is bizarre. I didn't get any free peanuts to use while waiting. That's a shame, because that was promised. I like the interior. Also transparency in the kitchen and beyond. Nice concept. Not worth repeating. Burger King is much better in terms of price-quality ratio!

The cashier didn't explain how it worked, even though it was mentioned that it was our first time there. Nevertheless, the burger was tasty without any toppings or sauces.

For a change, I tried the hype surrounding it. Nice atmosphere with hardworking staff, clean place, good food. But we paid 48 euros for 2 hamburger menus. After that, never five guys again. Expensive as f*ck not worth it.

2 cheeseburgers and 1 strawberry milkshake together €30. Quite pricey, but the taste makes up for everything. Very tasty and fresh, plus unlimited choice of toppings! The atmosphere inside is not very pleasant, but you will be outside again in no time. Free 🥜 shelled peanuts = extra plus!

I'm not a beef person. So no comments on the food. Went as a company to my other family members. Nice vibe. Good service. And my kins loved their burgers. So go for it.

Never been until today. Upon arrival I thought it was really expensive. I was helped very nicely, but in 2024 of course in English... I opted for a cheese dog with jalapeno, mustard hot sauce and pickles..... A really tasty meal. Well worth 9.25 euros... Burgers from 11 euros. Will try it next time.... Atmosphere is ala Burger King. Clean and cold

I am rating this place considering that is a Fast food chain and not a regular restaurant. Food is great, don't feel bloated afterward so is the quality meat, the lady we got at the register that day she was in particular super nice, so sweet and well spoken, I dont know if you will get such as nice worker everytime and I dont want to be biased but 2-3 I have being here I dont remember having issues. Hey if you need to pick a fast food place, 5 Guys is always a good pick, portions are filling, and I don't find it too pricy considering that and the taste of the food or compared to other chains, you can even have fun with the big drink selection, they do keep the American style ambiance despite being in the Netherlands which in this particular case is what makes 5guys a nice Highlight.

I previously gave 5 stars because this is my favorite burgers spot in the Netherlands. Their food is top and the service is always top. But Saddly today (31/08/2024) I had a very bad experience with the cashier. She was really rude. I hope the management can do something about it. She didn’t add the sauces that i asked for in my burger . And when I asked her to add it she told me to wait aside till she finishes the current customer. After that customer finished she moved to the next customer and ignored me. Then when I asked her to let the cook know to add it for the burger, she said you can do it yourself at the back of the restaurant. I then spoke to one of the cooks and he understood and added them. He was collaborative and nice guy. Thanks for that! Back to the cashier: The way she was talking and acting is just rude and I don’t understand why someone like that is placed to represent the restaurant. I hope management can do something about it.

I'm a big fan of fiveguys and this place did not disappoint

I recently visited Five Guys, and while there were some positives, my overall experience was underwhelming. The meat was juicy and cooked well, but the quality of the cheese left much to be desired—it didn't add much flavor and seemed below average. The add-ons, however, were fresh and plentiful, adding a nice touch to the burger. Unfortunately, the bun was a major disappointment. It became soggy almost immediately, which made the burger difficult to enjoy. For a place known for its burgers, I expected much better. Lastly, the price is quite steep for what you get. While I don't mind paying more for quality, the product here simply doesn't justify the high cost. With some improvements, particularly in the bun and cheese, Five Guys could live up to its reputation, but as it stands, it's not worth the price.

Go to burger place for consistently good food and service

Quite pricey, but all prices have risen enormously these days. However, you can grab unlimited ketchup and mayonnaise. As well as refill your drinks cup with a very wide variety of drinks. In addition, the food is tasty and special. The staff is friendly, but there is no special ambiance... very bright light... everything too white... for my taste. But taste is debatable. Definitely recommended. I think whoever tries it out will come here more often instead of going to another better-known chain.

We regularly go to Five Guys especially for the Reese's peanut butter cups milkshake.

