I had an (expensive) apple ball (because they didn't have any apple fritters), but it was more like a large doughnut with a small piece of tasteless apple (or banana??) in it. Nasty, tasteless, greasy, and in the trash.

Wednesday morning, I ordered three large cream cakes with the message "Grandpa Jan's 90th Birthday." And I paid. Then my niece went to pick it up, and unfortunately, no cake! It was delicious, so Grandpa didn't get any cake for his 90th birthday. Now I have to find cakes for 30 people. So, no more De Vocht bakery for us! Dirk de Vocht has since contacted us, and Grandpa will still get the cream cake for his 90th birthday. We are so happy with how this was resolved. Thank you so much, Dirk de Vocht!

Tongelresestraat 274I was treated very poorly in the store after I picked up a "too good" to-go order. I'd ordered several for a nursing home. Unfriendly young staff who were completely disrespectful. I definitely won't be using this bakery again.
