I ordered a mango passion fruit cake and a selection of cookies from French Bakery for a birthday. When I picked it up I even received a free bag of cookies, what a nice surprise! The cake was delicious: fresh in taste, with a perfect balance between sweet and sour. Certainly not too sweet, which made it extra pleasant. The cookies were also of top quality, fresh and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves refined pastry!

Even though I don't like sweets so much, I tasted most of them due to all the sweets looked so nice and very delicious. They were really good.

Let's talk about the star of the show ; I had the pleasure of trying their chocolate raspberry charlotte cake, and it was divine. The cake was impeccably crafted, with a perfect balance of flavours and a texture that was nothing short of heavenly. What impressed me the most was the evident focus on quality ingredients. Maria takes pride in using fresh and good quality ingredients, and it truly makes a difference and making her offerings stand out in a league of their own. Hidden gem in town!

I got a pear almond tart. Loved it! The tastes blend so well together! I loved how tender the peach was and the crunch from the almond. Definitely recommend and looking forward to try other desserts!

I found Maria via instagram and decided to try it! We firstly tried the biscuits and really liked them so we decided to try the mango and passion fruit cake!!! I can say it was very delicious and had a super light taste! Maria is very friendly and also offered to deliver outside of her zones as well! will try everything 😍😋

Top notch service and amazing cake

I highly recommend Maria Clara's delicious cakes for any special occasion! Our particular favorite is the Mango Passionfruit cake with layers of fresh mango and mousse. It's not too sweet, letting the ripe tangy fruit shine. Also the chocolate taarts are amazing. Each decorated beautifully with fresh flowers. If you are in Amstelveen you can ask for home delivery. I would like to add a second review (July 2023) for the chocolate macarons, mini tarts and raspberry heart cookies we ordered last week. All of them delicious, with the chocolate macarons being our favorite. Crispy on the outside, decadent on the inside. Five stars again. Tip: Ask to be added to Maria Clara's flash sale list!

We discovered Maria's cakes and biscuits on a market a few weeks ago. As they all look gorgeous, we tasted a few and loved them. I recently ordered the chocolate and raspberry Charlotte cake for my son's birthday and everyone loved it. We are French, and used to very tasty cakes from Parisian bakeries, and honestly, Maria offers caked that are as tasty and beautiful. Not too sweet and super yummy.

We ordered a chocolate cake for my son’s birthday. It is truly is one of the best cakes we have had, with creamy decandent mousse, perfect balance of sweetness and tartness ( from raspberry). I've tried a few of FrenchBakery's recipes and they are out of this world! They are unique with exotic ingredients (like mango and passion fruit). Perfectly balanced in sweetness (not like the other cakes out there) and are free of colorants and preservatives. Also beautifully decorated with flowers 😍A must try!😀

French Bakery's chocolate cakes are heavenly! Whoever we serve it to, always wants a second piece. Macarons meet the highest of expectations, other desserts we tried were also delicious. Highly recommend it.
