Great little restaurant run by a Korean family. Good prices, but the portions are on the small side. The food is delicious, flavorful, and authentic. A great spot for a quick Korean meal.

I went to Gamasot last weekend with my family. My husband who’s from Korea can defenitely agree with me, this is the closest we came to Korean food here in Europe. Defenitely in my top 3 places. The food took me back to Korea in an instant. The smell of the food and everything. I defenitely recommend. It’s a small place but that makes it even more cosy. They do have a high chair for kids (we couldn’t use it as it was already in use). The service was great. The woman was super kind as well. If I’m back in Rotterdam, I will defenitely go back ☺️ in terms of prices, those are defenitely okay prices in Europe !

A small Mom & Pop restaurant. The food is very tasty. Great value for money. (Approx. 15 euros for bibimbap w/ beef) I have tried most of their dishes. I usually order the Ramen or Bibimbap. They are both delish!

It feels like a family shop, and the taste is very good. Because we are vegetarians, there are not many choices. We ordered spicy fried rice cakes, kimchi pancakes, and stir-fried glass noodles. Personally, I think the pancakes are super delicious, but the portion is a bit insufficient, the restaurant is small, and the smell of oil smoke is a bit strong.

Super authentic family-run S. Korean restaurant, feels like being in S. Korea. Had an amazing bibimbap, rice cake and large kimchi side. Very nice waitress and nice family overall. Protect this place at all costs.

I visited with my family and it felt like eating home-cooked Korean food. This is the taste that comes to mind when I miss Korean food while living abroad.

We come here often, and the food always tastes great. The portions are a bit small, but the quality and flavors make it worth it. Overall, it’s a favorite spot, and we’re happy to keep coming back!

The food is authentic! Especially the beef bulgogi! Service is outstanding!

Bulgogi was ok, but i missed that Korean side of the dish. I think the taste is really adapted to local Dutch customers.

Currently closed for holidays...I hope to enjoy Korean cuisine made by Gamasot very soon Update: Last Saturday, September 14, I was able to visit Gamasot. A small restaurant run by a family (?). Nice and small, so no menu like a thick book. The food (noodle soup and kimshi jeon) was tasty and spicy.

After so many years I've visited my favorite Korean place Gamasot again and the flavour of everything is still delicious. They're super consistent, or even better. I really LOVE their tuna kimbap, it's the best I've tried in the Netherlands. Wish I lived nearby so I can go more often.

It was very good, but somehow it tastes a bit good okayish level now. With the price thats going up and compared to others, definetely need some improvements in flavours or etc. Tastes very basic but the vibe is very homy authentic! Tteobokki taste very normal

I like this place for friendly and authentic atmosphere. The variety of the menu is perfectly balanced as it’s not so huge but enough to offer the best traditional dishes and allows to cook everything quite fast in such a small kitchen. Everything I tried was great! I definitely want to try other dishes next time! The only thing I would like to change is the crockery as some of the plates were chipped.

There was a long queue so I was expecting this place to be good. I ordered the rice cakes for 12€ and this is all that came with it. So little, barely filling. Rice cakes w a few pieces of onion and carrot. Not worth 12€ at all. This pic was taken before I had even started eating. The picture on the menu showed much more than this. Very disappointed by the deception.

Although it's my first time eating at Gamasot Rotterdam. I was pleasantly received with a warm hearted welcome by the owners and employees. The menu assortiment may be short and small but what they do offer is made with care and from the heart. You really can taste the authentic flavours of South Korea and that for a good price!

I think I have been coming here for 10 years or something. The menu isn't huge, but all the food is fresh and tasty! A real mom 'n pop restaurant. Don't go for fine dining, go here for amazing food that takes you to Korea while you're eating there. Decor is absolutely no-nonsense. Staff is always friendly. You can wake me in the middle of the night for their amazing Haemool Pajeon(Seafood Pancake). There is not a better Korean place in the area - I said what I said.

Als je een authentiek Koreaans restaurant zoekt: dit is hem. Het ziet er misschien niet luxe uit, maar het eten is heerlijk en wordt aangeboden voor een goede prijs, iets wat mij deed denken aan mijn reis naar Zuid-Korea. Iedereen is super vriendelijk, en met de locatie om de hoek van Blaak goed te bereiken. Controleer goed de openingstijden en probeer deze plek een keer uit! Mijn aanrader zijn de Koreaanse stijl pannenkoeken met Kimchi of Zeevruchten, zo krokant!

Simple and genuine Korean little restaurant run by a friendly Korean family. They have bimbimbap, toppoki, ramen, gimbap, mandu, panjeon, lunch boxes for not too expensive prices. Nice for two people or going alone. It can be busy during rush hour, but worth to try. Otherwise come back in less crowded periode. You can also have take out from the restaurant, but do keep in mind No delivery.

Heel lekker gegeten hier met 2 personen. Klein zaakje met goede bediening en goede kok. Hier komen we heel graag terug.

Was al jaren niet meer in een Koreaans restaurant geweest en dus ook in al die tijd geen Koreaans gegeten. Kan wel zeggen dat ik dit enorm gemist heb. Gamasot is een knus en gezellig restaurant om in een flits bezoek heerlijk te genieten van de specialiteiten. Heb heerlijk genoten van de dumplings, Hae Mool Pa Jeon en Bibimbap met rundvlees. Alles was verser dan vers en de smaaksensatie was fantastisch. De service is hier van hoge kwaliteit, het eten wordt zo 10 minuten nadat het is opgenomen geserveerd.

Small and typical Mom & Pop restaurant serving typical simple Korean dishes. A middle aged couple working in the kitchen and I presume their daughter as server. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered kimbab (€9), teokbokki (€12) and pork bulgogi (€15). My advice would be to serve the teokbokki and bulgogi on smaller plates, the quantities were passable but might look small on the first look. The teokbokki had a classic sweet and mildly spicy taste and a lot of sauce. But for this price some fish cake should definitely be added and a sprinkle of green/spring onion would make it look much prettier/tastier. The bulgogi had a nice char and I could taste the smokey-ness. Kimbab with beef was also simple and went good by dipping it in the deokbokki sauce. Probably the most fairly priced dish of the three. I saw some tables having the kimchi pancake. It looked really savory and tasty. I'm pretty sure this is the best bang for your buck item on their menu. On future visits I'd order pancakes/jjampong/kimbab/ramyun/bibimbab. These seem the best price-quantity wise.
