Korean Food by Allegaartje in Noord

Have eaten in a Korean restaurant elsewhere. Really nothing special.

The restaurant is located in a very vintage street in the north of rotterdam. The service is friendly and very well prepared, the person who assisted us explained us meticulously the dishes and the presentation! They have a huge ammount of vegetarian and vegan options. I suggest to try their pancakes not even in Korea we’re so tasty!

Delicious food! Authentic Korean food in a relaxed setting. A hidden gem. Don't be confused by the somewhat vague website, which mainly focuses on takeout. It's also a great place to dine in. They offer a variety of appetizers in small portions so you can try a bit of everything. And the main courses are sized so there's still room for dessert. The bibimbap was superb, served in a piping hot bowl with raw egg so you can stir it in yourself. Totally authentic. Unfortunately, we don't live nearby, but we'll definitely be back for another meal!

Amazing staff made us feel very welcome. They gave us a wonderful private dining experience.

Cozy place with very tasty food.

Cozy restaurant in a pleasant neighborhood. The food is fresh (including the mandu/dumplings) and super delicious! I like to come here for the bibimbap, kimchi fried rice and savory pancakes, but actually everything is good and there are many vegetarian options. Inside it is really a mixed bag, which makes it feel like a cozy living room. I also like to pick up food here, a much tastier and healthier alternative than other takeaway options. Recommended for good food and nice atmosphere!

What a surprise. The BBQ (3 courses) was really tasty and a fun experience. Korean the way I prefer to experience Korean, to eat my fingers. Compliments for the friendly and pleasant welcome.

Super friendly service and nice interior. The food is simple but tasty. The bibimbap - really from a stone pot - could use more different vegetables (and not just raw ones) as a filling. Ditto for the kimbap. The dumplings are great!

We passed by chance and decided to try because the place is beautiful. We shared all the starters and a fried rice. The food amazing and the service impecable (very nice guy and really efficient) Would return to Rotterdam just to eat there again!!

What an expensive tent! The restaurant is quite cozy, they certainly have not invested in the interior. Kok had put her hair up sloppily, without wearing hairnets. I was immediately afraid of finding hair in my food. Furthermore the quantity of food was very little for what you paid. About the quality OMG 103 euros for a miserable 3 shrimps and 2 pieces of meat🙄….. Dessert was so small that I almost didn't see it… All in all it is a street food restaurant with a Michelin price. They will certainly never see me again.

Echt één van mijn favoriete restaurants waar ik veel vrienden en familie mee naartoe heb genomen die inmiddels ook fan zijn. Ook wel eens andere Koreaanse restaurants geprobeerd, maar niemand overtreft Allegaartje!

Het eten hier was echt heerlijk! De bediening was ook heel vriendelijk en attent. Alleen het interieur vond ik een klein beetje tegenvallen.

한국음식점이 여기 있는 줄 몰랐네요 김밥을 take away 했고 밥에 간이 없는 깁밥이지만 밥알들이 살아 있고 깔끔한 맛(김치 단무지 오이)이었습니다. 김치를 추가로 더 넣어 주셨는데 authentic한 한국 묵은지 볶은김치맛이었습니다. 다음에는 돌솥밥을 먹어 보고 싶네요.

Hele gezellige en ongedwongen plek waar je van een heerlijke Koreaanse bowl of bbq kunt genieten. Bediening is aardig en menselijk. Kies vooral een keer de Koreaanse variant van de kopstoot dat is echt hilarisch!!

Very nice people and best Korean food I had in Rotterdam. FOOD: I had a nice spicy sushi roll, dumplings, a very nice and filling Korean poke bowl. For dessert pancakes with lentils, the sharpness of the union and the softness match very well and had a strange but really nice layered texture. LOCATION Ambiance is nice, very personal styled creating a nice cozy atmosphere. They have a little terrace with brightly coloured cushions, on the side of a not too busy one way street. PEOPLE Very friendly people. They also sometimes organise fundraisers with live music where they donate the profit to charity. Good people. Nice side note: They also have a nice rack of postcards with that one of the employees makes

Zeer gastvrij cq. spontaan ontvangst; leuke kleine kaart met smaakvolle gerechten. Volgende keer gaan wij de BBQ proberen!

