Food fine, service not good, many English speakers..

The appetizer was fine. Large portion and varied. The main course left much to be desired. It lacked flavor and wasn't warm. The vegetables were only steamed and not seasoned. The tuna was colorless, tasteless, and cold. A major disappointment. Unfortunately, I developed severe diarrhea an hour after dinner. The price and quality were disproportionate. Not worth repeating.

Extremely slow service, food was fine thought.

The main course took ages to arrive, and I even ended up with food poisoning for dessert. Not recommended.

I thought it was a very pleasant restaurant, and Tom helped me very well. Tom took our order accurately, and we received our drinks and food quickly. Tom was also very customer-friendly and polite, asking if everything was to our liking. A truly excellent employee!

Recently visited Fratelli Delft and received fantastic service. The atmosphere was cozy and the drinks were great! A special shout-out to Tom for his friendly and attentive service. He made us feel welcome right away! A truly wonderful place for drinks and food. We'll definitely be back!

It takes to long to get served we sat there for 25 minutes and no one was coming

I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago, and the service was excellent, courtesy of two young men; top-notch. We went back yesterday, but unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. There was no attention paid to the guests, and everything seemed a bit sloppy. It's a shame, because the food was just as good as last time. Hopefully, the next time it will be as good as the first visit.

July 27, 2025: Enjoyed a delicious spicy pizza (Americana without shrimp, but with tuna). It came with a drink and a nice cup of coffee with a house limoncello! Keep up the good work! If you like pizza, I would definitely recommend this place. Initially, we sat outside, but because of a cold wind, we moved inside.

We ended up at Fratelli through Social Deal for the cocktail and bites package. There were three of us and we sat outside under the awning. It was a lovely spot, and we enjoyed the view of the rest of the Beestenmarkt. The cocktails were a bit strong. It's quite tricky to make a good one, and they really try their best. A little less and in the right proportions is the secret, guys! Still need some practice on that one. My glass had a big crack. I returned it and got a new one. It was resolved well. The amount of bites was more than enough, and the presentation was great. A bit too much fried food, which is a shame for a place like this that serves really tasty snacks. The service was super friendly, funny, and very kind. In short, a great deal for this enjoyable afternoon out. Thanks, guys!

We had made a proper reservation for Thursday evening. It wasn't busy. Just walk to the back, and you'll be taken care of. "Social deal," she asked, "no way." Sit wherever you like. We chose a table where a bottle and glasses from the previous guests were still there. No problem, but after ten minutes we wondered if there would be any service. New guests arrived at a table within sight and were immediately given the menu. I went to ask if anyone else was coming. She was on the phone making a very important call; someone would be there soon. I politely returned to the table, but after 3-4 minutes I'd had enough. We left, and the friendly waiter outside asked how it was. I replied, "We're enjoying ourselves at Moodz now." A warm hostess, a very nice waiter. What a relief, the evening with my wife turned out to be unforgettable.

Last weekend, I had a wonderful meal at Fratelli Delft with a few friends, and it was truly fantastic! The atmosphere was warm from the moment we walked in, and the friendly staff made you feel truly welcome. I ordered the prime rib, and it was perfectly prepared: tender, full of flavor, and perfectly grilled with some delicious vegetables on the side. Highly recommended for meat lovers! My friends were also very pleased with their dishes; everything looked beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. What made this evening truly special was the excellent service. Everyone on the team was friendly and helpful, but I especially want to highlight Parsa. He was incredibly attentive, had an eye for detail, and made sure we wanted for nothing throughout the evening. His hospitality truly made all the difference. We will definitely be back!!

We ate here yesterday with the family, had a great evening. Lovely candles, delicious food, excellent service. All in all, a great place to go!

I've eaten here regularly, but in recent months, the service has been poor (too few staff and not very friendly), orders don't arrive, and the coffee is cold... in other words, I'm not keen on going back, even though the Beestenmarkt is a charming place. I tried again in June 2025, but the pizza was badly burnt. I see the staff are trying really hard and are friendly, but the overall experience is poor, so... nothing has changed since two years ago. This is more a management issue than the staff, because, again, they do their best. If the management would try as hard, it would be a great place to eat Italian food.

I am so sorry to share my experience with this place. After eating at this restaurant I got bacteria and ended up in the hospital. I sent an email to the restaurant but of course I did not get any response. It is just horrible! I warn everyone and wish you good health.

The pasta with seafood had a lot of fish. The pizza napolitana was also well topped. Nice staff that came quickly and was friendly. Highly recommended!

The food was fine and the service friendly. But the music was really too loud, which made us almost hoarse to hear each other. Since 2 of us are also quite sensitive to stimuli, we asked if the music could be turned down a bit. We were kindly responded to, but within a few minutes the music was turned up again. We asked again, same routine. This made the dinner a lot less enjoyable for us. Why does the music have to be so loud anyway?

