Restaurante muy rápido y muy bueno. El servicio fue realmente bueno y a todos nos encantó nuestra comida, incluido nuestro helado de mango raspado.

The food was fine as always. The service, not so much. Both girls working the tables were completely disinterested, disengaged, and slow. It wasn’t busy at all, so there’s no excuse. When they asked if everything was okay when I paid, I told them this, and there was no apology or even an acknowledgment; just a blank stare. Very unprofessional.

Cozy vibe and super tasty food. It was hard to make a choice, because everything seemed delicious to us. The chicken was good and we enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back!

Good chicken, service was mid. They mixed up our order and made us pay for the fries because we didn’t ask them if it was a mistake or it was a free snack while we were waiting for the main dish to come which took a long time to make.

Tasty food, staff was nice, but it’s very loud

After an earlier review after a disappointing experience, we were allowed to come back again after contact. The previous experience was more than made up for! We were amply compensated and the service was very good! In addition, the food was super tasty. Very nice and neat how Sojubar solved this! Unfortunately, I could not post a review about the food or the atmosphere. I made a reservation for 7 people two weeks in advance. When I arrived at the restaurant, we were not on the list. The fault lies with Soju, since we were also able to prove that we had contacted them to make a reservation. The guy there indicated that this apparently happens more often and that it probably simply was not noted. Then they did not think about compensation or something. Or possibly call another branch to see if they possibly have room. You are there with a group, without a reservation, on a Saturday evening. Too bad they do not think about it, while the fault lies with them. Bad service!

Awesome place to try various kinds of fried chicken that is different to each other. All what I’ve tried so far was great. There are spicy options that could be really spicy so be careful or ask them for milk.

Good but the chicken was absolutely nothing special

Good food for reasonable prices, enjoyed Korean food, but the menu is not various, it is more for drinking Korean alcohol with Korean fried chicken. So recommend it for a drink in the evening than lunch. Much enjoyable!

Very poor chicken seasoned with very basic sauces. Only two beers on the menu. Dirty and not very comfortable. There must be better options in this street.

Ate here recently whilst on a work trip, was able to get a seat quickly and the service was also quick and polite. Food came quickly, with really good portion sizes and great flavour. Next time I'm in Rotterdam, I'll be sure to pass through.

The food came relatively quickly. The gimbap was tasty, but the chicken and tteokbokki were a bit disappointing. They had a good crunch and spiciness, but it was too sweet for my own taste. Furthermore, the terrace looked nice, but we sat inside where there were no lights on, which was my fault because we chose that. Furthermore, the staff was fine and there were no misunderstandings

The Korean Fried Chicken was spot on. I should have tried the crunchier ones though. I tried the spicy one. Be ready to get your hands dirty, but don't worry they have you covered as they provide plastic gloves. I was alone so easily found a place to sit. But if you are a group then you might have to wait as this place is always packed. The Soju was on point as well. Great place to hang out with friends for a night out and drinks. Good vibes guaranteed 👌✌️👋

A place to go for the chicken. It is very tasty and the portions are huge. Try soy garlic and cilantro lime chicken.

Can never go wrong with soju bar! Amazing staff and atmosphere, high quality and delicious food for a very reasonable price. We got bibimbap and the soy garlic chicken which i highly recommend, the cheese fries were not at all good, too sweet for some reason and did the taste so well. It was something new on the menu we tried but nevertheless everything else was amazing

Really quick service but so quick it feels like a fastfood restaurant. As a vegetarian it wasn’t for me, they have tofu bibimbap but it lacked flavor for me.

Best chicken and atmosphere in town.

Chicken was amazing as always. Don’t order the fries with cheese onion powder. If you don’t care for customer service, this is the place for you on Mondays.

Ordered the honey garlic chicken and a pepsi. Pepsi was incredibly small, chicken was ok in flavor, but nothing spectacular, and it was a lot of skin and fried batter, not a lot of actual chicken; cabbage salad that came with the chicken lacked seasoning heavily, only thing that barely saved it was the sauce/mayo it barely had on top. Tried to order some more of that sauce for the chicken, as it was lacking moisture, but the waitress just told me “sorry we don’t sell it” 🫠 Also, don’t really understand why they offer one single option of fried chicken for their bibimbap when they have tons of different options of fried chicken to share. Overall not a good experience, overpriced all things considered, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We ordered soy and honey wings. They were delicious. Crispy. Well seasoned. We are here for the second time and we will definitely come back when we are in the area.

The food is tasty, the service was good too. Only the music is SO incredibly loud. I couldn't even have a normal conversation with the girls, we were really shouting at each other. Seemed like we were in the club.

