This restaurant needs a management overhaul. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our salads to arrive. The polpetti we ordered as an appetizer came after that and the entrees arrived about the 2 hour mark. One entree was incorrect but we were not going to spend more time waiting. The food was delicious when it arrived but the extreme delay ruined our dinner here.

The food was very good, but unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the waiters (the restaurant manager?) who responded very rudely when we asked if our food was coming (after a one-hour wait). It's a shame because the other Italian waitress was super nice!

Finally, after three days of terrible food in Amsterdam, here in Delft we found Settebello, where we ate well. It's a nice, bright place, with an Italian chef and an Italian owner, and prices are average. The fact that they sell pizza by the slice instead of the typical round pizza means you can choose from a variety of flavors. Finish with a glass of prosecco and a good espresso!

Highly recommended if you want to eat delicious and authentic Italian food! 🇮🇹🤌🏻 The pizzas al taglio are wonderfully light on the inside and crispy on the outside, and the toppings are truly amazing. It's also great that you can order different flavors instead of one big pizza. The starters were delicious too. The polenta, burrata, and bruschetta are absolute must-tries. The tiramisu to finish was also top-notch!! Friendly staff, a cozy terrace overlooking the lively Market Square, and good value for money make it all complete. I am glad I discovered this little restaurant and will definitely be back!

A nice pizza place in central delft. They offer pizza by the slice so we could try a couple of varieties. The toppings were lovely. Kids enjoyed their version. Service was OK but not amazing. Drinks v expensive. I had the elderflower lemonade - no fizz in it . Touch expensive for what you get but it was delicious and the toppings unusual.

Delicious pizza slices and excellent tiramisu. Be careful when paying, because they unknowingly added a good €10.00 tip to our bill (we were dining with four people). I realized it once outside and went back. I did get the tip back then, but they claimed that I had approved the tip when paying. However, I only presented my debit card and entered my PIN, after which I received the bill.

What flavors and authenticity. Truly Italian, and you can taste it. I rarely visit a restaurant twice, but I would definitely like to come here multiple times with different friends to introduce them to Settebello. The service was also friendly and very helpful. A small point: they could ask/pay attention a bit sooner to see if we are finished eating and would like another drink. Otherwise, a top-notch experience, keep up the good work! 🇮🇹

We started with a dinner shared with my closest friends, family, and colleagues, and later continued the celebration into the evening with many more guests. Everything was simply perfect. From the first conversation to the last detail on the day itself, he was incredibly kind, organized, flexible, and genuinely invested in making the evening unforgettable. His professionalism and personal attention gave me complete peace of mind, allowing me to simply enjoy one of the most important milestones of my life. If you're looking for a place for a special celebration or simply an authentic Italian dinner, I wholeheartedly recommend Settebello.

I’ve learned something about myself on my trip to the Netherlands. I love eggplant. If you also love you some eggplant, get the Verdure pizza. We went a little crazy and ordered a ton of food but all of it was good.

Authentic Italian restaurant in the center of Delft. The pasta is super fresh and the pizza is fun to share. The nduja stracciatella was our favorite.

The price-performance ratio is unfortunately very poor. None of us left satisfied, and we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. A real shame.

Cute little place in the center of Delft, delicious pizza slices (actually pizza squares), two per portion, great for sharing. We had a vegetarian one with eggplant and one with spicy sausage (nduja), both were delicious. Friendly service who really go out of their way to please. Definitely recommended, and I'll be back for the pasta.

"Pizza" tasted good but this is not your place for a traditional pizza, you won't get it. For me they're trying to turn pizza into something it isn't: a fancy dish. First of all they're serving a portion of pizza as 2 square slices, one overlapping the other, so they become enmeshed with cheese. Why? Also there's no explanation from the menu or the person waiting, "Let me tell you how it works here, this is only 2 slices of pizza, so order accordingly" so you end up disappointed with what first appears in the first batch "ooh, is that all of it?" Second, they serve it on a square slate plate, as if it's a fancy dish. The first pizza restaurant I've ever seen do this. Why? Third, they serve some pizza variants without cheese, making them look more like a pizza dough sandwich. Why? I never found a person upset with a good pizza, why try to reinvent the wheel and disappoint classic pizza fans?

