Food Company "De Griek" in Binnenstad-Noord

It's a takeaway place, don't expect chill vibes and Greek memorabilia. Come for the food. It's really good.

Ordered food from this company, but after 2 hours still nothing. Called and they said it was on its way. After another 45 minutes, I tried calling several times, but only voicemail. What a very bad company. Would stay far away from here

Ordered via their own website (it said they were open, this also said home delivery), but when there was no food after 2 hours, I cycled by. The business turned out to be closed and they cannot be reached in any way. So scammers, don't order here!

OMG what a special experience this was! Not in a positive sense. Our jaws are trained, what tough meat! We ordered a salad for €6.50 see photo what we got hahaha a salad that came in a container in which we also got the sauce for €6.50 and no olive to be found in this Greek salad hahaha. I hope we can keep it inside and that it isn't spoiled food because I have my doubts. Fingers crossed with us!

Just ordered pitas - 1 Feta pita and 1 kip pita - for delivery. Didn't know what to expect. But WOW! The food is AMAZING! AMAZING!

Not to be eaten. I don't know what they do with that meat here, but it looks like rubber. Unclear menu, no atmosphere, no customer-friendly staff. The "cook", if you can call it that, was having a shouting match with some vague woman who came out of nowhere My food was put on the counter without saying anything. I had to guess for myself that it was mine. They should be ashamed of what they try to sell here as food.

Horrible food! This has nothing to do with real Greek food. The meat was unchewable, smelly and tasteless. I ended up throwing it away because it was just inedible - a real waste of money! Also, the inside was very dirty. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. You can change this if you want!

Order didn't even arrive, I even drove there but apparently the store was already closed? It's strange that you can order it via home delivery, but the store is closed

Order placed via Thuisbezorgd, after waiting 40 to 50 minutes the order arrived, for me this was certainly the last time to get something here, after opening the pita bread foil I smelled an odor and it was even worse than my great father who had been lying in the hallway for a month, even my mother-in-law's poppies started to hang crooked, the gyros can be compared to the intestines of a Greek Orthodox pastor who has not washed their holes for a month. My advice is to make sure you give the EOD a tip in advance.

I can't rate the food because it never came. 7:30 PM Ordered. Called after the time had elapsed, but the restaurant was unreachable and it remained that way for the rest of the evening. Finally filed a complaint via Uber Eats at 11:00 PM. Neatly handled by Uber Eats. No more De Griek Food Company for us.

WHAT A BALL TENT!!!! Dinner would take no more than an hour We have been waiting for 2.5 hours and receive a phone call that it will take 'a little' longer and that on a Wednesday evening!!

I ordered food at 5:45 PM and it would be delivered between 6:30 PM & 6:50 PM and 7:15 PM I tried to call but no answer. And after reading the reviews here I thought it probably wouldn't happen again. Then I ordered something somewhere else and it didn't arrive until 7:50 PM. I didn't accept it. And 10 minutes later the other order from Mr Giros arrived. And it comes from Leiderdorp to SW faster than you from Haarlemmerstraat

Excellent food, and more than enough.

Had food here for the 2nd time now. First time a chicken dish and the second time a mix grill. 2 delicious meals. The place to be for Greek food. Nice owner too. Hard worker.

Ordered and never got my food! Order and pay via home delivery. Received confirmation and 2.5 hours later nothing. Number via home delivery does not work. They don't answer numbers here! Feels like a scam. Never but never again!!!!!!!!!

Tasty and fresh pita! Chicken fillet was tender, lots of garlic in the tzatziki. Nice conversation with the owner.

Het is echt een gezellige winkel met een lekker eten, ik bestel hier heel vaak. Ze bezorgen snel en ook nog lekker warm. En bij afhalen is het ook altijd snel klaar. Het is echt een aarden!!!

5/5 My γιαγιά would approve. Finally - A good place for authentic greek food. Tried their gyros, bifteki and souvlaki - all cooked superbly. Just hoping that they will start serving mousaka eventually. When it comes to Greek food in Leiden, this is the only place I would recommend. Most likely they will become quite big, I just hope they never compromise on the quality of their dishes as they grow.

Bestelling was niet volledig en het restaurant is onbereikbaar. Nemen de telefoon niet op. Eten dat wel bezorgd werd was goed, maar nogmaals incompleet. Dit restaurant is, onbereikbaar, onbetrouwbaar en dus een afrader.

Vandaag voor het eerst hier besteld maar wat is dit lekker zeg! Gyros waarbij er tenminste wat vet aan het vlees zit en goed sappig! Gekruide patat ook heerlijk en zelf een toetje bij de schotel!

Goed gegeten. Varkenshaas was perfect gebakken, zie je niet vaak en zeker niet 's nachts om 4 uur.

Het eten was zeer laat en de website is afgesloten. Alle telefoonnummers van deze tent waren afgesloten en er was geen manier om in contact te komen. Alleen door thuisbezorgd te bellen kwamen we er uiteindelijk achter dat ze "net vertrokken waren". Toen het eten er eenmaal was, waren alle sauzen open gegaan en gaan lekken. Het eten was okay, niet slecht. Maar de manier waarop alles geregeld en vervoerd is kan echt niet.

Ik hou van dit soort plekken. Klein en niet echt iets waar je kan zitten en eten. Maar lekker...... Deze plek krijg alle 5 sterren vanwegen de qualiteit van het eten.