Best Korean fried chicken in the world! Sojubar Rotterdam has to be one of my personal favourite restaurants out there. The chicken is super juicy and crispy, the staff is very friendly, the restaurant is well decorated and there are lots of different flavours to choose from for your chicken. Next to that, Sojubar offers various other Korean dishes for those who are not that crazy about chicken. My personal favourite is definitely the onion lover flavour. Parking nearby is easy, but make sure to book a table in advance since this place can be quite busy.

Delicious chicken! Only sometimes unclear what you got with the menu and not entirely clear how to use everything, it is always full and we had to wait a while. The cocktail was yakult soju, not very special, the chicken was the gangnam style (above) not very tasty in our opinion, and the bottom the soy garlic, very tasty! For two you have enough with 2 medium chicken and 1 small side dish, otherwise it is too much, at least for us.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I arrived at the restaurant exactly at 22:00 on Sunday night, expecting it to be open as advertised. However, all the tables had been cleared, and the chairs were put away. A waiter, speaking in a rather dismissive manner, informed me that they had already closed and started cleaning. He also told me that I should call ahead before coming. Yet, inside the restaurant, there was a group of seven or eight people chatting. If you stop serving before your official closing time, why do you list 23:00 on your windows and online? I walked all that way at night for nothing.

Nice restaurant. The atmosphere is good, staff is friendly and the chicken is good. The portions are big and affordable. Recommended if you want to eat Korean chicken for a not too high price.

The food at Sojubar is simply divine. Those sticky fried chicken pieces…. I mean, if my only complaint is self-inflicted sticky fingers because I refused to try the gloves then that should tell you everything you need to know. The chicken was well-cooked, unbelievably sticky in the best sense of the word, and sooooo tasty. The coleslaw side adds a nice change of flavor. Sort of makes you feel less guilty about devouring the chicken. And the beer is good too! :) We only tried delivery so I can’t say anything about the experience within the restaurant itself, but I’d definitely want to go try it out!

Went out on a Friday night without reservations, wait is 10-15 minutes, we got seated outside beside the street (wont recommend if you dont like loud noises for example motors), ordering and serving was quick, food was alright first bites would sometimes be a wow effect but for me personally as i continue to eat it slowly turns dull and meh. Fries weren’t all that and their kimchi wasn’t good either, including the table beside us didn’t like them either. That aside the servings and plating were great. My fav dish i got there is probs the bimbimbap:). In conclusion would i come again to eat? Not really. But if you want to go drink and have some sides with it, then this is the perfect place to go!

We had a very tasty chicken meal, the price was okay, the chicken with cheese was the least in our opinion, but it was still worth it. We had 4 portions for 3 of us, 3 would have been enough. Chicken with honey was very tasty. Soju a bit expensive but also very nice

Helaas was de ervaring hier niet zoals gehoopt. De wachttijden waren erg lang, blijkbaar door een fout in de keuken. Tot overmaat van ramp werd ons eten ook nog op een andere tafel gezet. Sommige medewerkers leken er duidelijk met tegenzin te werken, wat de sfeer niet ten goede kwam. Het eten zelf was oké, met als positieve uitschieter de kip, die heerlijk krokant was. Al met al geen topervaring, en ik weet niet of ik hier snel terugkom.

We eten hier regelmatig en zijn altijd tevreden. Het eten is heerlijk en de service is uitstekend. Veel verschillende soorten Soju om uit te kiezen en de homemade ice tea is heel nice.

Super nice tent for a short period. Reserved in advance at half past six for our 5th anniversary. Our plan: drinking and eating all evening. We were thrown out around 8 p.m. When calling to make the reservation, nothing was said about an end time. We suddenly had to leave. Didn't live in the area and came to Rotterdam especially for that. Very special. You reserve a spot, but you get kicked out. We had to walk to the train because our evening was cut short... very unfortunate. Fast service.

Great experience at Sujo Bar! Yesterday I had dinner at Sujo Bar, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The atmosphere was cozy and modern, perfect for a night out. The food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was top notch. Whether you go for a light bite or an extensive meal, Sujo Bar will certainly not disappoint. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The employees gave good recommendations and made sure everything was to your liking. In short, highly recommended! I will definitely come back here.

Mi hija le encantó e incluso mi marido exigente estaba muy impresionado y dijo que deberíamos volver aquí de nuevo pronto. parece que se llena rápidamente, así que será bueno hacer una reserva. When the restaurant just opened the (Soju OG) fried chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned on the inside with a perfect crispy crust. However, the last couple of times the chicken wings were disappointing: dry and tough meat with a tasteless crust. The (soju Yakult) cocktails are nice but could benefit from a better presentation (fancier glasses and crushed ice for instance, instead of an out of season strawberry in winter) The seats at the entrance are not comfortable as the door is slammed every time customers enter or delivery bags are brought outside. More attention to detail overall.