My friends and I had a great evening at Settebello. The restaurant is in a beautiful location in Delft, exactly in the main square, and perfect for a relaxed dinner also thanks to its cozy atmosphere. The place was pleasantly quiet which made it very easy to chat and enjoy the conversation at the table. As an Italian, I can honestly say the food tasted truly authentic and made me feel right at home: I had the cacio e pepe pasta and it was solid, but the real highlights were the pizza and especially the chocolate cake, very delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. The service was great as well: our waiter was very kind and caring and it was actually her first day, she did an amazing job and made us feel very welcome. To end the night, we had a great chat with the owner, who was very gentle and clearly passionate about the food and the restaurant. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I’ll definitely come back to :)

I chose this restaurant to sit on the square. Very nice view of the square…but the food is very disappointing…meatball is very dry, not fresh at all..very little portion of seafood and not tasty at all…bread is very dry…don’t understand why this restaurant has good reviews..I think I just paid for the location…If you don’t need a nice view,try to find other restaurants…there are so many restaurants nearby…

We went to Settebello in Delft and the experience was fantastic. We tried three spectacular pasta dishes (gnocchi, ravioli, and carbonara) and a delicious ham focaccia. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very kid-friendly because the waiters were so kind. We didn't have dessert this time, but we will definitely do it next time. We'll definitely be back! The dishes are medium-sized, so I suggest sharing plates to try everything :)

Best Italian food and service in The Hague!

Charming owners of Neapolitan origin, good food, good atmosphere, imaginative decoration with simple elements. We went with my 10 year old granddaughter, and the next day she wanted to repeat the pappardelle with ragù, very good. We also had the cold cuts and cheese board, and the frutti di mare, excellent. Lovely Dutch waitress one day, and the next one from Udine. Very correct quality - price. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Delft. To improve: tiny bathroom. We will be back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were surprised by the quality of the pasta and desserts, as well as the down-to-earth and welcoming owners. The carbonara was excellent, and the tiramisu was probably one of the best we've ever had the chance to taste. Our first dinner here was so good that we returned a second time before leaving the Netherlands. If you're looking for quality Italian cuisine at a reasonable price, this is the perfect place in Delft! Thanks again from France!

One of the best pizzas we’ve ever had! We came here just for a „snack” as we were not hungry. We ended up ordering 4 pizzas, 1 focaccia & tiramisu. Everything is so delicious that you can’t wait to try the next order. It’s not just a delicious food, it’s quite an experience. Highly recommended!

Cozy atmosphere, specially if seating in the back by the canal. The service what very friendly and familiar but what stood out was the variety of dishes which are perfect to share. Make sure you go with a large enough group of people that like to share so that you can try many things.

My wife and I stopped at this restaurant hopping for "good" Italian food. What we got was "GREAT" food! We have had Italian food throughout the world and did not expect to find food this AMAZING in Delft, Netherlands of all places. The salad was fresh crisp and very flavorful. My wife had the pappardelle with ragu. I had the gnocchi. Both incredibly good! Even the fried polenta was some of the BEST I have ever had. This place is kind of a sleeper, no fancy awnings or umbrellas, sitting right next to the Old City Hall, on the town square. We walked by first, then I said to Sharon let's go check the menu---SOOOOOO glad we did. The kitchen is small, so you might have to wait if the place is busy, but it IS worth it!!!!

In the central pizza of delf you can find this nice restaurant run by Italian guys. They offer typical Italian dishes in addition to pizza by the slice. Indoor restaurant with well-arranged tables and some outdoor tables. Wide choice of menu. Good dough and ingredients of the pizzas, for the dishes let's say you feel a bit nostalgic for Italy. Friendly and professional service. Average prices.

Went here for dinner to celebrate my partner and I's anniversary. We've walked past the restaurant before, as it has a beautiful location in center Delft. The staff was very friendly, there was plenty of choice, clearly Roman cuisine, and it all tasted great. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a classy dinner!
