I like the fries but I love the burgers

Staff is mostly grumpy and never smile. On top of that had to wait almost 30 minutes for an overpriced burger that gave me food poisoning. Never again.

Prices a bit steep (the only reason for 4 stars). Otherwise...ok. I recommend!

Fantastic burgers and delicious fries.

I wanted to like this place, but the burger missed the mark. Cold, soggy bun, bland meat (tasteless) and messy assembly. Fries and ambiance were the highlights, but overall I wouldn’t recommend this place for a burger.

The music in the restaurant is extremely annoying! The portions are good, delicious, and filling. Of course, the prices are accordingly.

Ordered here via Uber, got a small bag of fries for 10 euros and a soggy burger where I was missing half of the ingredients

Perfect burger , amazing fries and the milkshake is really good too the service is amazing and helpful/polite. It’s amazing place you can relic your drink as many times as you want and also have free extra mayo and ketchup to refil for free as many times as you want !!!!

Very nice restaurant, with high quality burgers and delicious fries (handcut!). Also loved their milkshakes (especially the pistachio one - limited edition). Lots of ways to customize your burger and the veggies with it. Atmosphere is simple, but effective, allowing you to focus on food and get on with your day .

Really good burger. Fries were a little salty but clearly fresh potatoes used in making them- they actually tasted of potato! Price/quality ratio is really good when you consider the cost of any other fast food burger place.

Its a nice and big location. The Burger ist very good, juicy and tasty. Absolutly fantastic. The Pistachio milk shake is not Wirth to buy.

If you like enormous burgers and nothing too fancy, you absolutely have to go to Five Guys. Organic, fresh ingredients and real meat (not what McDonald's pretends to be meat). And yes, your sandwich is wrapped in aluminum foil, which they place in a paper bag. There are tables and chairs in the store, but it seems like no one actually assumes they're being used.

It was outrageous. The employee on the floor acted like we were going to steal. From the moment we walked in, he immediately came over to us and watched (we hadn't asked for help). When we went to get peanuts, we weren't allowed to stand there because the floor could get dirty (okay, fair enough), even though we weren't in anyone's way. We moved them to the trash can, but we weren't allowed there either. Again, no one had to pass by, we weren't in the way, and the store wasn't busy. Meanwhile, other people were doing the exact same thing, but they weren't approached. They were standing in the middle of the store eating, even though they were allowed to. When we went to get sauce, the employee immediately came over to us again, acting like we were going to steal, which wasn't acceptable because the sauce is literally free. This man was watching us the whole time, and everything we did was wrong. All this while we were waiting to pick up our order. A very strange experience.

High prices compared to the quality.

A good place for a quality hamburger in the center of The Hague. It's a bit pricey, but delicious. The fries are delicious. I opted for a hot dog today and liked it. Instead of buying cola, they add powdered cola extract to the water, which I don't think is odd. You should try it.

As soon as you enter the door, you place your order and pay using the digital screen. Their burgers are delicious. A little pricey, but worth it.

The burger and Cajun Fries are very good. The people who are working there are super friendly. They always have a wonderful smile

The best burger I have ever eaten.

The hamburger was delicious. We specifically asked for bacon, but there was no pork in the burgers. They also fry the fries in peanut oil, which was delicious. The portions were large.

The food was fine, the restaurant restrooms were clean. The staff was friendly. Only the music was so loud. And it was hard rock music, too. So that kind of spoiled the atmosphere. Incidentally, because the music was so loud, the staff were shouting. People around you had to speak louder to be heard. I wouldn't eat here for the atmosphere. I'd take it away.

They say they serve extra fries for a reason, but this results in so much fries being thrown away. It's completely unnecessary to serve food that could feed a whole family of eight in one medium fry. The food itself was pretty mediocre for the price, but it was nice that we could refill our drinks. Everything was very American and greasy, and I wouldn't necessarily go there again. The restroom was free, which was nice.

I visited on 02.01.2025, and I was extremely impressed by the food and the service I received. I wanted to take a moment to compliment Istvan B., who handled my order. Istvan was cheerful, welcoming, and made me feel at ease right away. His positive attitude truly enhanced my experience, and he took great care with my order. It’s not every day you encounter someone with such outstanding customer service skills. I ordered a small cheeseburger and small fries, and both were absolutely delicious! The portion of fries was incredibly generous—I couldn’t even finish them! You have to try the Oreo milkshake 10/10 Thank you for the wonderful meal and experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Typical American place. Yes it is expensive but better than McDonald's, which is not cheap anymore... Here you at least get a good filling burger with a bit more quality. The music is very cool and it gives you more the feeling that you are somewhere in an American place. Small fries are good for 2 people and you can keep refilling the soft drinks, very nice.

Create your own hamburger plus multiple potato options. It doesn't get much better than this.

The ambiance is simple, but you get a massive burger, completely customized to your liking. The price is, of course, premium these days, but the burger is worth it.

Everything is delicious, but you have to check your orders carefully because sometimes they're missing things due to the number of customers they always have in their stores.

