Fantastic place to dine. The food was top-notch, but the host and waiters made the difference. Despite all the tables being full, everyone received attention and felt welcome.

Always delicious here and the staff are friendly. It can be a bit drafty at times when people linger at the door, but that's manageable.

I wish there was a Greek food restaurant this outstanding back home! Trust Pavlos and the staff for warmth & outstanding dining. This time we enjoyed all the appetizers & artisanal Baklava ice cream. Hard to pick a favorite dish because they were each fabulous. Everything beautifully presented as art rich with colors. Pavlos paired the wine wonderfully with the food. Seated at the front window table, we saw passerby's longingly look at our dishes. Whenever I am in The Netherlands, I make certain to dine at Rodos.

Food is so amazing here; we never know what to choose because it all seems great. Both of my experiences here were that I left with a very very satisfied stomach and experience. The staff is really friendly and just... the vibe of Rodos makes you feel like you are on holiday. Prices are a bit expensive but it's worth it if you want to treat yourself. Highly recommend!

Charming restaurant in the center of Leiden. A bit noisy though, as the tables aren't far apart. I found it a bit too dark inside. The staff was friendly, but communication wasn't always great. The food was good quality. The starters were delicious, and the meat for the main course was wonderfully tender. The dessert, the baklava, was sweet but very tasty! We had a lovely evening!

2 nights ago we went for dinner at Rodos restaurant. What a gem! Food, service, atmosphere were excellent so 6 stars from us. We had a variety of dishes fresh, homemade, tasteful and well presented. We will definitely visit soon and thank you for your warm hospitality!

You're not welcome between 3 and 5, not even for a drink. It's not clearly stated anywhere, and it's not communicated politely at all. The man likes to get into (unwanted) arguments with you. What a shame!

The food was nothing special and very salty, with only one cube of feta in the Greek salad. Apparently, for authentic Greek cuisine, you really have to go to Greece.

Prices are deceptive. You pay €45 per person for the mezedes, which ultimately only contained a few bites of meat. The quantity was extremely disappointing.

asked for a table for one, very rudely got told that they don’t have anything of the sort…. there were plenty of free tables but i guess the owner decided i wasn’t worthy enough to eat at his “restaurant” :/ if you actually want some quick good smelling and tasting greek food, i’d personally recommend Katelios. it’s nearby and the owner actually cares about his customers!

We ordered the special menu of €45 per person and got a couple of small dishes. I was expecting a main course but they already wanted to give us the menu to order desert. Very disappointing, and I will never go back.

Delicious food, small menu but highly recommended

We visited Rodos Good Taste Restaurant hoping for a nice dinner but unfortunately, we had to leave before even placing an order. One of the waiters was rude, cynical, and completely disrespectful from the moment we arrived. In Greece, we’ve always had warm and welcoming experiences at restaurants, but here was the opposite. The staff member’s attitude made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Hospitality matters – and sadly, it was completely missing here.

Really good fish, great service and atmosphere. Their mint infused ouzo is amazing as well.

Das Restaurant war unter der Woche nicht stark besucht. Der Service aber sehr freundlich und nett. Man kann sich in verschiedenen Sprachen unterhalten. Die Weine sind alle aus Griechenland und sehr gut. Die Speisekarte für einen Griechen sehr übersichtlich, hat aber trotzdem alles was man dort isst. Pulpo als Vorspeise mit dem passendem Weisswein, Ein Gedicht. Lamm und Huhn als Hauptgang, ebenfalls zum Geniessen. Dazu der passende Rotwein Und natürlich ein Dessert. Danach gab es noch einen Uso aufs Haus. Vielen Dank es war ein super gemütlicher Abend.

Greek service and atmosphere, friendly people. The food was good and the terrasse on the canal lovely. I would recommend you to have reservation if you want to have diner after 7pm, especially the terrasse.

Went here with a friend for lunch and had such a great experience. We were in the mood for good comfort food, and Rodos Good Taste delivered exactly that. We initially asked to move to a different table for a bit more shade, and the staff handled it immediately and kindly, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and what stood out was how attentive the team was. Whenever we needed something, they noticed and responded right away. It’s a lovely place to relax, eat well, and feel genuinely welcomed. We’ll definitely be coming back!

As a greek that lives in the Netherlands, I've been to a good amount of restaurants looking for decent greek taste, and I've never tasted anything like it. And I swear it tastes even better than some greek restaurants in Greece. Such great quality of ingredients and so nicely made. We will definitely visit again and recommend anyone to visit there.

Nice food, place is a bit loud if it’s busy. Everything’s homemade but I found staff to be a bit terse.

This restaurant is wonderful. Service: second to none. Venue: perfect - we began the meal on the canal at sunset (starters and drinks), then continued with our main meals inside the restaurant. Food: portions generous, great quality, very tasty, and certainly with the ‘home made’ vibe. Thank you to the Owner and his great team.

