I hope that more attention will be paid to the quality of the food, checking orders, and customer friendliness.

You ask for a drink without ice, and they won't adjust it: because it's already been ordered. Are you kidding? After what? Just a few moments after ordering, the gentleman wanted to make a change. Truly bizarre.

Worst experience ever! Ordered 2 double deluxe burgers, ready within 1 minute. Upon opening, we saw that they weren't double but single beef patties. Because of this, we went back to the cashier. We were spoken to arrogantly by the lady at the counter. Another employee came over and asked if we wanted an extra patty or a new burger; we chose the latter. Got the new burgers, sat down, and AGAIN a single patty burger with 1 onion and 1 tomato slice on top? I seriously thought it was a joke. Cold burgers without cheese, dry bread, no double patties, barely any toppings. Double deluxe burger where? Even more meager than the first time. I understand that you might accidentally make a burger wrong due to busyness or something, but twice in a row? Asked for a refund because I'm not going to wait for the 3rd failed attempt. No sorry or apologies from the staff, but very angry looks from the cashier when getting the money back. By the way, it wasn't busy in the place at all. All in all, an incompetent bunch; I wouldn't spend a cent here.

We ordered two Smokey Bacon Double Deluxe burgers, but when our food arrived, both had only a single patty instead of two. We informed the cashier, who spoke with the chef. They agreed to remake the burgers, but when we received the second batch, they were still served with only one patty. ​At that point, we asked for a refund. While the chef refunded our money, the cashier was extremely rude and stared us down the entire time. To make matters worse, the burgers looked unappetizing—there was hardly any bacon, no cheese, and the buns were dry. Also while we were waiting, another customer complained about his order.Very disappointing experience and poor service.

It's just another burger place, but the unfortunate surprise is that they charge for using the restrooms and make you pay €1 for a cup. If I'd known, I wouldn't have come.

During a day of shopping in The Hague city center, I stopped by the Burger King on Spuistraat for a quick bite. The location is truly ideal, right in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle, and perfect for taking a break. It was quite busy, which is naturally to be expected in such a central spot, but my order was still processed reasonably quickly and efficiently via the self-service kiosks. I went for a classic Whopper with fries and a drink. The burger was nice and hot, had that recognizable grilled flavor, and the fries were thankfully nice and crispy and fresh. Despite the constant stream of people, the staff did their best to keep the restaurant tidy and clear the tables on time. It is fast food, of course, but if you just fancy a quick, hearty, familiar burger without too much fuss while shopping, this is absolutely the place to be. Great, fast service, the quality you expect, and a perfect location in the city center! 🍔🍟

Classic Burger King, little to complain about. The only thing is that in the evening/night the atmosphere on the upper floor can get grim; the image can be interpreted for yourself 😉 The staff are surprisingly nice (expectations are often low at these kinds of places, but at this branch the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves somewhat, so nothing to complain about) The card reader didn't work for contactless; I don't know if that happens often but it might need to be looked into. -> update: contactless only doesn't work at the middle ordering kiosk, the others do!

I'm giving three stars because the cashier Mohammed (Muhammed, mohamad??? I have no idea) handed me my food and the burger was good. Unfortunately, the staff don't seem to care about hygiene anymore and hand out the so-called "reusable cups" unwashed. After a few sips of my Sprite, my lips felt sticky and I saw lipstick on the rim... I hope I don't get a cold sore tomorrow. The ambiance is standard.

I always choose BK over KFC (across the street) and MC (150 meters down the road). Mainly because I genuinely think the quality is better. I think that's because it's made-to-order. As a result, it's always fresh and full of flavor. However, at this fortress, there were stacks of burgers that were already ready. Because of this, the order was quick, but it wasn't super busy, so it tasted like the burger had been sitting there for a while. The fries were fresh, though, and the staff very friendly. There was also plenty of seating. So, unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed.

The interior could be a bit more modern, and it would be nice if you could just use the toilet for free when you eat there.

I happened to come to this restaurant twice today. And coincidentally, I was snapped at twice by a lady named Estavet who is behind the counter. If you don't like customers, you shouldn't work here, young lady. Too bad..

Not really accessible for putting food in if you have a stroller; there is really only one spot in front because they don't have a lift going up.

The attitude of a lady with noticeably plumped lips behind the counter is very unwelcoming. It might sound strange for a fast-food joint, but a smile or a friendly greeting makes all the difference. My order consisted of a box of nuggets and a few burgers. I was standing right next to her, so I could see that she tossed the burgers haphazardly into the paper bag and the box on top. The top of the bag was not rolled shut. She called out my number in a bored tone, practically threw the open bag onto the counter, and sauntered away. No checking if I had the right number, no "enjoy your meal," and no "goodbye." I repacked my order of dented and upside-down burgers and box of nuggets outside. She had forgotten the sauce, but I didn't feel like going back, even though I was still standing at the door. If you don't want to work, just stay home and spare yourself and your customers your attitude.

