McDonald's Scheveningen Kurhausweg in Wijk 02 Belgisch Park

Place was not really clean. Staff seemed overwhelmed and not really on the ball. Fries were all soggy and dumped in the bag (takeaway) with 1/3 of the fries already out of their containers. Drinks had 80% ice!!! And no napkins placed in the bag. 😢

There's a woman behind the counter who's also making the food. She's either Ukrainian or Russian and doesn't speak Dutch. She started talking to me and the other customers in a very smart way. Is this normal? She really needs to be fired, or this McDonald's is only going to get worse. Do something about this!

Always ok when things have to be done quickly

Very bad attention from the work staff. When you ask for help for something, they answer in a bad way and do not provide you with attention.

A 100-meter walk from the boulevard, which is always crowded and has no space. This one is definitely one of the better ones.

We ordered on the screen and I had 900 points for a free Mcrispy and ordered a vanilla milkshake. Turns out the order didn’t go through after waiting 20 minutes for the good. So we asked for it and she said they didn’t have the order. The person behind the cashier was very nice but she went to ask the manager about the free Mcrispy but she just said they couldn’t give me a free one even though I had proof of the 900 points were used. Very disappointed.

No McDonald's. Just a heads up. It's not open 24/7. Check the late hours.

The food was okay, but paying 50 cents for a toilet visit is strange if you already paid enough for the food.

I don't even know where to start. 1. This is the first time I've seen a paid toilet at McDonald's, even for customers. Although if you look to the left of the place where they collect money, you can see the free toilets of the neighboring movie theater right behind the door. 2. A very strange ordering system. You type in your order in the machine and before paying, you have to enter the number of the table where you'll eat. How am I supposed to know what the number of that table I like is? As a result, in the middle of the ordering process, you go to the table, look at its number, go back to the terminal, enter the number, pay for the order. You sit down at the table, and only then realize that the air conditioner is blowing here, it's cold. 3. Okay, the waiter brings the order here, but I ordered tea among other things, and only got boiling water. I went and asked at the counter what to do - and it turns out that I can get any tea right here at the cash register. The question is - why then distribute orders around the room if I still have to go and get tea? 4. All plastic cups. Come on! They've been cardboard everywhere for a long time! How much garbage is generated here? 5. The sauce is served in plastic bags (I probably look like an astronaut), which you have to tear open and, apparently, pour the contents directly into your mouth, because there are simply no basic tubs here, in which the sauce is always served. In my opinion, there are obvious points that need to be corrected here.

Food was fine, but they won’t give you a straw anymore for your drink. And most employees were just lazing around.

The dine-in order took a long time, and my food wasn't put on a tray because, "We're closing soon and we're cleaning." There weren't even napkins in the takeaway bag. An hour and a half before closing time.

Order was never made for my Uber eats order and they never picked up the phone. Got charged and hungry without food delivered after closing midnight. Worse customer service you can do.

We arrived 40 minutes before closing time / 11:40 / and they already indicated that they were closed. I stood in front of the door and the staff was laughing at me…… I understand that you want to go home early but I think you are open until 12 if you are open until 12….

Dear people please beware of this McDonald's establishment! I placed an order here at an order terminal without the product being available. After a heated exchange of words the manager insulted and discriminated against me. A report has been filed for this. Their service is not only bad, they are also racist. A report is being processed. Unacceptable behavior. Hooligan behavior from McDonald's... Never expected. But unfortunately it happened. I demand my money and an apology because this is unacceptable. It's sad that you have to pay for the toilet here. Although you can get overpriced fast food here for expensive money, a 4 1/2 year old is not allowed to go to the toilet because he has to pay money. I don't give a shit about €0.50 (competition KFC with €1 is no better) but it's about the principle. As the owner of a global chain, you should ask yourself where service begins and ends. Soon you will be charged €1 to get the forgotten napkins, which is sad. I would prefer to let my child go to the corner. I didn't expect you to be really angry. Even the menus are offered cheaply so you then have to pay extra for the sauce. From a psychological point of view that's just stupid, offer it with a choice of sauce and offer it ready for that price and not that you don't have to order it extra.

Very long waiting times, then the food was swapped and was very cold and inedible. The staff were unfriendly and I was thrown out 15 minutes before the end.

Simply the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I have been here before, but after several bad experiences this was the last time. You often wait a very long time here even though it is not very busy. My order has been taken off the screen twice and forgotten. After asking the non-Dutch speaking staff 3 times, I received my order after 40 minutes. And 3 guesses! There was a dirty black hair in my burger and the fries were cold. I went back with my burger and was told that the hair couldn't have come from them because they were said to be wearing 'hair nets'. Yet I saw several employees walking around without them. Besides, my hair is black and I'm blonde... After a lot of discussion I got a new hamburger and it was not a double but a single big tasty. So I went back again and then I got yelled at when none of the above is my fault. Finally got the right burger and it was fine. It's just a shame that it had to turn out this way.

