Such a shame. Just bought the Jumbo cream cones for €8.25. But what a disappointment (unfortunately) Were very soft. These should be nice and crispy. I also took two tompouce me3 with banana. I know this is made of puff pastry and is no longer crispy if it sits for a while. There just wasn't much flavor to the chocolate mousse in it. Pieces of banana in it. But all in all, not very pleasant to eat. Also bought a butter cookie and it is VERY tasty. Too bad about the other things I bought.!!!!!!

Super tasty pastries and the most delicious apple turnovers with a roof

I ordered the Dubai letter online from Prenger. I just can't imagine that this has the 'real' Dubai taste. There was very little filling and everything was disgustingly sweet. And that for 16.95 each!!!! Rip off!

Excellent service! Ordered a custom designed cake for our son’s birthday the day before and it was ready on time the following morning. They did an amazing job! High quality and delicious. Will definitely order from them again.

I bought a caramel butter walnut tart at a Jumbo grocer in Zuid, but hadn't heard of Prenger before. I liked the packaging, branding and shiny glaze. The tart did not disappoint. It was super dense and rich. I would absolutely buy again for a 4-person dessert or for a small gift for someone outside NL.

We had our wedding cake made by Prenger. It was a red velvet cake. The cake was really delicious! I received many compliments from guests about how much they liked the cake. Highly recommended!

The pastries are generally very good, but the service is not. Especially the last time I left with a dissatisfied feeling. When I entered I had to say hello because the saleswoman stood with her back to me. After that, her tone remained unfriendly and impatient, while for these prices you want to be able to calmly make a slogan. And to top it off, when I asked for a Black Forest Kirsch, she pretended that the Sachertorte was the same. Yes, just without cherries...

Just got some orange tompouces. They were not tasty, the yellow cream tastes sour. It is fresh but something sour has been added. Hope the next ones don't have that anymore.

I had an agreement with Patisserie Prenger that a Luxury Chocolate Easter Egg with bonbon eggs would be sent. To date, nothing has been delivered and Patisserie Prenger does not respond to emails sent. So this is what happens if Patisserie Prenger does not keep to agreements made.

Premier now also sells their products at Jukbo under the heading "luxury items" and asks top price for a simple sponge cake that my little 5-year-old niece can make even better

A while ago I bought two tom cats from Prenger, at the Jumbo in Ouderkerk. Filling was lumpy. I reported this in their business on Amsterdamseweg. After this, thank you for the tomcats for a while. Tried again last week. First time was good. So let's get another box. Too bad the filling was not good, mealy and lumpy. No more Prenger cats for us for the time being.

Nice pattisserie with reasonable prices. Apple pie is sublime.

Quality is very good, but pay close attention to prices when displaying offers.

Nice stuff, a bit on the expensive side, but what a rude staff. Doesn't spare you a glance, snaps at you. For me a reason to get pastries somewhere else.

Delicious cake I have never tasted in the Netherlands

Bought bulbs from Bossche at the jumbo Buitenveldert. Were small and almost no whipped cream, it was more like a large profiterole. Too bad this is the second time that it is not tasty. A major disappointment from now on buying adrenal pastry shop.

Today I got Prengers' tompouce at Groenhof. I'm used to the quality of De Lange. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Tasteless and lumpy baker's cream, tough (old?) puff pastry. What a disappointment after all those years of having delicious tompouces and other pastries from De Lange.

Pastry shop De Lange is merging with Prenger...I'm afraid that the quality of the tompoets that De Lange always makes cannot be matched. I also found the apple pie that we always buy at De Lange to be significantly less appealing today, now that I got it from Prenger's store. The apple pie dough was much softer, not nearly as flavorful. The tomcats also don't compare to De Lange's. There was really no flavor and the puff pastry was not fresh. What a shame!

Very classic. Good quality, what you would expect from a good pastry chef. Modern flavors highly desirable. My mother also bought this in the 1950s. A little less sweet would be good.

Found it accidentally and the cakes taste soo good, especially the apple pie and the meringue! Also the lady was very sweet and welcoming!

I bought profiteroles at Jumbo Ouderkerk aan de Amstel on Saturday for 6.75. I have never eaten such bad ones, a drop of whipped cream and a lot of thick dough, so NOT edible.

It's a pastry shop (not a bakery) Excellent products. One of the best patisseries in the Amsterdam / Amstelveen region.

Deliciously made pastry, but in my opinion it would be more refined if the pastry chef would use less sugar. I personally find the pastry extremely sweet.

The only patisserie perhaps that uses a Peanut base in their chocolate cake, and has no labels on the cake for allergies whatsoever. After all the reviews online, I was really excited to place an order for the chocolate cake for my son's birthday. Imagine our horror, when he had an allergic reaction due to the peanuts in the cake on his birthday right after we cut the cake. Needless to say the rest of the birthday was spent in the ER and it is sadly a memory I am hoping will fade from my son's mind soon.

The worst pastry I have eaten in a long time. Old, frozen, tough, without expiration date. I tried a few bites and they literally made me sick. Beware, this bakery sells really old products.

Just got 6 tompouces, sorry but I think these come straight from the freezer, they are old, the "puffy" dough is cardboard (even the dog had trouble with it) and the whipped cream has the taste of the freezer. Letdown! I also bought mocha cream cones, which are just plain gross, old, tough and again the taste of freezing predominates. Sorry but this is really the worst thing I have tasted in a long time. Everything straight into the rubbish bin

Excellent confectionery, delicious and selected cakes, a large selection of delicious things. In my opinion, their packaged cookies are excellent.

The place looks nice and inviting....I don't know about their cakes, but the patisserie products we've bought and tried were horrible and surely expired!!I'm talking about their cheesy salty already made boxes and the coconut balls in their own plastic boxes!! I went with my 9 years old son Friday, the 26th of February and bought the products mentioned and we're ending up lat the emergency room last night with severe vomiting, abdominal cramps, severe nausea along with convulsions. After blood and urine tests the doctors decided it's food poisoning. He was the only one eating those products!!! Saturday, the 27th of February he's even worse with dihareea and still vomiting, planning to see the doctors again as he can't eat/drink anything. The products do not have on their package any expiration date. I will address this complaint to the consumers protection board/ bureau if there's any for further action! Just be alarmed!!

I had a complaint about the cake for my 16 year old (looked like a cake for a 4 year old), until now I am waiting for an answer, absolutely not customer-oriented, which is a shame... because you do pay for it!

I bought 4 cakes..sacher chocolate...apple...forest berries...chipolata and took it to my mother's party at the home she is living at...the cakes were just amazing...everyone loved them...great fresh quality! Super!