Super lekkere koreaanse pannekoekjes ! Heel gezellig vanbinnen en de gastvrouw was erg aardig :)

Lieve bediening, lekker eten, ook vegan opties.

Gezellige plek met aardige en enthousiaste bediening. Vooral de bibimbap en Kimchi fried rice was ontzettend lekker. Genoeg vegetarische opties.

Wat een gezellige plek op de Zwaanshals, leuke en fijne sfeer. Wij hebben erg lekker gegeten, met genoeg vegetarische opties. De kimbap, pajeon met kimchi en lente-ui waren echt heel nice. De vegetarische spicy chicken was niet geheel naar onze smaak, maar de kimchi fried rice was heerlijk!

Het was echt supergeweldig. Heerlijk gegeten.

VIP bbq tafel gedaan. Heel sfeervol restaurant met de typische Koreaanse naam, allegaartje. Leuke kaart, ook goede drank kaart. Home made lemon lemonade was fantastisch. Voetjes op de vloer en ontspannen. Goede vibe, lieve en spontane bediening.

Prettige kennismaking met Koreaans eten gehad hier. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en het eten was erg lekker!

Heerlijk gegeten: we hebben een beetje van alles wat gedaan (proeverij naar keuze van de chef). Bijzondere smaken en vriendelijke bediening. We hebben afgehaald maar binnen ziet er uitnodigend uit. En ons dochtertje heeft nu een UTW-sticker op haar slaapkamerdeur, stoer!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Go for the BBQ if they have the space available. It's just more fun preparing the meat yourself. Very tasty dishes and a good selection of craft beers.

Dit Koreaans eethuisje heeft het allemáál: een creatief kleurrijk interieur, goedgemutste bediening, brede glimlachen en fijne humor, héérlijk eten en stoute drankjes... Wat jammer dat ik zo ver woon, toch! ♥

Well, at least the lady staff was friendly. The Kimchi Pancake was served quite over cooked and salty. So we returned the remaining 2 pieces and gave our feedback. We got no solution until the owner came as ask if we are ready to pay the bill in a rude manner… We gave our feedback again and she said it is all perfect and basically no return or not gonna cooked again than letting us eat the remaining 2 pieces… We settled in the end with paying 50% of the plate price. What a joke. If I now take a look at the photo again and compare with other guest photos… This pancake is certainly not the same… okay, maybe nothing legally wrong but will not come back.

Just had dinner with my husband here this evening. I have been looking forward to it but the experience is somehow half satisfying. The food is ok, a rather generic selection, nothing you can’t make at home if you have a rice cooker, a wok and Korean ingredients. The rice is not Korean for sure (Thai rice?) The decoration is random and not so much reflecting a contemporary spirit of Korea. Music is 70s rock, also confusing. I wonder what’s the story of this restaurant? It’s more like a ‘bistro with Korean theme’ than a ‘Korean restaurant’. Half satisfied. Incomplete experience. Also pity: not enough assortment of Korean drinks and authentic homemade Korean desserts. On my table was a sad plant for adoption with 12,50Euro price tag. Very confusing. What’s the story here?

2 sets van Koreaanse stokjes en lepels besteld uit de webshop, de dag erna al in huis! Supersnelle levering en erg cute verpakt.

Lekker keuvelen aan tafel met je eigen BBQ . Wrapjes maken van sla en de koreaanse toebehoren. Gezellig relaxt sfeertje. Aardige bediening. Lekker beetje rommelig gezellig. Originele aankleding. Lekker gegeten.

We waren hier voor de verjaardag van onze zus en we hadden de Koreaanse bbq. Het eten was fantastisch en personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Is zeker een aanrader!!

Vanavond voor het eerst eten gehaald in dit ontzettend schattige tentje in Noord. Dit is echt the place to be was mn eerste reactie na een hapje proeven. Het pinapparaat deed even vervelend, uiteindelijk opgelost door het geld gewoon over te maken. Heel lief geholpen en zelfs een linnen tasje gekregen :) helemaal happy! Volgende keer kom ik lekker een hapje eten met mijn vriend❤️