Tried Five Guys for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered 2 burgers and large fries. Also ordered some drinks, which you could refill for free. I only just finished the drink together with the burger and fries, so the refill was not necessary. There were a lot of choices for drinks. The burgers were delicious. You only order here for the burger, bread and some cheese. And you can add extra toppings for free at no extra cost. After a short wait we received our food… in a bag. A cardboard bag. It doesn't really matter to me whether that's faster or more efficient, it's simply inconvenient to eat. The food itself was very tasty, with an emphasis on the burgers. They are much better than any burgers I've had at McDonald's. And the downside was that the fries were very soft, no crispy edge, no snap when you bite into them. The peanut flavor is original and would be perfect if they were nice and hard. In vain, the price is high, but the quality matches it.

The food portions are really big and delicious

Great food, but the price is INSANE... A cheeseburger for 13 bucks is alright, considering the quality, but because there is no menu option, you end up paying 23 bucks for the burger, small fries and a drink. For that price, I can go to any of the burger restaurants nearby and get similar quality food, but with way better service and atmosphere. So if you don't like getting ripped off, better steer clear of this place.

We tried this brand for the first time. Everything was good but one of the staff members named Robert, if I am not mistaken, was an outstanding staff member. He was very friendly, dutiful and experienced and patiently gave us all the information we needed to order the food. During the time we spent in the restaurant, he was busy and always had a smile on his face. I would like to thank Robert here.

Even though it's a large-scale fast food chain, the quality is fantastic. Every single time, the burger and milkshake deliver. This branch in The Hague even has friendly staff.

Nice food and atmosphere. The people working here usually receive you with good will. The peanuts are very tasty 😋. Points for the Hamburguer wrapped in lettuce!

I went in to order at 21:53 on 07/26/2024. Even though the blue-haired woman at the cash register saw me, she chatted with the customers in front of me for 5 minutes. I gave up on ordering. If she wanted to chat after ordering, she could have chatted with other customers.

Nice place to eat at and it’s close to Den Haag Centraal. It’s quite overpriced but that’s just the way Five Guys is, I guess.

This place was recommended to me and I certainly wasn't disappointed! Very friendly employee who only spoke English (no problem for us), the food was very tasty and a small fries was a large portion, the milkshake (which you could mix yourself as desired) was very tasty. The restaurant itself was busy, but still had a quiet atmosphere and it was kept neatly clean (as requested). Price is a bit on the high side. Would definitely go again :)

I have two equally favorite burger places in the Hague and this is one of them, despite being a world-famous chain! They do everything right and considering how fresh, tasty, and filling everything is it is worth the price! Lovely milkshakes, just at the right sweetness. Amazing skin-on hand-cut fries fried in peanut sauce. If you choose not to enjoy the american-dineresque interior and their versatile drink fountain and have it at home instead you'll have your order delivered to you perfectly warm and intact!

Just the way it is….very good burgers, good service but the restaurants looks terrible.

That was a delicious adventure. Bacon cheeseburger was the best I ever tried. Also fries with spices extremely good. I like the opportunity to add whatever you would like to your milkshake (we took with Oreo and bacon)

Overrated. And overpriced. Shame

I have experienced in several restaurants that you do not get what you order. Ordering takes a long time because everyone in front of you gets a lot of questions about the options next to your dish. For fast food, the food is relatively expensive. Preparation, on the other hand, is very quick. You will then receive a hamburger that has been carefully prepared. Well baked and freshly made. This Five Guys was very clean. This also applies to the toilets. That is very good, especially in such a busy area.

Cashier Regina C is the best. Very friendly and helpful. Loved her. Give her a raise! Food incredible as well.

The food here was so good. The food didn't taste cheap or very fast food like and was really a great meal. The staff here are always kind and helpful. We loved the free peanuts and of course the amazing customizable milkshakes. I highly recommend this place.

It’s expensive, at around €22 for paprika chips, a cheese burger, and a water. The meat has no flavour. The paprika chips are too salty. The portion is too big, but I guess if you split between two people it’s better value for money.

We simply love this place! We’ve been to Five Guys in NY and Orlando and now we met the Dutch Five Guys. It is exactly the same perfect burger! (Only more expensive, so be ready to spend more Euros than you would have export in USD, but it soooo worth it!)

