Golden Döner in Wijk 05 Purmer-Noord

After not being there for a long time, I decided to give it a try. But what stood out: the garlic bottle needed cleaning more often. Very little meat and a lot of sauce, which wasn't very tasty. It just wasn't good, unfortunately, and I won't be back.

The food was delicious. The salad at my kapsalon was fresh and finely chopped. The meat was wonderfully tender👌🏼. Furthermore, the service and hospitality of the staff far exceeded expectations. The hygiene was also impeccable (says someone with a fear of contamination)🙌🏻.

The döner where I usually get my sandwiches and Turkish pizza was closed, so I thought I'd get something from Golden Döner again. I've had good experiences there in the past! The first thing I found strange was that I was the only customer around dinnertime, but that could just be a coincidence. I ordered three sandwiches, two for me and one for my mother. I'm not exaggerating, but it was truly the worst döner sandwich I've ever had. Although the staff was very friendly, I didn't recognize their faces. Maybe the owners had changed? I have no idea. But it was truly awful. I even question whether it was actually döner; the pieces were so thick and covered in a thick layer of fat and moisture. It looked like it had been sitting there for a while. The sauce wasn't good either. Although I threw a large portion away and my mother vomited afterward, we didn't get sick, so thankfully it wasn't spoiled. But for me, NEVER again! Such a shame...

We got 2 hair salons and 2 sandwiches today! Unfortunately we ran out of chicken döner, but we made do with veal döner. This was really delicious. Very nice and sweet staff. We enjoyed it!

Best kebab I've tasted in the NL, great quality and service. I eat here regularly and I definiyely recommend this place.

The plan was to quickly pick up a tasty donër sandwich and Turkish pizza before we went to the cinema. To ensure that we would save the film on time, I called an hour in advance to arrange a pick-up where I was assured that it would not be a problem. Arrived at 6:00 PM and the sandwiches and pizzas haven't even been made yet. Finally, we leave 20 minutes later, slightly irritated, without any form of apology or compensation. Anyway, if the food is good and we are on time for the movie then we are not the worst…. The sandwiches were so incredibly lightly filled that I wondered if perhaps the contents of the sandwiches had fallen out of the bag (see photo). In addition, I counted exactly two drops of garlic sauce, which made the sandwich extremely dry (not quite choking). Luckily we had some garlic sauce at home to make it a bit more bearable. Very disappointing, especially after I normally order from the competitor on Wormerplein (closed due to holidays). I gave it a chance after reading a number of good reviews and this is also the last time I will eat here.

Just visited a hair salon here for the first time. It was awkward that the staff said about me in Turkish that 'I looked stupid'. Unfortunately, I understood this, as I am of Turkish descent myself. Very bad experience. Order placed via home delivery. Was delivered 40 minutes after the stated time (can happen, I think). In the meantime I called to say that the Turkish pizzas had run out and a sandwich was delivered instead. (Seems like quite a big difference to me?) Then the order finally arrived and things turned out to be missing. Of course I called. They didn't deliver it, but they added it to the next order. Not resolved properly, I will never order anything from here again.

Order online at 8:15 PM. I couldn't do it anymore, so I walked to the shop itself, unfortunately at 8.20 pm. everything has already been cleared away and nothing more is available. Opening hours both online and on the door are until 9 p.m. A bit disappointing.

Simple Turkish small bistro. Run by owner and his family. When you enter, you're be greeted with a genuine smile. And they are happy to serve you. Prices are fair. One of the few that serves big bread dishes in the area.

Owner is great! However, today there was a colleague who ruined everything. I order a large doner without lettuce and get enough meat to fill barely 1/3 of the sandwich, I call and he says that's how it should be... Too bad! The owner knows how to deal with his guests, but the rest can still suck it up!

Very bad, you ordered a bowl of chicken donar for 5 euros, it contained so much chicken that it could even be made into a sandwich, and then you also had to pay 50 cents for a bowl of garlic, some water, it's just rude, I'll never eat there again.

This time the garlic sauce was as liquid as water, which made my entire salon soaking wet. The same applies to the sambal.