Delicious food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Friendly service, we didn't have to wait long for our food. I didn't like the coleslaw a bit, so make a good dressing and drizzle it over. Before Sojubar Utrecht opened, my friend and I always went to Sojubar Rotterdam. It was our regular place to enjoy good food. Just like in Utrecht, I recommend booking in advance so you don't have to wait long. The food is, as you would expect from Sojubar, super delicious. Everything is fresh and well prepared, with delicious flavors. The homemade iced tea is highly recommended, which is refreshing and goes well with the dishes. Although we now go to Sojubar Utrecht more often, the Rotterdam branch remains a nice place to eat. It's a must if you're in the area and like good food!

Very good fried chicken and bibimbab

I am a regular at Soju’s. My flatmate and I always order the same items. (1) fried chicken, spicy-sweet flavour (2) beef bibimbap (3) bingsu w/ matcha ice cream & red bean paste The spicy-sweet flavour is not too spicy. They have a very spicy sauce. We tried it and it was not very good. The only flavour you can taste is chili. (They serve the chicken with a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw used to be fresh and tasty, but lately you get a handful of cabbage with a splash of dressing on top.) The beef bibimbap is always very good. They serve it in a stone pot. The bottom of the rice always gets very crispy. My flatmate does not like it, but I love it. The bingsu w/ matcha ice cream and red bean paste is also always very good. They decorate it with KitKat. It is a popular restaurant, so I recommend making a reservation (by phone) 2-3 days in advance.

Food is DELICIOUS. The photos in the menu look delicious and the food served looks exactly the same! Delicious Korean chicken and the desserts (bingsu) are highly recommended. However, we think the 1.5 hour periods are a bit of a shame; still the feeling that you have to eat in a hurry.

A surprise. We ended up in this place late last night, together with some colleagues. Even though it was after 9pm and there were 12 of us, after a bit of hesitation, they let us sit. Informal environment, with neon lights on the walls, high stools and wooden tables. Tasty and tasty Korean cuisine. We took several dishes (the cilantro chicken was excellent), all good. Super honest prices.

nice meal! my friend and I ordered the honey butter chicken & the cheesy fries, the honey butter chicken was crispy & soft on the inside :), one large portion is enough for two. and the cheesy fries were on the slightly sweeter side, but definitely tasty! The staff was very friendly and despite the crowds we were quickly assigned a spot & were helped quickly, all in all, definitely recommended!!

Decent Korean Fried chicken! The chicken and sauce were both great! The cheese fries were somehow disappointing - it tasted very artificial. The homemade ice tea was okay. Service was really good. I thought it was more on the expensive side, 28€ for myself.

Great tent! Good service, delicious food and excellent prices. Normally I take the sweet and spicy, but now I took the go to hell. Very tasty, but be careful that they are really next level spicy. I can eat very hot food, but these were bordering on too much.

Terribble customer service, ordered food and never recieved it. Called the restaurant, they couldnt help us. Dennis said he would call us back with a solution. No call! Spent €75 euros and all im left with is a hungry family! Get your act together this is no way to treat customers!

Very tasty and alottttt of food

The chicken was nice and crispy and overall the food was good quality. However, once we began eating it felt like we were being rushed out the door. We were asked if would like a box for our food in the middle of eating when we both still had food. When we said yes, we only later noticed it came with an extra charge on the bill. If the idea is to ask people to leave as early as possible (after 15-20 min) it would be nice to inform that although cheap the box is not free.

we came earlier than usual dinner time. we managed to get a table for 4 without reservation before the long line started. food came out so fast, earlier than the drinks. staff was friendly. portion is quite big we ordered way too much (large boneless cheese, cilantro lime medium, spicy sweet medium, beef bibimbap)

The Kimbap beef bulgogi didn't have much flavor, I found them quite bland. As for the sweet spicy chickens, they were tender, but had too much sauce, which meant that I tasted more of the sauce than of the chicken. The service was good, apart from one person who raised his voice towards us.

Really recommend this place! If u want to sit inside it’s better to make a reservation. The food was really great. The chicken was tender & juicy. It would be great if you could always choose between wings & boneless. They also have vegetarian options in the kimbap, bibimbap & mandu which also taste great. There are a lot of different soju options & tasty cocktails. The staff is also very nice. So if u think about going, do it!

Very nice find. The food came in really quickly in spite of the big order (we were a table of 11 people) and all at once. Very well cooked, well seasoned and overall tasty (the spicy chicken is quite burning , the 6 hot peppers shown in the menu really do mean spicy). Food is kosher which is a nice add. The service was quick and courteous. The atmosphere is ok, I feel it could use a bit of a revamp. Try not to sit at a table close to the entrance. They tend to leave the door open and it gets quite cold.

Nice, chill Korean Chicken place. I tried their Honey Butter Chicken and Korean beer. I was feeling full before eating this menu and I just wanted to try it. But when I started to eat, I couldn't stop myself. Their chickens are really juicy. I prefer more sauce on it but in the end It was a perfect dinner option. I highly recommend this place if you like fried chicken.