After a visit to Delft I came across this restaurant. I was welcomed friendly and took my demands into account. They made a nice spot outside for me. Then I ordered a pizza with a cocktail. They politely asked for my ID and work very businesslike. The cocktails are of very good quality and have a very nice price. Definitely recommended if you are near Delft!

Today we had another good experience here. My girlfriend and I regularly come here for dinner and are always very pleased with both the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The service is also good, today (on a Saturday night) we were surprised when our food was served, considering we had just ordered 10 minutes ago. For anyone looking for an Italian restaurant with a good price-quality ratio in the center of Delft, I can recommend Fratelli to everyone.

Food tasted great! Service, with the exception of a few, is terrible, no hello, drinks/food are put down without saying anything, when you thank you you get no answer back. No atmosphere. Keep asking for a knife for the herb butter, drinks. They don't walk there with pleasure. Too bad, they are in a beautiful location.

Food was good, but the price of the wine was seriously €43 for a 75cl Pinot, which makes no sense, while it is indicated online as €21 and the most expensive €28 is a nice scam restaurant.

I had never been to this Fratelli branch before. We had made a reservation, but were allowed to choose our own table. The weather was nice, so we chose the terrace. It was quite a challenge to find a clean table or bench. The tables with chairs were occupied and the rest were covered in pigeon droppings. This could have been cleaned up. The staff is half Dutch and half English speaking. It is not written on their foreheads, but this does make it complicated. You can often repeat yourself in English. They are not all equally cheerful either. You can hardly say enjoy your meal, but it does not feel very sincere. When you get your plate and then have an empty glass in front of you, you have to indicate yourself that you want something to drink. But this has to be ordered from another colleague. In the meantime, he did not realize that there were empty glasses. We were sitting in the middle of the terrace, but at the back there were people who had asked for the menu themselves and where the main course was. You get all this, and it gives a very chaotic feeling. And if you order a new wine glass with your empty glass and then get asked if you are 18+, that is also pretty weird, right? The food was fine, good portions and tasted good. That makes such an evening good.

Absolute lack of respect. We arrived when the terrace was practically empty. We ordered food for everyone. Almost an hour later only one plate arrives. Other tables receive their food (the same one we ordered) and do not have the courage to face their responsibilities. The little one barely went without eating because he was already falling asleep. No respect Those who work use the excuse that they are not the ones who cook, but they are the ones who see the customers and should know what has to come out first.

Good food but filthy and dirty restaurant inside, especially the toilets are filthy and the floor is under water € 19 for a portion of pasta that is consumed in 3 bites and expensive, we will never come here again. Clean toilets in a restaurant are a must, what a disappointment.

What a disgusting tent! Really ripped off... It's like a new place, but half of the wallpaper has been eaten off, probably because the portions are so terribly small. When we wanted to pay, there was a bottle of unappetizing pino gritio wine on our bill for a whopping 50 euros.

Pesto chicken pasta was delicious, scroppino at the table was delicious and that limoncello at the end?? AMAZING Service was fast and relaxed (and delicious) Love this place.

I have rarely seen such a bad restaurant. Uninspired and outrageously bad food with lousy service.

Recently had a drink at Fratelli. We had the Social deal for a drink. First we got Bruschetta on a plank. Tasty and we got 2 cocktails p.p. After waiting a long time for the hot snack and asking a few times. We did not receive the hot snacks, with the final response being that the kitchen was closed and so we could no longer get any food. In addition, we have not received any compensation. Very dissatisfied

The buratta truffle tapenade pizza unfortunately has no tapenade, but a huge amount of truffle mayonnaise, which made it fat on fat. Unfortunately I went home very nauseous because of this

Upon arrival there was already confusion about the reservation. Can you go outside? No, we want in. Ultimately settled for 9 people. The drinks were delivered fairly quickly when the food was served, something went wrong and one person forgot. Could happen, but no explanation or anything like that, so I asked. The food was good. Dessert also went well even though the waiting times are quite long. Then I got up and walked to the front for the bill. That took a total of fifteen minutes! I paid less because of all this. Just about the unkempt sanitary facilities, no trash can for paper that you had to tear from a roll. In short, we won't be going back here again. Been better in the past.

I understand that it might be a bit of an income on the first beautiful terrace day of the year, but the service is very slow and not exactly friendly. I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to contain tuna, avocado, vegetables, onion, sun-dried tomato and sauce, but when it finally arrived there was only tuna and a little arugula on my sandwich. I certainly wouldn't recommend this tent.

Visited 9 Mar, a nice sunny Sunday. The main issue is the understaffing - they don’t have enough waiting staff and no one inside to clean previous diners’ dishes. It’s all very disorganised. When we did get served, the lad was very polite, the food when it came was also better than we were expecting (once we had gone to find our own cutlery!). Loads of folk were sitting, waiting and then walking away telling newcomers to not waste their time. A shame as the food was good and the staff that were there, were trying to keep the place going. Great location though.

