Here you can dine wonderfully. The menu is well composed and is regularly updated. The chefs know their trade, the dishes are balanced and well seasoned. The selection of wine is also excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The service is also always customer-oriented, they also get the credit for their hospitality.

Wonderful restaurant! Lovely setting and interior, limited outdoor seating so we sat indoors. Staff is observing and attentive, polite and organized. It's a breath of fresh air in today's society where many restaurants have insufficient or untrained staff. This is an oiled machine! Very satisfying 😃 The menu is great , creative and cute. The presentation is refreshing and works well allowing the chef to change the menu regularly without too many extra costs for reprints. (The contrast text/background could be slightly increased to ease the older aging eyes in the audience, but that's a personal observation.) We chose the 3 course menu from the chef and mentioned we'd picked the restaurant for its fish dishes, but we'd happily enjoy anything he has to offer. Our aperitif was half a dozen oysters à la Gaspar and a glass of Cava. The kimchi dressing on the size 4 oysters was marvelous! However, I enjoy the taste of fresh oysters and the salinity of the sea water. But I realize that's an acquired taste and this is may be much more pleasing for a large number of people! Very nice 👍🏼 Starter was smoked kabeljauw with lamsoor and black lentils and grapes, served chilled but not cold. Very nice! The flavors complimented each other and the smoked fish was super nice 😍 Main dish was baked schelvis with more lamsoor (in season this time of year), mashed potatoes ,almonds, and a sauce of cêpes. Super super tasty 😋 the mushroom sauce aligned smoothly with the fish, lifting it in flavors and the potatoes were crazy smooth and luscious. ❤️ Dessert was a creative spin on crema Catalan: a lemon curd base with an airy light whipped crema over it which was then covered in the characteristic caramel crust. Wonderful 😊 so nice and simple but still full of flavors! Highly recommended!

Gaspár is a super cozy and beautiful restaurant that really delivers quality. A small but special menu where all dishes were super tasty. The service was fast and friendly. We can't wait to come back again!

We lost hope in Dutch restaurants a long time ago… but this one is a true gem! The food is amazing—everything is absolutely delicious. Perfect combinations of flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a great variety. The service is also incredible! The only thing that could be improved a little is the drinks and wine list. Totally recommend! We will be back!

Had a delicious meal and enjoyed the chef's four-course surprise menu. The time between courses was more than sufficient and therefore filled the evening. The staff is very friendly and their guidance during dinner excellent. Definitely recommended.

In the enchanting ambiance of Gaspar we experienced a true taste sensation! Although the chicken was not available, we were treated to an unexpected treat: tender and juicy veal that enchanted our taste buds with every juicy bite. The octopus, cooked to perfection, was a true culinary discovery that thrilled our taste buds. And the carpaccio, a work of art of flavors and textures, was a delightful symphony on our plate. Great food, pleasant service. The only shortcoming was the engines that occasionally pass by at high speed and with a lot of noise.

We had a nice meal at Gaspar's, we had a nice table in the back. The quality of the food was very good and the appropriate wine was served with each dish. The staff was friendly, I can recommend Gaspar, but make sure you reserve in advance.

Delicious food, the menu is not huge, but there is something for everyone. Value for money is also great and on top of that the staff is very friendly. Recommended!

The food exceeded expectations, dishes were well seasoned with strong elements. Dessert (catalana) was surprisingly good! The special of the case (bouillabaisse) was reasonable in the 4-course setting, but it would be better served as a separate main course. The quantity of this dish in the 4-course menu means that the dish stands out less well. Interior and lighting was somewhat "boring" but not uncomfortable. All in all, enough reasons to come back :) 8/10

Background music could still be adapted a little more in style to the overall atmosphere, now it was good, but not excellent. Unlike the service and food. That was amazing!

The food is really delicious, you can really taste that attention is paid to the food and also for a good price! The Côte de Boeuf in particular is highly recommended.

At Gaspár you feel that everything has been thought about before it is put on the table. The food is beautifully presented, the flavors are quite strong and go well together, the wines are fine and the fries are great. The cheese board comes with the most delicious rye crackers. In addition, the service is knowledgeable and friendly. Don't expect large portions; a starter is a must.

Dit is een top bistro. We hebben genoten.

De gegrilde oesterzwam en gebraden bloemkool was heerlijk. De hertenbout wat minder (teveel Maggie). Hierdoor klopte de prijzen niet want die waren wat aan de hoge kant. De service was echt top. Je hoefde nooit moeite hiervoor te doen en er werd vaak, maar niet teveel, gevraag of alles nog naar wens was. De aankleding en daardoor de sfeer was niet echt gezellig te noemen. Dit werd gelukkig gecompenseerd door mijn date (mijn jarige vrouw) waardoor het een prima avond was.

