I order from here at least twice a month (favorite guilty pleasure). Delivery is fast and reliable. The chicken is sooo juicy and flavorful! The Franggo rice is a must-try. Only note: I wished that the Piri Piri was spicy.

Very good Portuguese chicken, with traditional sides. Charcoal grilled so they do it right. The Piri Piri sauce is not the best I've had, but this place will do in a pinch. You order at the checkout counter and they bring it to you. Not a budget place, prepare to spent 20 Euros plus per person. Nice staff.

Very good chicken, similar style to Nando’s, only improvement is to make the peri peri actually spicy, still good flavour though.

Great restaurant !! They serve grilled & seasonned chicken or half chicken with fries, rice or other sides. The five of us all destroyed the plate and left nothing but the bones. The pastel de nata was amazing and fresh off the oven as well !! Service was adequent and prices were reasonnable (might be a bit tiny high, 18e for half a chicken with fries but worth it !!) Would definitely recommend coming here again

I ordered a half chicken, but it was served as two quarters. The fries were cold, and I ordered mayonnaise, but I didn't get it.

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd, the food was great! Part of the order was missing, but that was resolved within ten minutes. Excellent customer service. The chicken was very good, and the Coxinha de Franggo is also highly recommended.

I always order the chicken and rice here, and it was, as always, excellent! This time I also tried the Coxinha, and it was also delicious 🫶🏼

Being a Portuguese myself I miss a lot our food, and lived in the Algarve whole my life,im well familiar with our Grilled chicken, I was not disappointed and for the first time in the Netherlands i could experience some real tradicional flavours! Nice service and pleasant environment! If the chicken was a bit smaller it would be perfect! But really nice and im coming back for sure. Obrigado :)

I’m very happy I found this place! The food is good(the grilled chicken is the best I’ve tried in Amsterdam), the prices are decent for Amsterdam and the atmosphere is also good as it is spacious and looks clean.

Loved the casual and relaxed dining atmosphere at Franggo West. The food arrived fresh and hot and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend getting the corn on the cob as a side for the chicken as it rounded out the whole meal. Friendly staff as well, will definitely be back

Visited here after arriving in Amsterdam and checking into our hotel - the service was excellent with the staff being helpful and friendly with both recommendations for the food and the city! Overall rating 9.3/10 Juicy flavourful chicken and tasty crispy chips (fries) Would not hesitate to recommend to a friend visiting the city

What a gem! Please please please try this place. The chicken is incredible. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. This drink is so addictive and my new favourite thing. There's only chicken on the menu with a side of either chips, rice, salad or a potato. We had half a chicken each with mixed sauce which is lemon butter and peri Peri. We had the chips are rice and both were incredible. It's plain rice which I wasn't expecting but it was incredibly flavourful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The people working made the experience. A hidden gem. We scored it a 8.7 and a 9.3 💕

Loved it! And my go to - For me the best food quality/price ratio in Amsterdam, and great quick service... Delicious Portugese food! Love the tomato salad also to keep it all fresh. I wish they would have an option to serve with crisps (dry chips) like in Portugal :)

Good chicken almost identical to that of Portugal, the rice impeccable, just a small downside, the fries are not good.. Apart from that, everything was good! The service at the top.

Too bizarre for words! I was excited to try Franggo. I stand in an almost empty restaurant for 8 minutes for a seat at a table. Then I go to take a look in a staff room where more than 4 people are standing around doing nothing, and where an employee who I have to approach for attention tells me that I can order from the colleague at the front what I want served at a table in the restaurant. to have. The same thing happens at the front. Nothing! I.left.

The cooking time is way too long. The food is ok. Employees are nice but it’s like they are on holiday with the lack of rapidity.

Half a chicken, rice/fries was just not enough for a full meal for us 😦 maybe something like a snack or something siuuuu. It's good that there is Sumol and Super Bock 😁🍻

Love the food. Dined in many times. Was pleasantly surprised to see it appear on Thuisbezorgd as a delivery option to our area. Sadly our order never arrived :( The delivery times indicated were not as it is in reality and delivery time changed after the first 45mins lapsed, adding on another 45 or so mins. Tried contacting the restaurant several ways including email, till today no response just a last minute cancelled order without any explanation, leaving us in the lurch rather late in the evening. Still love and recommend the chicken, but would think twice about home delivery orders and advise more transparent waiting times:)

Kitchen closed at 21:43, but Maps said 22:00. Please adjust the closing time. I guess you don’t want to waste people time to reach you to be rejected

Very nice restaurant for Portuguese bbq chicken!

We chose this place because it was highly rated on UberEats. We ordered takeout and got two chicken halves with a side of rice and fries. The chicken was good and tasty but it was small in size, so not a lot of meat. The sauces were too watery (lemon butter and piri piri). The lemon butter tasted weird so we threw it away. The sides were okay, nothing special about them.

We've been wanting to try out this tent for a long time, so now that it's the holidays, we went! It's nothing special, just edible! But maybe I'm unconsciously guided by the fact that I didn't get what I asked for! I ordered half a chicken with piri piri sauce, and got half a chicken with 'butter lemon'! My papillae didn't like acid, so it takes some getting used to eating it. I didn't feel like drama so I let it go! But I wasn't happy. Yes, I would have had to wait even longer for my food while my family was already eating. Nah! But I don't feel satisfied like this!

We had lunch at the restaurant with out 2 year old. Food was amazing, quick, affordable, the staff was friendly and there was space for our kid to run around a bit.

Visited this place to try both the "regular" chicken and the Piri Piri chicken. We enjoyed the first, but the overall dine-in experience felt this establishment is more focused on delivery service.

We ordered a fair amount of food - 2 half chickens, 2 sides, 2 drinks… and yet when I asked for 1 glass of tap water I was told to buy a bottle. This kind of greed makes this my first and last time here. The food is just ok - fries are not seasoned at all. Piri piri sauce was mediocre and not very spicy, Nando’s is better.

One of the best rotisserie chickens I've ever eaten, cooked just right with a light lemon aftertaste; I will definitely try it again.

Lugar simples e aconchegante, muito bom

(Halal) Gezellig, goede service en het eten is zeker aan te raden. De Franggo rijst gecombineerd met het sausje van de kip ( Piri Piri) was heerlijk! Ik zou zeker ook gaan voor de gepofte aardappel, maïskolf en tomatensalade .

Prima eten daar,lekkere tomatensalade en een goeie maiskolf...Had een half kippetje besteld die heerlijk bereid was boven de houtskool grill wat het geheel een zalig gerecht maakte. De Crew is top ..netjes en correct en zeker niet opdringerig. En dan de Pastel de Nata,gruwelijk lekker in combi met hun top espresso...we waren met z'n drietjes en waren er unaniem over eens dat we zeker terug komen. Topzaak!

It was a best choice for a healthy meal. Delicious fried chicken in a sour tasty sauce. I’ve also tried rice which was flavored with garlic and fries that was crispy and delicious. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice and I like how it was decorated. Staff were friendly and polite. The price was reasonable and the food was really worth it. Highly recommend.

Portugees chicken joint, I order a half chicken with rice as a side but wasn’t impressed. The chicken more bone than meat, the rice was just plain. There is better chicken in the neighbourhood.