Best option for a "safe bet" when it comes to burguers in the centre, better than similar options when it comes to price/Quality. Great burgers and combos for a reasonable price. Upstairs seating area has a nice view and it's quiet most of the time. Located right in the centre of the city in a dense commercial and touristic área, a few 100s metres away from the central station and surrounded by historic buildings and attractions. Public transport from all sides of the city also meets in this corner. Fast and efficient service.

Very arrogant and unfriendly staff. We also received the wrong drinks; after pointing this out in a friendly manner, I ended up in a whole argument. Eventually, it could be resolved for this one time (apparently it was my fault they couldn't provide the right drink😐). The deposit machine was also broken, and since I was required to have a deposit cup for everything (the ice creams and drinks), the costs ran high. Upon returning the cups, we were treated very unkindly and snapped at again. I advise everyone not to come here! It is better to walk a little further to another eatery.

At Kingsday, my friend (a woman) was visiting the toiled an had to pay 2 EUR in cash. She did, went to the toilet and while being at the toilet, the staff told het it took too long and pulled the door open. We were there for almost 30 min and found out this was a regular thing in this Burger King. Very weird and privacy-lacking behavior. Worst Burger King I have ever been. Apart from that, they forgot my frites sauce and when I asked the employee to still acquire it, she did not even look at me.

I am really very disappointed with my order. I ordered no less than €22 worth of ice cream, including Twix popsicles, and what do I get? Not even the right product! On top of that, I received the wrong drink. This is just sloppy and totally not what you expect when you pay for your order. So, I paid for something I didn't even receive. That is simply unacceptable. Check your orders better before they leave the premises, because this only causes frustration for customers. It is a real shame; you don't expect this from such a large chain.

This Burger King is very different from the ones we know in France: the building is really old, the booths are dilapidated, and the restaurant isn't very clean. The menu selection is very limited, with few meal deals or burgers available. Furthermore, there are extra charges for everything that's usually free in France: ketchup or mayonnaise, for example, cost €0.70. I find it outrageous to offer meal deals where everything is an extra charge when these are, in principle, free services.

First thing: What's with all the negative reviews about this BK? I see you here at least three times a day, so keep your mouth shut and eat. Second thing: Anyone with a bit of DH City savvy knows that BK Spui is busier than BK DH-CS, so the food is made more frequently, so it's fresher, get it? Third thing: Jesus, what a difference compared to McDonald's. Look at what you get: lots of toppings, a super thick burger, and here's a menu for 11 euros, which rocks. I can't believe your newbie azz makes your bun fall apart. You have to use your burger wrap as a burger diaper to keep it all together. If you haven't mastered that yet, you need to visit BK Spui many more times to practice. It's a bit gross upstairs sometimes, but sometimes it's not. So no more negative reviews about the speck crackers I always see here, get it?

These days, there's a security guard (a tall, tanned man) who's mainly occupied with nitpicking. I've never encountered such a restless security guard; instead of making me feel safe, he gets on my nerves and those of other customers. He's constantly pacing back and forth, clearly bothering the wrong people for no reason, and distracting staff from their work, causing me to have to wait longer to be helped and get my food. While I was waiting, he suddenly came up to me and rudely demanded that I remove my hood, as if I were a dog. Interestingly, he only did this after I'd been standing quietly in line for several minutes and he'd walked past me several times. Only when he saw my face—I have darker skin—did he decide to speak to me. I was just standing there, alone and calm, without doing anything that even remotely provoked his behavior. Of course, I had my hood up; it's 3 degrees outside, and I'm just grabbing a burger and then leaving immediately. This is ridiculous, isn't it? I understand saying this to a group of boisterous teenagers, but treating a grown man this way is completely unnecessary and anything but professional. I ended up leaving because the gentleman couldn't engage in a normal conversation with me. That's no problem for me, because I simply went to another restaurant. There's plenty of choice, and none of those restaurants have security. And sure enough, you guessed it, on my way out, I saw another gentleman in a hoodie being left alone. This gentleman is really ruining the atmosphere for me, and I won't be seen here again.

Just went for a Hot Blondie during my work break. Completely empty, no other orders. I open my dessert at work and it's a Hot Brownie... Such a shame... so check your order before you leave!

Terrible and poorly prepared food. At a quiet moment around 4:00 PM, there were already 20+ portions of fries in the warming tray. The fries were limp, tough, and lukewarm. The burger was smashed together, tasted good, but a lot fell out when I opened it, and the entire inside of the paper was covered in sauce. I could only choose a returnable cup, which only one person at the cash register could return. They also take orders and prepare drinks for every order. If you're the fourth in line, you could wait 8 minutes for your deposit. What a terrible system. The tables weren't clean. Because of that, Burger King.