Tables dirty with bird droppings. Waiter indicates several times that he will take the order, but does not come by. So no lunch. Several tables around us walked off the terrace without having ordered!

Dirty toilets, men have no toilet roll holder, no toilet paper and no sink. 60 min for the first drink 40 minutes later dinner, during which one dish was forgotten. Kitchen hadn't fixed it yet. After we had already noticed this ourselves, we asked where it was, zero communication With table of 9 - 3 menus for dessert. Dessert arrived on time. Then looked at empty bowls for more than 30 minutes. Not a single question. So just come forward to pay. We also had to beg for that, because there was no ATM machine because someone walked outside with it. After 20 minutes we were fed up. A 15% discount on the bill had to be agreed with the manager on the phone?! Ultimately we were handed the phone ourselves, with the manager standing elsewhere in the pub. This place is not in order, in terms of hygiene and organization. Downer.

I had dinner here with my family and some friends as a group of 6, and it was great!!! food was fine, service was top notch and really nice and friendly staff, but at the same time professional, limoncello shots were also delicious. Fine Italian restaurant on the nicest square in Delft, the Beestenmarkt! Delicious starters, pasta, pizzas and desserts. From simple to special, such as black pasta or with all kinds of shellfish and shrimps. Comfortable seats and the service is not fast because it is often busy, but it is good.

Despite the sometimes negative reviews, I bought a Social deal. Had a 3 course menu and it was delicious. Location was a bit outdated but for this price it was great. Nice service! Thinking about the dessert, we didn't have time for this anymore but we were given the dessert in a container to take home! Top!

Had dinner here with friends last night and it was really great! To be honest, I had my doubts because of some of the reviews, but they turned out to be completely unfounded. The place looks beautiful, the atmosphere is cozy and the service was excellent. We were helped by a host (or at least someone who clearly had an important role in the service), and that man did his job perfectly. Super friendly, attentive and professional – and let's be honest, he was very good looking too. The food was delicious. I had a pizza that was just right: crispy base, fresh ingredients, just as it should be. My friends went for pasta and a piece of meat, and everything was perfectly seasoned. One of them eats gluten-free and even that was no problem – he got a gluten-free pasta that tasted great. All in all a great evening with good food and great service. Fratelli is highly recommended and I will definitely come back here!

Food is severely overpriced for the quality it offers. The tuna steak was overcooked, under seasoned and with a side of baked frozen potatoes that had 0 taste. The staff was rather indifferent too and didn’t really care for the customers

The food was okay nothing fancy or special the Gamberi is so expensive €15.75 for 7pcs of shrimps is too much. This is my honest review. The restaurant needs a bit of fixing mirror glass is broken.

We went here for dinner with my friend, the food was delicious, nothing to say about it. It's just the staff and service that asks if it is to your liking, seems normal to me, but not if your glass is empty and you want another drink, I wanted to ask people who walked by, but that didn't help. Then you get the feeling that you are being looked away, which is a shame!

This is supposed to represent a vegetarian pizza, actually a pizza with olives. While the menu says fresh vegetables. Did get 25% of the bill back.

When ordering, the service already indicated that there was no carpaccio... but we later received this with the mixed starters... Atmosphere in the restaurant is minimal, lack of maintenance and no atmospheric music for an Italian restaurant. Beef tenderloin was very tasty, dessert was mixed old ice cream. The food was good! Ambience too. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. 20 minutes to order. First only the drinks menu came, then the menu menu. After 45 minutes we had our iron.

How bad! I had high tea via Social Deal. Upon entering we were given some kind of directions to the table because the girl was definitely not walking along. (If you go to the right here and you will see a heater somewhere and next to the heater is your table). The etagère was then put down without explanation as to what was on it. And she quickly shouted “I hope you like it”. The SD included unlimited tea. We had exactly 1 teapot with water because the service was really nowhere to be found. The thing is that we still had something to discuss, so we were inside for 2.5 hours, but during those 2.5 hours no one asked if we needed anything and if we enjoyed it.

Table reserved for dining with a small group. We are welcomed and seated at a table where you can feel the draft blowing down your neck. After taking a seat at another table, we are not helped after 15 minutes, and we have to ask for this ourselves. The drinks and pizzas are quickly reserved. The pizza is hot and tastes good, compliments to the kitchen. The amount of wine in our glass is scandalously little!!! The, in our view, "manager or assistant manager" clears our table. He asks: do the ladies want a cappucino, and if we would like to pay as soon as possible. Excuse me?? !! I see that he is discussing with his employees that we are leaving soon, so he is putting other people "on hold". We really felt looked away and rushed. Never experienced this before. Brutal & disrespectful! We will never come here again!!

Bad staff, today I sat here with a friend at the door on the terrace. They don't come to you and ask if you want something to drink. They forget your order, you have to ask for it yourself and they just stand there doing nothing. Terrible tent!! We will never come here again!!