Al meerdere keren bij Gaspár wezen eten en elke keer een succes. De gerechten zijn verrassend en het personeel vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader!

Heerlijk en kwalitatief eten voor een goede prijs, leuke ongedwongen sfeer, nette service! 5/5, 10/10, etc... (wij hebben per ongeluk een van uw menukaarten meegenomen in onze papieren, waarvoor excuses!)

Very nice restaurant with original, creative and fresh seasonal food. The chef has an eye for quality and perfection for his dishes. Great in meat and fish with a monthly-updated menu and fair prices. The service is great and I felt very welcome!

Al meerdere keren geweest, goede bediening en lekker eten. Tijdens het voorgerecht een 2e glas rose besteld, maar de fles was op dus we kregen halve glazen. Ze hadden geen andere fles meer koud liggen. Deze hebben ze uiteindelijk van de rekening gehaald. Erg keurig. Core-de-boeuf was rare besteld maar kregen eerder medium/medium rare. Nog steeds goed, maar hier en daar toch wat doorbakken. Anders 5 sterren. Zeker de moeite waard!

This place will be in the Michelin guide soon, will cost twice as much and will still be a bargain.

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras. Vriendelijke bediening, leuk contact mee gehad. Twee nieuwe gerechten van de kaart gegeten: coquilles (voor) en rundersukade (hoofd). Aanraders! Ook de vega gerechten vielen erg in de smaak. Ze nemen blijkbaar de reviews van gasten serieus: want de borden waren goed warm ;-)

Helemaal prima! Heerlijke bouillabaisse gegeten aan de bar.

Gaspár is een laagdrempelige bistro, die op een doordeweekse dinsdagavond goedbezocht is. We hebben smakelijk gegeten (o.a. gegrilde asperge en Côte de Boeuf), maar niet bijzonder. De bediening is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig, maar maakt niet echt contact en heeft geen aandacht voor detail (borden zijn koud waardoor gerechten snel afkoelen; opscheplepels voor saus en salade ontbreken; geen warm welkom en tot ziens). Ondertussen staan ze zodra een glas wijn leeg is wel binnen een minuut klaar om het opnieuw in te schenken. De drank is het verdienmodel: €6,75 voor glazen die niet meer dan vier kleine slokken bevatten, is echt te veel. Vandaar de kritische prijs-kwaliteitwaardering.

Enorm goed gegeten! Zeer unieke gerechten met een geweldige smaaksensatie. Vooral het huisgedraaid sorbetijs was als dessert een gelukzalig moment! Ook bijpassende wijnen waren lekker! Wijnen waren niet bijzonder en er werd ook niet veel extra verteld over de wijnen. Al met al zeker wel prima!!

Great little spot , super compact , amazing steak , probably the best I've had in Nijmegen. Not cheap, but nothing is these days. Wine was good too, some interesting drops, had the Portuguese red , can't remember the name but went very well with the steak . Will return

Wat een pareltje heeft Nijmegen er bij! Ze hebben hier duidelijk verstand van koken. Ook voor vegetariërs is het hier goed vertoeven.

Verjaardagsetentje, verrassingsmenu was lekker. Hoofdgerecht had iets meer kunnen zijn, beetje te weinig, toetje was weer te groot. Nette zaak helaas meurt de toiletgang enorm (is waarschijnlijk riolering) maar de wc's ruiken wel fris en zijn schoon. Dat is wel een ding waar iets aan gedaan moet worden, op n gegeven moment werd de lucht echt too much, zeker als je vlakbij zit .

De gerechten op de kaart zijn echt iets speciaals en heerlijk bereid. De bediening vriendelijk en weten welke wijnen het eten nog meer tot zijn recht laten komen. We zaten op een plekje waar het erg tochtte, dat nam iets van de ervaring weg. Vandaar geen 5 sterren. We zouden er met liefde en plezier weer heen gaan.

Subliem lekker gegeten. Heel gezellig restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Alles was SUPER lekker. De inktvis als voorgerecht was mijn favoriet. Zo zo lekker. Ook de vis was overheerlijk en het vlees super mals en alles zo vers! Parking (ondergronds) naast de deur. Bediening en prijs kwaliteit zijn TOP. Een absolute aanrader als je in Nijmegen bent .
