Gely in Geuzenbuurt

No delivery and no refund. I ordered from this place last night through Thuisbezorgd delivery. The order was stuck at "being delivered" for a long time, over an hour. Thuisbezorgd customer service said to give it another half hour. I did. No delivery. At some point after that the status went to "delivered". It was not. Today Thuisbezorgd contacted me saying that their partner was unwilling to refund. So perhaps don't trust them for delivery!

Ordered fries for 1, secretly charged double the price. Hygiene also bad.

Disgraceful I still had to leave a review of the store owner that old man friendly not to mention but come on you make food the food was inedible I had chicken kapsalon and durum chicken grilled was inedible it looks like they reheat the food a few times in a row I happened to be outside before my pick-up time and I hear the microwave going over a few times I thought no it can't be that it is done for customers but probably for personal use especially when I was inside the store and met a family with small children probably the owner's family I was surprised that it was all done for my order the store stinks of beer to puke you have 2 things that have nothing to do with it nice owner but the food sorry even my own cat couldn't eat it at all.. The food doesn't even deserve a star it's just that I can only give the star and not a half because this is not worth your money I should have not ordered just wait until the next day there are enough other restaurants that open with FRESH FRIES CHICKEN EVERYTHING YOU OFFER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS he should actually give me money for this food that was not edible by a human or a cat..

I didnt get my order. I contacted with Thuisbezorgd and they said the owner of restaurant dont want to give me money back! He is thief! He stole my money . Its scam. I will report this.

Only go here if you have no option. Kill is open until 5 but the food is pretty bad

We ordered. We paid. The food never came!!! Fraud. I wish they would close forever. Stay away from these scammers

NEVER ORDER HERE! They never even sent my order. I stayed up all night untill 7 o'clock and still it didn't arrive even though it said it would arrive at 02:30. Can't get in contact with Restaurant. Probably not going to get money back if I'm reading other reviews! Never go or order here!

Besides it's being one of the most friendly places in Amsterdam, they also have one of the best "Turkish Pizza" aka "Lahmacun" The owner is extremely friendly and the food is amazing, the service is very good and the owner makes the atmosphere amazing, definitely a place to recommend.

Great guy! Cooked decent food for me in 20 minutes at 3 AM, so not much to complain about. The owner is very sociable and has a great story, so if you like to chat while you're waiting for your food, it's a plus.

I'm visiting Amsterdam for 4 nights and surprisingly after a certain hour during the night, it is almost impossible to find some place to eat. But then, there's Gely. The owner is really nice, we had a really nice conversation, the food is quite good and he closes the store at 6 am and prices are fair. The only thing I personally didn't like that much, it was the prescence of flies all over the place, tha could makes you think that the food might get you sick, but actually nothing happened.