It was a quiet evening and I only ordered a latte macchiato and ice cream. People who came much later after me had already received their orders. After waiting 25 minutes (!!!) I grabbed my own coffee, I didn't have time for ice cream anymore, drama!

"Just quickly get a simple soft ice cream" we thought at 8am. Ordered at the machine. 2 men, 2 women in the kitchen who were 'order picking' as if they had taken a muscle relaxant. It took 15 minutes before we got our soft ice creams. We received the main course faster in the busy restaurant in front of it. Because we expected to receive our ice cream quickly, we waited at the counter. The air smelled strongly of old cooking grease. You could barely see any smoke, but enough that you could still smell it in our clothes at home. The youngest clerk carefully walked each order to the tables where people were patiently waiting for their orders with number plates. And just as cautiously he walked back. The staff is friendly to the customer at the moment of eye contact. Only that was hardly the case, so we witnessed a robotic scene with flexible but slow employees who did not speak or laugh with each other or show interaction. If you are in a hurry for the movie, this is not the smoothest and freshest-smelling fast-good store.

I actually ordered a mint tea with a triple chocolate cookie with my-order. After about 3 minutes an employee brought the cookie and asked what we wanted instead of the mint tea (it had run out). I chose a latte macchiato and it is very tasty👍 The cookie, on the other hand, tastes a bit gluten-free. The service is top and fast, and the restaurant is neat.

Things went well for a short time after the major renovation, lately when we come, dirty tables, ground sticks under your feet. Last time I used a cloth to wipe the table clean. Because it really wasn't possible. This McDonald's is the closest for us, but there are better locations. Such as: Zichtenburg, Ypenburg along the highway and Sassenheim. Perhaps they can learn something about hygiene at this location.

Went here for dinner with my mother. Wasn't busy but took a very long time to get our order. Employees left the burgers on the trays instead of the OAT and our burger was very dry and lukewarm. We had ordered fries and the employee took a fries (which were already there when we arrived) and the quality timer was no longer on and you could taste that. Went back with the fries, this was resolved well and we received fresh fries. Furthermore, the restaurant was not clean and the trash cans were overflowing. I would not recommend this McDonalds.

Been here 2 years ago. We had to wait at least 45 minutes before we got our food. We thought we would quickly go to the Mac for a performance in the circus theater. Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat everything. Had to throw away more than half. Filed a complaint, but never received a response. I will NEVER go here again!

Great restaurant, it remains a MacDonalds. People below the reviews should not pretend it is a 5 star restaurant. Especially when it is busy after a theater performance. Of course you have to wait a long time for your food. Friendly employees and good food.

The Mac next to Pathé Scheveningen is a lot quieter than the one on the boulevard. If you want to eat quickly, it is better to order your food here via the vending machines. Highly recommended. You have to pay to go to the toilet, but if you go through the sliding door next to the toilet, you are in the Pathé and you can use the toilets for free.

McDonalds is becoming increasingly sparse. €4.05 for a McFlurry in a container that is only half full. Always tasty, but very expensive for what you get.

Two things were missing from our order (patty for the salad, fries sauce). When i went back to get them, i was met with distrust rather than an apology. They also gave the wrong happy meal toys. On top of that, the atmosphere was unpleasant with negative people all around us. There's lots of tourist traps in Scheveningen, but next time I'd pick those over this place. We had fun despite the setting, not thanks to it.

What a bad thing this is! Tables are not cleared or cleaned, rubbish bins are overflowing, toilets are locked. The food is placed on the counter and you have to figure out which one is yours, the staff doesn't say anything. This was the last time.

When we were there, the staff was very friendly. It was about 4 or 5 years ago, unfortunately the names of at least 2 employees have been forgotten. Still a big compliment 👍🏻👍🏻

There is no way to return a plastic cup for a euro... Although it is written on the poppy website. Why do different poppies suddenly have different rules? They are one network! Oh my God! Moreover, the toilet is paid, despite the purchased food!

Some years (about 2) back, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and lively. The quality of the food is perfect and the service is simply excellent. On our last visit there was an atmosphere that you thought you were at a funeral. The service (?) was completely non-existent. The staff was busy with their "own" thing and no longer paid attention to the guests present. At the cash register people looked at you, where are you from and what are you doing here and the tables and floor were barely cleaned. Finally, the food, even though the food was prepared while waiting, the temperature was lukewarm and I had the feeling that it had not been cooked. My partner and I felt like we were in some third-rate diner that had barely heard of the Food and Drug Act. Finally, I would like to say that the price of the food offered is so high that you could almost say that the restaurant has a Michelin star. Really: a complete letdown and NOT recommended