Got cold Whoppers and the personel tried to go in discussion with us over the warmth of the burgers. They weren’t edible, customer service is not a high standard here, unlike the Burger King on The Hague CS which are good at doing their job and are customer friendly!

A couple of times a month, instead of dinner, we go to Burger King. I don't know how they do it, but the patty is much tastier than other places, and overall, the burgers are quite tasty. The fries are always fresh and not overly salty. The service is fast, no matter the city. I recommend it.

Advice, wear gloves while preparing food

Several waiters with Asian appearance had very bad attitudes.

They don't return money for multiple cups if you don't have the corresponding receipt. Instead ask you where you have them from , if you're alone at the counter. Money back for one cup only. They even suggest you throw the other reusable, clearly identifiable as BK cups, in the bin! That way they sell plastic containers for 1 EUR, to increase their profit. Not to mention the ridiculously small portions of fries and sauces, that in any other decent restaurant are free of charge.

This is a top-notch BK! The food is always ready super fast, and the staff is friendly! A unique situation in this industry… 🙂

It's tasty but watch your health.

Ugh, that was bad. Not a pleasant atmosphere...I can't describe it any better. It felt uncomfortable, also because of the troublemaking guests and loitering youths.

I wanted a small snack and a drink. So I ordered a King's menu. When returning my cup, I had to go to the cash register because there wasn't a vending machine. Not a problem at all. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to return one cup, and then they made it difficult to give me the money because I'd thrown the receipt in the trash. It wasn't busy, but it was clear the staff didn't care that more than five people were waiting to return their cups.

i make an online order and after 30 minutes arrived there but order wasn't ready yet. finally after 55 minutes i picked it up. bad experience.

I've tried BK in many countries, and I must say this is one of the best. I've been a vegetarian for years, and the vegetarian option at this BK is tremendous. 💯 Highly recommended.

It says it's open until 2:00 (I was there between 1:15 and 1:30), but it was closed. Adjust the hours; I came for nothing.

What an attitude from the lady at the checkout today! I went to return my deposit cups, saw other cups on the way, and thought, "Take those." I didn't get a refund, and the response I got was, "Yeah, but you didn't buy those." Firstly, if this could have been said politely, I would have understood. Secondly, with such a person at the counter, the service is nonexistent. She drives customers away.

It's kept very clean, and the view from the upstairs windows is nice. Unfortunately, we didn't get a 5-euro refund for the 5 cups we returned.

The order was supposed to take 25 to 45 minutes, but it took 105 minutes. Everything was cold except the dessert. I had to pay a 15-cent deposit, but the bottle went straight into the recycling bin. If you call to ask about it, you get a rude mouth from the man hiding behind the phone (hero). They're a bunch of scammers, pathetic little pieces of trash.

Maybe the staff is in training but is very clueless, giving you an incomplete order and the wrong drink.

Ordered via home delivery at 17:15 and it was delivered at 18:20 completely cold, we had to call the branch to report this but that line was busy for an hour and a half, probably all complaints. So I will not order here anymore!

I tried to help a friend in need by getting her comfort meal that she has been craving for 2 months, yet the order was completely wrong and missing half of the items. They ruined her day and in fact made her feel even worse. Double check your orders bc it wasn’t even busy for them to mix it up so much??!

Service was not normal bad. I was eating upstairs after which I went to the toilet and my food was apparently thrown away. I came back and told this story to them after which they did not give my money back and did not give me a new order. What a bad burger king. What a bad service. Never again. I went there and when i came in they were already screaming to costumers and it wasnt only employees that screamed but also managers. I got one milkshake but even that was the most gross milkshake i had. I recommend an other place and dont go to this place unless you want to have a bad experience.

Very bad customer experience. Had a drink with family and I went to return the cups. After waiting 10 minutes, no it wasn't very busy but the only person at the cash register was also the one who had to tap all the drinks ordered at the columns and that apparently had priority, I give our cups to him but he doesn't want to give the deposit back because I don't have a receipt with me. No, we cleaned that up neatly together with the other waste of course. There is no mention on the screen when ordering that you have to keep your receipt because otherwise you won't get your paid deposit back. We call that theft Burger King!

Ok burger king, How difficult is it. To go through a list. Check that all items are included. I waited 1h34min. For an incomplete order. And the food that was there. Is stone cold and soft. Let's not talk about how you pack the order. Bottles of drinks thrown on the food. Everything was out. And if you give the order to Uber/home delivery. You should seal the bag closed with tape and/or stickers. Never again this branch.