Niet echt een gezellig restaurant. Modern en weinig Grieks. De kaart vermeldt wel Griekse gerechten, maar alleen de saus had bij ons een Grieks tintje. De inktvisringen konden net zo goed Zeeuws, Leids of Duits zijn. Hetzelfde geldt voor de gegrilde kipfilet; gewoon kip dus met een sausje. De gerechten stonden vrij snel achter elkaar op tafel, waardoor we het idee kregen dat de tafel weer snel vrij moest zijn. Tempo eten dus. Maar de gerechten waren van goede kwaliteit, dat wel.

We had a great experience together with friends. We had the classics from the menu and it was as good as always. Pavlos and his team is giving superb service. We are coming back every time we are in Leiden.

The restaurant is in a great location. The service is very bad. Drinks (2 glasses of wine) after more than half an hour. The food was brought backwards. Waiting again…..🤨🧐 Price performance far too expensive.

The food was OK, nothing special for the price. I would say that the prices were disproportionate for what we got. We were expecting more honestly. We waited more than an hour for the food, they didn't apologize whatsoever. On the other hand, their attitude was terrible, they did not greet us goodbye and overall they were acting really arrogant towards us. I would not recommend this place, really overrated!

First class in every respect. The hosting, the service and especially the food was all outstanding. The starters were excellent, calamari was perfectly cooked and the saganaki was delicious. Lamb rack was cooked perfectly and very high quality. Baklava was exceptional. Thanks for a great evening.

We visited Rodos a week ago and honestly, we never had a more pleasant meal. Absolutely love this place! The restaurant offers a perfect blend of Greek taste and ambiance. The service was outstanding. Giorgos and the owner Pavlos were very helpful and recommended some outstanding dishes for us. Definitely 5 out of 5!! p.s must try the greek baklava ice cream!!

Very nice and romantic atmosphere. The waiters were very attentive and kind. Foodwise it was very delicious and worth the price, which is by the way totally ok for the portions and quality. Highly recommend if you want to go for a great greek restaurant. Btw there is beer from a microbrew from Euboea with a great and fruity IPA

The food was OK, but at 43 euro, the mezedes were really expensive for what it was. Small portions for a bigger price. A pity.

Real Greek food, with real Greek service. From the moment you enter until you leave, you are in Greece for a while. The food was delicious and the service was very good. One of the few Greek restaurants in the Netherlands that really feels Greek.

Delicious food! I had the Souvlaki-Bifteki and my friend had lamb. Very tender, very tasty. Nice atmosphere with very friendly people. And learned some new Greek words :-)

Rodos is not some Greek restaurant Holland is used to like the regular “vreetschuur” where you can eat kilos of too salty meat. Here you get a nice plate with a nice variety the Greek cuisine has to offer. Also a good bunch of vegetarian dishes to choose from. I had a vegetarian dish: orzo with lots of herbs and grilled halloumi, which was nice, savory and creamy. My companion chose the fish of the day, which was grilled cod. It was well prepared and juicy! 👌 Staff is friendly and alert, always checking whether you are still content without being pushy. You might need reservations especially in the weekends.

After a somewhat bad experience last summer, the owner offered us to come and have dinner to put things right. This certainly happened and the food tasted delicious. Had no further complaints, so grateful for this and will definitely come back

Komen er al bijna 20 jaar. Hebben er ons trouwfeest er gegeven 18 jaar geleden en afgelopen zondag ook weer een borrel voor mijn verjaardag. Heerlijk eten en geweldige service. Het voelt echt als thuiskomen en de sfeer is heel fijn, relaxt en aangenaam.

Been coming for almost 20 years. We had our wedding party there 18 years ago and had drinks for my birthday last Sunday. Delicious food and great service. It really feels like coming home and the atmosphere is very nice, relaxed and pleasant.

Highly recommended if you want real Greek food in a cozy atmosphere with delicious Greek music in a beautiful location on the Leiden canal with a terrace on the water in the summer to get into the summer atmosphere. Décor parfait, beaux materiaux, un air de Grèce sans jouer sur les clichés qu'on trouve souvent à l'étranger Ici de la salle à la cuisine on parle grec et l'accueil est impéccable ... et côté carte, menu et cuisine c'est vraiment bon, généreux et bien présenté dans l'assiette. Alors que dire de plus que ce restaurant est douillet et sympathique. Ce soir là il y avait une grande tablée de plus d'une vingtaine de Grecs fêtant un évènement et pourtant on s'entendait en salle qui doit être assez bien insonorisée !

Was there for the second time. Food is good, but a bit too expensive. Service was subpar. Grumpy at first because we wanted to share starters. Then the waiter got upset because one of our colleagues (Greek) spoke English to him (he has lived in NY for decades, we were international, we speak English in the group so that we can understand each other, it's collegial!) and threw him out ! We all left. I didn't expect such over-the-top nationalism. Was shameful!