Great burger, i had a bacon cheeseburger which was maybe the best burger of my life. 3 Beef patty’s and 0 complaints. Refillable cups and all the cola’s in the world at the machine.

Food is allright but the price is too high in my opinion. Burgers could have more salt/seasoning and taste bland (even with toppings and sauce).

Great US burger chain, little pricey but so is everything now.

Missing pictures from menu, thats why customers pay more for food if they dont see the pictures on the menu, overall nothing special, similar to other burger joints, nice that you can choose the toppings.

Always great to see the staff smoke weed all day every day at the back (Bagijnestraat). Makes me really eager to come back. I'm sure being high and working with deep fryers and grills are not a great combination.

I enjoyed the best veggie cheeseburger I've ever eaten here and a vanilla chocolate milkshake. Ordered a large fries which was seriously huge and can easily be shared. Service was friendly and quick. Our meal was expensive though.

My first time trying Five Guys and honestly the burgers were pretty darn good. The fries were excellent! The potatoes are fresh and I found it a nice touch that it's written on the wall where today's batch is brought from. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it, portion size is good and there is uniqueness to the entire experience that is well worth trying.

I wanted to take 5 guys but I got a burger... Disappointed..

Really way too expensive for a glorified snack bar. Portions of fries excessively large (small fries = large fries at normal snack bar). Burgers tasty, but not €16+ tasty... For over €20 a burger and fries, not even drinks, this is simply not value for money.

I went to this Five Guys branch on a Wednesday afternoon. During my visit I received good help from the friendly staff. Communication is in English, but this is less suitable for those who have difficulty with it. The table I was sitting at was dirty, so be careful when choosing a table. During my visit I got a Cheeseburger "All the way" with a Fries Salty (Five Guys Style) and a drinking cup for the dispenser. Let me start with the right drinks, the machines are very user-friendly and you have a lot of choice. Then the bad: the meat on the Cheeseburger was dry and I could barely find the sauce. The fries were WAY too salty, I had trouble eating more than a few fries at a time before they were no longer tasty and I had to take another long sip of my drink. And perhaps the worst part: the price. If I hadn't paid so much for the food, I would have been more lenient, but I lost almost 25EURO. Really ridiculous, in retrospect I would have been better off going to a café or restaurant, then I might have paid less for guaranteed better food. All in all a bad experience and certainly not recommended.

Our first time at Five Guys, we came in a bit late but the server was nice saying that we could stay while they started cleaning. Tried the cheeseburger and the bacon burger and both were nice, the cheeseburger was our favorite. We got large fries and got given some extra so the portion was actually huge (pictured). Also I wasn’t aware that all the burgers came with two patties but it was a nice surprise. Price is not cheap but for the amount of food we got we were pretty satisfied.

Encouraged by the opinions I responded to the place. Clean, plenty of seating. Perfect service. Portion large, fries huge portion. You make hamburgers however you want. Tasty. Unfortunately they were a bit too cold. You can drop in once a year.

This restaurant is amazing. Their fries are probably the best Fries I have ever eaten. It's fresh, hot, and crispy. I have tried their vege Burger. It was delicious. The burger was big but comfortable to take a bite in. You can get unlimited peanuts and drink refills. Lekker!

Food is always good, but recent visits the packing in the bag is annoying - have to reach through all the fries to get burgers from the bottom - and the Coke Freestyle machine has been dispensing awful blends of soda. Will still go for food but skip the overpriced nasty soda in the future.

For 3 burgers and 2 milkshakes eur 50, it’s a joke. The meat was tasteless, bread soggy, the portion of a double is not huge but it is big enough. I can not comment on fries as I had none. Milkshakes were decent. People were friendly. Atmosphere terrible and it stunk like piss close to the entrance. Absolutely not worth the price for what you get and the competition is cheaper and in my view better. Flabbergasted how expensive a tasteless burger can be. I give 3 stars for the friendly service but the place didn’t feel nor smelled clean, it was like they used the same water in the whole week to mop the floors. For me not a repeat.

Good burgers with wide choice of toppings. However, the fries are way too salty and the price is quite high. The atmosphere is even more unpleasant than a MacD or BurgerK.

First time at Five Guys in The Netherlands. The burgers have a reputation of being very good but a bit expensive. That true but they are so much better than any other fast food chain is serving that the higher price is justified. The fries was excellent as well and the milkshake too. Service is friendly and waiting time ok. Altogether well worth a visit.

Especially the lady with glasses and short hair at the cash register is very friendly. When he saw that we were upset that the cola machine was broken, he gave us our bottled drinks free of charge. It's an incredible situation in the Netherlands! Sister deserves more than 5 stars :) Also, the peanuts piled in the middle are free of charge. You can take and eat as much as you want as long as you sit down. We were very pleased with what we ate, it was very delicious.

Huge bleak looking space with terrible lighting, tables and floors full of trash, super loud obnoxious music, insanely expensive fast food, long wait, no table service. Makes going to McDonald's feel like a Michelin star experience. Terrible!