As with many stores across the chain, there is excellent selection, quality and friendly staff. Easily accessible and averagely good prices. However, a little would have to be invested in the ambience, as it already shows some strong signs of wear.

1 star is still a lot. 2 limp, lukewarm fries, 2 watery milkshakes and a wet burger for almost 40.

If you want to experience American fast food in the Netherlands then this is certainly a good place for it. The food tastes almost exactly the same as it does in the US and the decor is also very similar, which makes it pretty unique. That does mean that the food can be overly salty or that you get way more food than you thought you would get. Although the latter might not be an issue for you. The free soda refills and milkshakes are very nice as well! (but again, they taste very American)

The best and freshest hamburgers&fries that you will ever find. While it is a chain-restaurant? The quality is WAY better than McDonalds or Burgerking. If you ask for small fries? Don't look strange if they give you extra, all their potatoes are also stored inside of the store and visible for display.

In the year I've been living in the Netherlands, I haven't tasted tastier burgers than in this restaurant, the most delicious cutlets, friendly staff

The food is great and I really like the fact that all the toppings are included. These are my favorite fast food burgers hands down. The Cajun fries are very tasty and wether you get Cajun or normal fries they come in a huge amount which is great. Sauces are free and you can get as much as you want which is unique to them here in the Netherlands, at least in my experience so far. The Coca Cola machine is a really nice addition since I love trying new combinations and unlimited refills are always appreciated. My only issue is that sometimes the make errors in the orders. I ordered a hotdog without cheese and they added cheese to it, maybe for some people that’s something they would like but I am lactose intolerant so it’s annoying that I had to wait for them to make my hot dog again. My friend ordered a burger and he never stated that he wanted it without buns, he just said he wanted a burger however they mistakenly made it without the buns and then rather than assemble the burger they just gave him buns and told him to assemble it himself which given all the toppings that come on the burger is a messy task without gloves or aluminum foil. The service has some space to improve but other than that great place to eat.

I ordered a bacon burger and got the ingredients in a bowl without the buns. Then I asked one of the employees that they made a mistake and they just gave me the buns. Sort of a DIY burger.

It's just ridiculous that you can't pay with cash.

Delicious burgers for a steep price. It tastes fresh and homemade, which cannot be said of the other burger chains in town. Go for the bacon cheeseburger with 'all the way' toppings.

The Bacon Cheeseburger at Five Guys is really good! I love how they include mushrooms in the burger – it adds a nice touch. Also, the fact that they offer free peanuts and unlimited refills is awesome. Overall, it's a great burger joint to visit.

Amazing burgers! A bit expensive if you compare them with other fast food chains, but so worth it. Small tip: when you order fries, keep in mind that the servings are pretty big. Service was pretty quick for a Sunday night.

Best burguer in Den Haag. The only bad thing is ALWAYS the quantity of salt on the fries. Unbelievable. If they cut by half it will be still salty.

I've been to a good few of Five Guys joints and this one, despite being the emptiest of them all, was by far the dirtiest.

My experience at Five Guys in Valencia was better. There was only 1 person taking orders, which caused a long line and ultimately meant that I didn't feel like ordering an extra milkshake afterwards. The fries were limp while I'm used to them being crispy. I was constantly spoken to in English, I think we live in the Netherlands. By the way, the employees were not exactly friendly/cheerful. Cash was refused and paid parking. + 2 stars because the food is freshly prepared, such as the fries, burgers and bacon.

7 € for regular fries are too much. The food is unlovely thrown in a paperbag. The burger are tasty, but also too expensive.

It's a Five Guys. It's nice and has that diner vibe, but it's a bit barebones and overpriced.

Really average veggie sandwich, impossible to eat and lacking flavour despite adding sauce and jalapeños. First two cups for the soda machine were dirty - good initiative for reusable cups but fail on basic cleaning. Just underwhelming.

Hmm having a big problem with this joint really. If the burgers (and the fries) that I make at home are better than the hyped up burgers I get here, it makes me think I should open a burger joint. It’s below average for what you get. It’s also suuuper expensive. 2 hamburgers for 36€? Really? I don’t know… I’d say go buy the best meat and buns you can find. Cook it yourself and save about 30€ is my advice!
